Baby Dragon
“Burps fireballs from the sky that deal area damage. Baby dragons hatch cute, hungry and ready for a barbeque.”
The Baby Dragon is unlocked from the Training Camp. It is a flying mini-tank with a splash attack that makes it great at taking out hordes of low health troops.
Strategies for using Baby Dragon
The Baby Dragon can be one of the hardest cards to counter when you start to play the game. It easily takes care of swarms and can avoid enemy troops while doing so. However, with the proper cards, it can be easily taken out.
Using the Baby Dragon of offense is simple on offense. He can serve as a mini-tank and support for big tanks due to his ability to quickly take out swarms. On defense, he is okay at absorbing hits and using your Princess tower to help him take out enemy units, then counter-attacking. One tip for the Baby Dragon is to combine him with Tornado. By pulling troops onto your opponent’s tower, you can damage both at the same time.
Defending the Baby Dragon is hard when you don’t have the right cards, but can be done with a variety of methods. Simply using a Musketeer, Electro Wizard, or Mega Minion will take him out easily, but there are much more effective methods. Kiting is a fantastic way to distract the Baby Dragon long enough for your towers to take him out. Units that are great at kiting included the Ice Golem, Ram Rider, and Valkyrie. Kiting is when you put a unit in the opposite lane to draw their attention. Chaining units together can also be used to take the Baby Dragon out. Although he excels at taking out smaller units, separating them can be very effective. Try placing smaller units in the center of your side to spread them out, and use multiple to keep him within both of your Princess towers.
