Miner Balloon Cycle | New Deck

0

Hey there! We are back again with another deck guide for Classic/Grand Challenges today. It is called Miner/Ice Golem Balloon Cycle, another off-meta but works pretty well in the 12-win challenges.

Miner Balloon Cycle Deck

copy deck

Deck Card

  • Miner: For this specific deck, the Miner is primarily used offensively as a mini tank for the Balloon and the other supporting units also it can be used to protect defending units by tanking them while defending.
  • Inferno Dragon: This card is specifically in this deck to melt the tanky units of your opponent mostly it has a defensive perspective in this deck as it can’t be used much in offence.
  • Balloon: Win condition of the deck, you gotta make it connect somehow to win. Deals heavy damage and the bomb death damage also weakens the opponent’s defending troops.
  • Zap: Used for the Skeleton Army, Goblin Barrel, Minions, and Bats. If your Balloon has a bit of health and is near to their tower, use it offensively to stun the princess tower to get that 1 juicy Balloon hit.
  • Fireball: Used mainly for eliminating opponent’s musketeer, magic archer, electro wizard, also minion horde that hinders your balloon, can be used defensively as well
  • Goblin Cage: A defensive building to soak damage and pull heavy hitters towards it so it can spawn the Goblin brawler which helps to defend with his high damage and fast hit speed.
  • Ice Golem: A great tanker for the Balloon and overall used as a mini tank/damage soaking card also used to kite the troops and make defending easier, can also be used offensively when paired with the Balloon.
  • Mega Minion: Again a versatile card with high damage/medium health, it’s almost like an airy goblin brawler. Used mainly defensively to kill the supporting units of the tank when placed on top of them(as the tank moves ahead). Can also be paired up with Balloon offensively.

Miner balloon deck cover

Deck Strategy

Opening: Take it slow in the opening of the game, mainly defend/counterattack as you know your Miner Balloon deck will shine in double elixir when you can out cycle them easily. Play ice golem in the back to begin a push or defend their push and then counter-attack which your remaining troops. With this deck, never rush the bridge without knowing opponents deck/cards as it can lead to you losing a tower by giving them positive elixir trades. Also, keep your opponent’s hand in your mind and play.miner baloon

Attacking: Pair the Balloon with Ice golem/Miner. Also if you know that the opponent has buildings, change your Balloon placement to 1 tile below the bridge (from the corner) as if you place it that way, a centre planted building (3 tiles from the tower, 4 tiles from the river 3×4) will not pull the balloon putting the opponent in trouble if they don’t know about this. The building has to be placed in a 2×4 placement to pull the Balloon. This is a very good trick if the opponent does not know about it. You also use Mega minion with the Miner/Ice golem push to provide support to the Balloon, also you can predict play the Miner if the opponent is playing their Musketeers, Wizards in the same place again and again. Use Fireball so that the Miner can one-shot the Fireball-ees. If the troops/ princess tower is locked to your Balloon and you have a miner coming in, use Zap so that their troops/tower will retarget to your miner.

Defending: When facing beatdown pushes, pull the tank with the Goblin cage use Miner/Ice Golem defensively to Soak the damage from their supporting units while your Inferno dragon annihilates their tank. And then use Mega Minion to finish their supporting units if required, then go for the counter-attack. For hog riders/ram riders use the goblin cage to pull and finish them, Goblin cage gives a good value in these cases, soaking the damage from the riders then spawning the goblin brawler for a counter-attack. miner baloon 2

Once you get a lead in the game, don’t just sit defending, attack the other lane to pressure the opponent as it is a bit hard to defend with this deck without taking damage so, double lane pushes are great for this Miner Balloon deck.

Weaknesses

  1. X-bow Cycle/IceBow: These decks have 2 buildings, that is why getting through against these decks is very hard, there is still a chance that you could outplay the X-bow cycle but it becomes very difficult to outplay a good IceBow player. With the rocket and Ice wizard, Archers, it becomes hard to penetrate. So, while facing these decks, cycle Fireball as there is very little chance that you will touch their tower by your Balloon, clip Teslas, Knights, Archers with the Fireball.

2. Royal Recruits+Royal Hogs: It’s just too many swarms, you have to decide that you wanna use Fireball for the Royal hogs/Flying machine/Zappies. Our Miner Balloon deck doesn’t have many splashers so, When facing this, use Goblin cage wisely to pull all the hogs, pressure your opponent by fast cycling Balloon, do not let them build up the elixir to put royal recruits as, after that their will be so much on the map and you will be unlikely to defend it.

I hope that this guide helped you to understand this Miner Balloon deck and learn about its play style. Thanks to Shreyas K for sharing this deck guide with us. Stay tuned for more content.

Royal Giant Skeleton Cycle | New Deck

0

Hey there! We’re back with a new kind of Royal Giant cycle clash royale deck which uses the new card Electro Spirit. Electro Spirit was released last year and we are now into Season 19 of Clash Royale. It takes some time and now people are finally getting to know the use of the new cards now. So, let’s get started.

Royal Giant Giant Skeleton Cycle Deck

Clash Royale Giant SkeletonClash Royale HunterClash Royale LumberjackClash Royale Flying Zappies

copy deck

Deck Cards

  • Giant Skeleton: A strong card with okayish damage but its bomb which it drops is so solid that it ravages the whole arena and this card will be in the main push of this clash royale deck.
  • Hunter: A very explosive card, though Fireball destroys hunter, he is a beast in close range, with a slow hit speed but his shotgun pellets melt everything.
  • Zappies: They are solid defence as they stun the enemy troops, the building targeting troops do not stand a tad bit of chance in front of them. With Fisherman and Hunter in this deck, it makes it a fireball bait deck too.
  • Royal Giant: It is the main win condition of this deck, ranged giant with excellent firepower he is also beefy which makes him hard for the opponent to counter.
  • Fisherman: You cannot escape the pull of his hook. If placed correctly, he can stop hogs, divert building targeting enemy troops in the other lane with the addition of making them slow.
  • Earthquake: A useful spell for this deck, kills swarms which damage the royal giant, devastate buildings so the royal giant can lock on the enemy tower.
  • Barbarian Barrel: Mainly for distracting troops and clearing swarms, damaging supporting troops which are behind tanks and for the nasty goblin barrel.
  • Electro Spirit: Many decks include electro spirit now, due to its chained electric shock— the ability to kill swarms like skeletons, bats and stun bigger units. It is a supporting card in this clash royale deck for the royal giant push to clear swarms or stun infernos.

Royal Giant cycle deck

Deck Strategy

Start defensively with a Giant Skeleton at the back or cycle to it with Zappies at the back or Hunter at the back, never go for Fisherman, Electro Spirit at the back as the opponent can take advantage of the Fisherman for pulling their troops near your princess tower and with Electro spirit they can activate their king tower.Royal giant cycle

Now as soon as Giant skeleton crosses the bridge, play Royal Giant, their troops will target for the Giant skeleton and then the Royal giant eventually killing them by Giant skeleton’s death bomb, so it disables the opponent for playing anything near Royal giant on the field and hence letting your royal giant connect to their tower.

royal giant cycle 2

Zappies are for pure defence or when they have Inferno dragon/tower, play Zappies at the bridge to stun they’ll always have something that prevents your Zappies to lock on their Inferno, that is what the Electro spirit is for. If they have any offensive/defensive buildings, earthquake them for tower damage and clipping the defend units of your opponent, Electro spirit is for when they have Bats, Goblins, Skeleton army or their Inferno.

While aggressing, use your Fisherman on the river to pull their defending troops on your side and to save the royal also it kills them easily as now your princess tower attacks them too. Remember, the Hunter is the only tank killer you have, so you have to play it wisely mostly with the synergy of the Fisherman when it pulls their tanks, save your Hunter for their Hog riders, Ram riders, Giants, Golems and other tanks. Also, you can kite their troops by your Royal giant to build a push in the other lane, this is a good tactic.

Weaknesses:

  1. Miner-Wallbreaker: As a Miner-Wallbreaker player myself, I find it easy to counter Royal Giant cycle decks. But once I choked against a player using this deck, my opponent was constantly cycling to the Royal giant and I once had 2 Royal giants on the map, one on the left and the other on right. So, I would recommend doing that if you face miner-Wallbreaker opponents as you can pull their Knights, Electro spirit their bats snatching the nice DPS they have on the Royal giant and then cycle back to Royal giant and put pressure on the other lane by playing it there.

2. Golem Beatdown: I could not find many weaknesses to this deck is it is currently meta and counters almost everything but you can always choke with this deck against a good Golem player. You need to constantly play Royal giants to apply pressure on them and not allowing them to play their Golem because once they do build a full-fledged Lumber-Night witch push, you are doomed XD.

That’s all for today and I hope you found this deck helpful to destroy your opponents. Thanks to Shreyas K again for sharing this deck guide with us. Stay tuned for more. Clash On!

Lumber Ram Rider Bridgespam | Clash Royale deck

0

Hey there! Fellow clashers! Today, we’re back with an exceptional bridge spam Lumber-Ram Rider Clash Royale deck. Nevertheless, it is an off-meta deck. But that doesn’t mean that it can’t work, this deck is used by many top players and has an excellent win rate against the meta decks. So let’s see what it’s about.

Lumber-Ram Rider Clash Royale Deck

Clash Royale Inferno DragonClash Royale Lumberjackice golemClash Royale fireball

Clash Royale Barbarian BarrelClash Royale BanditClash Royale Magical ArcherClash Royale Ram Rider

copy deck

Deck Cards

  • Ice Golem: The best damage absorbing and defensive card in the game, can also kite ground units like Knights, Mini Pekkas and even mama Pekkas.
  • Ram Rider: A stronger variant of a hog rider having to snare ability and as lethal as a hog rider if it’s on the tower!
  • Lumberjack: A great offensive and defensive arm, melts the tanks because of its better damage and hit speed. Can be utilized when needed as counter-attack as it drops the rage spell for the new troops while dying.
  • Inferno Dragon: MELTS tanks in seconds with the dominant lava beam falling from its mouth, fatal if engaged on troops with massive hit points.
  • Magic Archer: His piercing ability is one of the finest in the game and drives him truly exceptional, a perfect defensive card if placed correctly MELTS everything by his geometry.
  • Fireball: For supporting the ram rider to connect to the tower by damaging the opponent’s defensive troops and valued for defence if required.
  • Barbarian Barrel: For that nasty goblin barrel or that skeleton army, a great defensive card overall.
  • Bandit: A major bridge spam card, it is hard for the opponent to react in time to counter it when placed on the bridge. Also has defensive capabilities.

Lumber Ram deck cover

Deck Strategy

You can Start passively or aggressively according to your play style if you play passive you can play a Magic Archer at the back or ice golem to see what the opponent’s cards are or you can always rush the bridge with the 3-elixir Bandit to see what counters he has for your cards.
When the game progresses, use Lumberjack, Inferno Dragon and Bandit for defence and then use Ice Golem as a mini tank for the remaining troops and aggress with playing the ram rider.IMG 20210105 152839

REMEMBER, bridge spam is all about double lane attacking and putting pressure on the opponent to win. You can aggress with the ram rider on one lane with the counter-attacking troops and play Bandit on the other lane to put pressure on the opponent to counter it, and if he fails you get good tower damage. While attacking with Lumberjack or Ram Rider, always play the Magic Archer on the river line as to get building damage (if the opponent has one), for their swarms as his arrow pierces skeleton army, goblin gang and you can always use the power of GEOMERTY and take advantage of a wrongly
placed card by your opponent in form of tower damage because of magic archer’s range.
You can predict play Fireball if the opponent has Barbarians, Wizards, Musketeer any buildings as their defensive troops will be destroyed by the Fireball and cleaned up by your supporting units. Always use Fireball when you know they’re going to play air troops like Minions, Mega Minion, Skeleton Dragons because this deck doesn’t have many splashers and the magic archer does not kill these air troops in 1 tick.
With Bandits dash and Magic Archer’s arrows buildings or the opponents ground units can be destroyed plus Bandit provides a good defensive usage to stop mini tanks such as Knights and Mini Pekkas.Ram lumber deck

If Ice Golem is in your hand, ALWAYS play it at the bridge as a tank for other units It can prevent the Inferno Tower locking on on your Ram Rider and will be pushed ahead by your supporting troops which will make it the first target for opponents troops/buildings. When facing a beatdown push, play Inferno Dragon so that it can lock on their tank and if they have supporting units you can use the Ice Golem to distract their Electro Wizards hits or hits by the other troops buying enough time for the dragon to destroy the tank then you can prepare for counter push with the ram rider.

Weaknesses:

1. Mega Knight: Watch out for this big guy it is THE best counter for ram rider and it can completely sabotage your counter push by its spawn damage. So what you can do is when your opponent plays Mega Knight in the left lane, rush the right one with bridge spam by which the opponent will spend elixir there to counter your push and you can easily play 4-elixir inferno dragon to melt the big knight.
2. Tornado/Splashers: As there are versatile cards in this deck which offer low to medium hit points, splashers/tornado can counter your deck very easily even a wizard-tornado can stop your entire push and will give a chance to the opponent for a counter-attack. So, why give them? What you can do is use the bridge spam wisely i.e. when they don’t have a Tornado in rotation, you can use Magic Archer more to take advantage of their wrong placements using his geometry and chip their tower for free damage.
3. Swarmies: You won’t always have Magic archer in hand for the swarms, your Lumberjack, Bandit, Inferno Dragon can be easily distracted with Spear goblins, Skeletons giving the opponent positive elixir trades so when facing these type of decks, aggress in double elixir does not give your opponents chances for positive elixir trades. Also if they have goblin barrel, use the Barbarian Barrel exclusively for it or else, Goblin Barrel will mean guaranteed damage on your tower, you need to play wisely against log bait decks.

Lava Hound Night Witch | Clash Royale Deck

0

Hey! We are back again with a new Clash Royale deck guide. The new Clash Royale Season 19 called Frozen peak has started. Lava Hound Night Witch emerged as a meta deck in the late Season 18 and it is going strong. We have Shreyas K with us who plays this deck and has shared this guide. Let’s see how to use this deck to overpower your opponents!

Lava Hound Night Witch Clash Royale Deck

Clash Royale Barbarian BarrelClash Royale Lava HoundClash Royale Night WitchClash Royale Goblin Cage
Clash Royale Flying MachineClash Royale MinerClash Royale fireballskeletondragon

copy deck

Deck Cards

  • Lava Hound: Is there anything to say about it? The mighty beast which is a great tank for other supporting troops.
  • Night Witch: Great ground troop for the deck, which spawns bats and bats synergises with other supporting units.
  • Goblin Cage: Best low-elixir building card for this Clash Royale deck. It draws all the hog riders, giants, electro giants and saves your tower and buys the towers time to melt the opponent’s tanks.
  • Barbarian Barrel: Log-like card best for goblin barrel and other swarms of the opponent.
  • Flying Machines: High damage single target flying troop which synergises with lava hound and clears anything in the way of lava hound.
  • Skeleton Dragons: Air units with splash damage, clears swarms like minion horde or bats that opponent places to destroy your hound.
  • Miner: Tank card for the lava pups and other supporting units, can be used defensively for ground if needed.
  • Fireball: To finish musketeers, wizards, electro wizards, magic archers that posses a threat to your lava hound.

Clash Royale deck

Deck Strategy

Opening: Lava Hound is THE BEST starting hand for this one, no worries if you don’t get it, you can always cycle miner or split skeleton Dragons in order to cycle to lava hound. Only use lava hound if the opponent does not go all in, you can always ignore cards like Spear Goblins, Goblin gang or Miner which are low damaging and save elixir for your big push.

After defending the push or starting with lava hound at first, when the hound is about to cross the bridge always stagger skeleton dragons and flying machine at the middle of the river to save your lava hound from inferno tower and to target their inferno tower on your Skeleton Dragon/Flying Machine you can also plant the night witch near your tower when the lava hound does not cross the bridge so the bats she spawns will be targeted by the inferno, or to destroy any other buildings which pull the hound or to clear their defensive units by Skeleton dragons/Flying machine.
If fireball doesn’t work, you can play the miner behind their units so that the miner can shove them and then tank for the lava pups and other supporting units when the hound bursts.

Mid-game: After taking the tower you have to mainly defend, but you can always go for the 2 crown which is the better option so that the opponent does not get elixir for showing aggression on you with their pushes. You don’t want them pushing on you with a big army in this Clash Royale deck.

Defending: If a building targeting troop is played with supporters by your opponent, you can pull it by the Goblin Cage and play night witch on top of the supporters so when she dies she spawns bats hence buying enough time for the tank to die with the help of princess towers and goblin brawler.
End-game: Repeat the cycle on the second Princess tower of the enemy so that they don’t push on you while defending your tower. Walk away with a one or two crown win.

Weaknesses:

  1. Inferno dragon/Inferno tower: This Clash Royale deck doesn’t have zap so you have to not let their tower/dragon lock on your lava hound. You can predict-play a barb barrel so that their inferno connects on your barbarian getting enough time by your troops to surround their tower/dragon and finishing it. You can also use fireball for all the troops like Electro Wiz, Wizard, Magic Archer, Flying machine, Archers.
  2. Hunter: He is very fragile but if placed on top of your hound/supporting troops he can melt them easily and efficiently so save your miner/fireball for him. Or trick play the opponent in using it before the hound.
  3. Beatdown decks (Giant, Golem, Electro Giant): To play against these decks with lava hound clash royale deck can become very tough, place your goblin cage 3 tiles from the river and 4 tiles from the princess tower before the tank crosses the bridge so only the tank will be pulled and targeted by both your princess towers then, use Night Witch on the supporting troops, use Skeleton Dragons or even you can fireball to prevent damage, also distract them by Barbarian Barrel buying more time for the tank to die.

That’s all for today. I hope this will help you. Thanks again to Shreyas K who shared this guide with us. Stay tuned with us for more Clash Royale deck guides and other articles. Clash On!

Clash Royale Season 19: Frozen Peak (January 2021)

0

Hey Clashers! It’s Krux here and I’m back again with some new and refreshing air and the latest Clash Royale update. The Logmas season is going to end today, i.e., January 4 and a new season will start. The season is called Frozen Peak. It is also the name of an arena in the game. As the name suggests, it will have a winter theme with icicles and snow. Supercell had told that they would not be focusing more on substantial updates and not the seasons. So it may feel a bit down from the past seasons, as we won’t have new art and arenas. But if that is for the better, then it’s okay. Let’s see what Season 19 Frozen Peak has to offer.

Clash Royale Season 19 Pass Royale

This season’s Pass Royale has a tower skin and exclusive emote. The shop will also have an emote buyable with money. Thought no free emotes or skin but the pass royale items may hold your eye.

Clash Royale Season 19Tower Skin: Frozen Tower
The season is Frozen Peak and the pass royale tower skin is Frozen Peak. The King tower is made of ice with shards at the corners. The bluish ice looks cool to the eyes. The Princess towers have snow accumulated on the railing and is made of ice too. Overall, a good wintery themed skin.

Clash Royale Season 19 Emotes

icewizard dancer fs8Ice Wizard: Dancer
There are not much Ice Wizard emotes in the game and this one is grooving. The Ice Wizard is dancing with blowing snowflakes out of his palms. A cold emote but not very cold.

icewizard popcorn fs8Ice Wizard: Popcorn
Looks like Ice Wizard is breaking the fourth wall with this one. He is eating popcorn while grinning naughtily, Perhaps he is watching the enemy tower go down with a Golem push. Very good emote to trigger your opponent. Nice BMing.

Clash Royale Season 19 Boosted Cards

mother witchMother Witch: The card which was added last season was boosted in Season 18. It will be boosted this season also so that people can play it more and get used to it. Decks refine with time with new cards.

ice wizardIce Wizard: Winters are here and the snow is falling. It is the season of the Ice Wizard. He will be boosted to your King tower level for this season. Freezing good!

Clash Royale Season 19 Arena

PngItem 3730669

We are visiting Arena 8 which is Frozen peak again this season. The blue mountain peak and the light snowfall is befitting to the weather we are having outside. There is also a fire to keep the king warm and some huts. No new arena but it’s fine considering the way the game updates are being approached. Keep your socks on for this cold winter.

Clash Royale Season 19 Balance Changes

Hog Rider’s health will be halved as some Hog Rider cycle players are using the deck everywhere in challenges, global tournaments, and party mode. To stop such Hog riders to push the brown man to its limits, it’s health is being reduced to 50%.

Just kidding, there will be no balance changes in Clash Royale Season 19. Supercell has mentioned that balance changes will be done every third month to give time to other important things and also changing stats discourage players who have some cards at the highest level.

The way we play ladder will also be seeing changes in the coming days with the CRL format being changed this year. It will be more open and more players can make it to the league. Let’s see what unfolds.

That’s all about the latest Clash Royale Season 19 called Frozen Peak. I hope you will enjoy the snowy hills and win some good matches. Stay tuned with us for more Clash Royale guides, articles, and updates. Clash On!

Top 5 Underrated Cards in Clash Royale

0

Hey guys! Its Blaze back with another guide for you all! Today I will be talking about what I think are the 5 most underrated cards in Season 15 of Clash Royale.

qustion mark cards 1

What do I mean by “Underrated”?

Basically, these are cards which don’t see a lot of use (unless it’s a troll/mid-ladder deck), however when used correctly can provide a lot of value and really thrive. The way I have selected these cards is a mix of my personal opinion as well as their use-rates. Using them might sometimes catch your opponents off-guard which you can use to your advantage.

Below, I will be talking about each card and why I think they are underrated followed by some cards you can use them with.

Note: These cards aren’t stated in order of their strength as that is rather relative. Instead, they are stated alphabetically.

Underrated Cards:

Clash Royale BomberBomber:

Bomber is one of the first cards you unlock in the game and can dominate in the early arenas, but as you progress its usage drops down. A lot of people underestimate the Bomber. For a 3 elixir card, the Bomber is surprisingly tanky as it can survive Log as well as Arrows, and deals a pretty good amount of damage.

It has a small health bar which is confusing for players and makes them ignore the Bomber, but it actually has higher hp than visible so a lot of times it can get a bomb in when you don’t expect it. It is also one of the only two ranged ground splash units, the other one being the Bowler (who is a lot tankier and has a different attack mechanic) making him a somewhat unique card although he is a basic card.

Bomber can really thrive behind tanks as it can easily take care of ground swarms and can deal tonnes of damage. Since it cannot target air couple him with Baby Drag or Skel Drags too care of the skies, add in a Tornado and you can pull any defensive melee troops from the Bomber to the enemy tower and let the splash attack wreak havoc.

electro spiritElectro Spirit:

Electro Spirit is second latest card added in the game and before its release, people thought it would be an over-powered card. However, it turned out to be rather underwhelming and hasn’t seen any usage other than X-bow decks (which reminds me, RIP X-bow).

eSpirit might need a small damage buff to make it a bit more viable, but I feel it is still a pretty great card. In fact, he is an amazing card in 2v2. In normal 1v1 battles, rarely does a situation arrive when all of the 9 chain attacks are used, meaning the eSpirit can never reach its full potential, unless of course it is used against swarms. However, in 2v2 since there are twice the number of cards on the arena, the eSpirit can use its chain attack to it full potential and can provide a lot of value.

The best decks to use the eSpirit are cheap cycle decks and decks which aren’t quit affected by a King Tower activation (say GY or Miner). It can really be good in Siege decks as opponents defend your buildings at the bridge and usually with small units which the eSpirit can quickly clear off and can also make the other units retarget and attack a tank instead of the building due to the stun effect.

Even though the Royal Giant is not a Siege card it works in a very similar way as it can attack far from the tower, nearer to the bridge. Here again the eSpirit can be quickly used to help the RG stay alive longer and get an extra hit.

Clash Royale Giant SkeletonGiant Skeleton:

Giant Skeleton is a tank which drops a devastating bomb when it dies. The major mistake people make is that they consider him as a win-condition which is wrong. The GiantSkel is not a win-condition like the other tanks in the game, instead he is a threat card similar to the role of say a Mega Knight or PEKKA. You want the GiantSkel to tank for your win-condition and when it dies have the death-bomb take care of the enemy troops.

GiantSkel is also amazing on defence. His bomb can kill almost all troops in the game bar some mini-tanks and tanks. Plop him in middle of enemy push and when he dies pull everything in with the Tornado. He is also one of the best cards to use with Clone (two bombs = infinite damage).

The best win-conditions to use him would be Hog Rider, Balloon and Skeleton Barrel. With the Hog Rider and Loon, the GiantSkel does a great job of soaking up the damage from buildings while with SkelBarrel, he works well with the Clone Spell. In the CRL World Finals, GiantSkel found lot of unprecedented success in an RG EQ deck which I believe was created by Hajime, and was later used by a lot of players.

Clash Royale Goblin HutGoblin Hut:

Goblin Hut is a building that spawns a Spear Goblin every few seconds and when destroyed spawns 3 Spear Goblins. Before the recent balance changes, Barbarian Hut was a dominant card in the meta and hence got a well deserved nerf. I feel like the BarbHut really overshadowed the GobHut and the GobHut actually has a lot of potential.

It can keep applying pressure with the waves of Spear gobs, but unlike the barb hut the spear goblins don’t pose much of a threat like 2 barbarians, which means opponent is more likely ignore the spear gobs, so they’ll actually end up dealing more damage than the barbarians.

The best decks to use the Gob Hut is along with zap/fireball bait or chip cycle decks. You can also use it with tanks like PEKKA or GiantSkel as the spear goblins can quickly snowball behind them and provide decent air support as well. It might also be used in place of Barb Hut in the GY/RG decks and do a pretty decent job and bring down the cost of the deck as well.

Clash Royale GuardsGuards:

Guards have always been one of my favourite cards ever since they were released in 2016 along with Fire Spirits, Furnace, Sparky, Lava Hound and Miner. That’s how old this card is, and yet the only time it was really meta was during the Goison meta which honestly was ages ago.

Supercell finally decided to rework the card and I feel that it’s a really underrated card right now. Earlier they were just skeletons with shield, now they are Skeletons (like the 1 elixir card) with the shield. Thus, they provide the same DPS as the Skeletons and have immunity to spells bar two.

The only spells that can kill them are Arrows and Poison. In the case of Arrows, even though its kinda instant, it takes 2 waves to kill them so you can drop them kinda late and they’ll be able to survive the arrows. In the case of Poison, it takes 4 ticks to kill them so the each of the Guards can get 4 hits in which is 804 dmg (67 dmg * 3 Guards * 4 seconds/ticks) at Tournament standard which is a lot of damage before they die. Thus, they can provide a lot of value.

Now, the Guards like the Skeletons are really versatile cards and thus can be used in a variety of decks. Their main use in on defence where they can be used to kill either the support troops or the win-conditions depending on the situation. They can also be used to defend against heavy hitters like PEKKA, Mini PEKKA, Prince and Elite Barbarians. They are also a decent counter to GY as they can survive the Poison for some time and can take care of a good number of skeletons, they also work well in GY decks as they can tank for the GY.

That’s all folks! Hope you guys enjoyed reading the guide and found it to be helpful! Have fun and Clash On!!

Sayonara,

Blaze Stone

Sparky Mother Witch Deck | New Meta

0
Hey there! It’s Krux here, and I am back again with some Holiday air and a new Clash Royale Deck guide. We are now near mid-season in the latest Season 18 Logmas. Along with pleasing changes and new emotes, a new card is also added to the game and people are trying to master it. We have covered Mother Witch info if you want to revise. Also, we brought a Giant Skeleton Mother Witch deck and today we will see another new Mother Witch deck.

Sparky Mother Witch Deck

motherwitchClash Royale ZapClash Royale RageClash Royale Bats

Clash Royale Dark PrinceClash Royale goblin giantClash Royale SparkyClash Royale Hunter

copy deck

This Goblin Giant Sparky with Mother Witch deck may look heavy but has an average elixir cost of 3.8. It has two tanks with cost 6 elixir and three 3-elixir cards which balance the deck.

Deck Cards

  • Mother Witch: Our answer to swarms such as goblins, skeleton army, graveyard and bats.
  • Zap: This versatile spell card justifies its place as both defensive and offensive.
  • Rage: Why is it rage here when there are no E-Barbaians? you know why.
  • Bats: Bats got buff this season and we will be using them as witty defence and support for the tanks.
  • Dark Prince: Our friend is a ground-attacking splash card and a mini tank with his shield. Very good support in the push.
  • Goblin Giant: The big green guy is our main tank in the deck and also one of the win-conditions.
  • Sparky: Goblin Giant is there for Sparky. Sparky is our electrifying win condition.
  • Hunter: The main air defence to stop balloons locking on our tower in this Sparky Mother Witch deck. Bats won’t do everything.Sparky MW deck

Deck Strategy

Opening: We are under no pressure to start the game with a first move. We have heavy cards with us which are not the good play to put on the arena first.

Mother Witch DeckWe can go with the bats and cycle, Dark Prince at the back of the king tower. These are two safe bets. If your opponent makes the first move, then you will place Dark Prince or Mother Witch as the defence at the back. If they try to push all-in with supports etc, then Sparky will be a counter to tanks like Giants. Zap can also be used to take out swarms such as bats. With this, you will defend your tower and end up with a counter push with Dark Prince/mother Witch and Sparky. If the case is that the opponent doesn’t push, you are relaxed with one troop on the arena. If you placed Sparky, you will try to place Goblin Giant ahead of it. This is our basic push strategy for this Mother Witch deck. If you are not up on elixir for Goblin Giant, don’t overcommit with bats or Mother witch, it won’t make the cut.rage time

Counter-Pushing: You successfully defended using any one card in the Mother Witch deck. And now it is time to counter-push nastily onto the opponent’s tower. You can put the Dark Prince and Hunter/Mother Witch to push if you don’t have elixir for Sparky and Goblin Giant. Sending Sparky alone is not a good idea. It will be taken out and we will have to deal with a counter-push which can give a hard time. You will begin the push with the Sparky or the Goblin Giant at the back and the Sparky behind the Goblin Giant. And when they have crossed the bridge, place anyone support according to the opponent’s defence, be it Dark Prince or bats or Mother Witch. And then at last, Rage. Rage everything. This nasty won’t be stopped using buildings or wizards. You will get a lot of damage or perhaps a tower. push

Endgame: If you got one crown, the game is on your side and you have to defend now. Also, you can build another push if not taken out the tower already. In this Mother witch deck, Sparky can also be used as a defence for Tanks like Pekka. Pair it with bats to take them out and counter push. Repeat the push cycle to take the enemy princess tower.

Tips:

  • Do not bridge spam Sparky or Goblin Giant.
  • Lure the enemy troops by placing the Goblin Giant in the middle and it walks away to the other lane.
  • Use Sparky as a defence with it being alive after the fight.
  • This Sparky Mother Witch deck doesn’t allow overcommitting.

That’s all for today. I hope you get some red crowns using this deck. Stay tuned with us for more guides, articles and updates on Clash Royale. Clash On!

Miner Wall Breakers Fast Cycle Deck

0

Hey guys! Its Blaze back with another guide for you all! Today, I will be talking about a fun quick Miner Wall Breaker cycle deck which I feel will be pretty good this season.

Without further ado, let’s jump right in!

Deck Overview:

Clash Royale MinerClash Royale Wall BreakersClash Royale KnightClash Royale Hunter

Clash Royale Spear GoblinsClash Royale The LogClash Royale fireballClash Royale Bomb Tower

Clash Royale MinerMiner:

With the not-so-recent tower damage nerf, Miner is no longer considered a dependable win-condition however he performs the role of a Mini Tank. Use him to tank for your Wall Breakers or Spear Goblins as well as to kill enemy defensive units like a Musketeer or Archers.

Clash Royale Wall BreakersWall Breakers:

Wall Breakers are the main win-condition of this deck. For 2 elixir, they deal a huge amount of damage, taking out around 25% HP of a Princess Tower. Very few cards can counter them for a positive elixir trade, and when coupled with a tank, the number drops further. You can also use them for kiting troops.

Clash Royale KnightKnight:

Knight is an underrated card among most casual players as they don’t recognize his value. For 3 elixir, he as excellent HP and DPS making him one of the strongest cards in the game if you consider the value he provides. Use him as a tank for you Wall Breakers or as an assassin to take care of support troops on defence.

Clash Royale HunterHunter:

Hunter is an extremely versatile and strong card in the meta right now. He can act as a splash unit as well as a tank killer, and can also hit both ground as well as air troops, thus performing a lot of roles. He is great on defence, and can also help on offence. A single Hunter hit can deal a good amount of damage to Crown Towers.

Clash Royale Spear GoblinsSpear Goblins:

Spear Goblins provide the ability to cycle quickly as well as more defence against air troops. You can use them to chip the enemy towers throughout the match, or even couple with a Miner to form a cheap threatening push. They are also great for kiting enemy troops to the middle of your side of the arena, in the cross-fire region.

Clash Royale The LogThe Log:

Not much to say about this card. Great for taking out ground swarms, dealing chip damage and great knockback.

Clash Royale fireballFireball:

Many people run Earthquake in this deck, but I feel like Fireball with its ability to hit air troops and knockback provides a lot more versatility, although it does make the deck slightly more expensive and less crown tower damage. Since the deck has only 2 cards for air defence, both of which can be taken down easily with spells, Fireball seems a better choice as it provides a slight margin for error while with EQ, you gotta defend perfectly as in most cases EQ will be used on offence.

Clash Royale Bomb TowerBomb Tower:

Bomb Tower is tanky defensive building which can take care of ground attacks very effectively. Since it cannot attack air, it can be a tank the air troops’ hits while the Hunter and Spear Goblins take care of them, and if it dies its death bomb also cleans everything easily.

Game Plan:

This deck is an extremely fast cycle deck, so the main tactic is to keep the opponent at their toes by applying constant pressure i.e. controlling the tempo of the match.

This deck has cards like Knight, Hunter, Miner and Fireball which provide a lot of versatility and utility. If you are able to use them to their utmost potential, you can gain elixir advantage easily. This will make your deck cycle even faster than before compared to your opponents, depriving him of opportunities to create a strong push.

Even though the Wall Breakers are the main win-condition of this deck, they won’t always reach the enemy towers. However, the pressure they create as well as the opponent’s inability to counter them for positive elixir trade in most cases, they help in maintaining your control over the match.

If the Wall Breakers reach the enemy towers only twice in the match, they have done their job as they can take out huge chunks of HP. The rest of the match all you gotta do is Miner Spell cycle. One Wall Breaker connection late game can swing the match in your favor or seal the deal.

This deck’s main weakness is a heavy deck. The Hunter + Knight + Bomb Tower can defend small or medium pushes with ease, however can’t effectively defend against large pushes. To prevent a heavy push, you gotta keep up the pressure while making sure you don’t over-commit. Its very difficult to gain the lead in a match late in the game with this deck, so you should try to be in control since the very start.

Arrows is this deck’s kryptonite. It kills the Wall Breakers for albeit a negative trade but in most cases its not a bad decision as you lose the ability to apply pressure. As I said before, since the tower damage nerf, Miner can’t deal a lot of damage to crown towers on his own so you don’t have no way to deal damage.

Opponents will always use Arrows to kill the Wall Breakers and chip the Miner same time, then ignore him while forming a strong push on the other lane while you’re down on elixir, so you won’t be able to defend it perfectly and eventually they will out-chip you and take out your tower.

Useful Tips:

  • As with all Miner decks, try to switch up his position always and play mind tricks on your opponent. But beware of Tornado.
  • Place Wall Breakers on the outer edge of the bridge instead of directly in front, similar to how you would place stab Goblins. This will result in them reaching the tower quicker as the Wall Breaker in the front will be pushed by the one behind it.
  • Instead of just using Miner + Wall Breakers always switch up your pushes by using Miner + Spear Goblins and Knight + Wall Breakers.
  • The latter works very well as the Wall Breakers can push the Knight making him move faster and if they have a connection, their splash damage can clear out enemy defences so that your Knight can freely attack the tower.
  • You can also try this with Hunter as well. Hunter will be close to tower after being pushed by the Wall Breakers from where he will be able to deal tonnes of damage. This however a cheesy push and not a dependable offensive tactic, but if you catch opponent off-guard then it’s devastating.
  • If the opponent places the same troop at the same position every time on defence, you can use a predictive Log or Fireball to kill the troops or at least knock them back so that your Wall Breakers can connect.
  • This works with Miner as well, especially in sudden death when you need that last small chunk of damage where in you send your Miner followed by a pre-Fireball. The Fireball can first deal damage and lower the HP while also killing/knocking back any troops the opponent places to catch the Miner so that he can finish of the remaining HP of the tower.

That’s all folks! Hope you guys enjoyed reading this guide and found it helpful! Have fun and clash on!

  • Flying Machine: Our flying support for the Giant Skeleton to keep the push alive.
  • Barbarians: Another defensive card to stop tanks and other big enemies. Not to be wasted.

Deck Strategy

Opening: This Clash Royale deck is not the one which allows you to do anything like the first move. If you have Skeleton Barrel in the opening hand, let it swiftly go to their Princess Tower and defend. It will reveal their Log or Zap or other spells. It may also be countered by a gang of goblins, so use your Hunter as the defence in that case. Depending upon their card, you will use the Cannon cart or the Barbarians as a defence. For instance, if they place a Mega knight for the skeletons from the barrel and think that they can early destroy you with a large push. Mother Witch DeckThen use the other defences. If the opponent makes the first move, defend it with some card which has a counter-push potential. For instance, if they send a Skeleton Barrel or Goblin barrel, use the Barbarians. Never use the Mother Witch to lone defend anything. She can’t counter push on her own.

The right time to clone the push

Pushing: After defending the attack, it’s time to push with all our might. You have defended with hunter or Barbarians and if the elixir bar is going to be full, then place your Skeleton Barrel and Flying Machine as the support for the push. Let them go and see what your opponent uses for defence. At this point, you will use the clone spell. The clone spell should cover all the units in our push. The right moment to use the clone is shown in the picture on the right below.
This will make a nasty mess in the opponent’s arena with the Skeleton barrels bursting and the flying machines taking out the defences. Do not overcommit after this step and just wait for the dust to settle. you will need elixir to defend the counter-push now. You can also place the Mother witch instead of the Flying machine, it depends on what defence the enemy uses. If they use goblins or bats, Mother witch deck rules. She will turn them into hogs and you know what hogs, barbarians, skeleton barrel and their clones mean. A tower down.

End-game: If you got one crown with a push, just cautiously defend your tower till the time runs out. If somehow your opponent saved their tower with 500 hitpoints you will have to play your game again. Also if you made a mistake in pushing or did overcommit, you may see your tower going down. This is the risk of a heavy deck, one grave mistake and you will be watching it collapse. Just defend again with a tank and then build the push with a support card and Clone it. One large push is sufficient most of the times to win the game. Yeah, one push only but this comes with a warning- one mistake only to mess it up too.

dekkkQuick Tips: Defend, build a nasty push with Giant Skeleton/Barbarians+Flying Machine/Mother Witch and Skeleton barrel. Clone it at the right time. This is the summary in two sentences.

  • Do not bridge spam anything.
  • Do not use clone on a single troop or just the skeleton barrel. It will be wasted and also clone will be out of the cycle when you push. Dumb way to lose the game.
  • You are full on elixir and you placed Giant Skeleton and Flying machine together at the bridge. You will be crying against the counter push.
  • Start with a defence or put the tanks at the back.
