Giant Sparky – Bring The Fun Back!

288
giant sparky

Hey guys it’s Cow FTW here for my FIFTH guide and for this special occasion, I present to you this amazing Giant Sparky deck that is a great counter to the overpowered Elite Barbs and Double Prince Combo.

This deck allows you to farm easy victories. I speak from experience and I’m not an amazing player, this should tell you something!

Despite being outshined by the popular Giant Sparky Bait, in my opinion this decks is much better with its crazy good defense, plus it counters the Double Prince combo exceedingly well!

The Giant Sparky Deck

Clash Royale GiantGiant

Despite not considering myself as a Giant Beatdown player, ⅘ of my guide have included this dude!

This guy rocking loads of heath for just a cheap 5 elixir is your main card for pushing, allowing you to get damage.

Due to his cheap cost, plop him down in front of any big counter push allowing you to deal defestating damage, making this dude your win condition.

This is should be your mentality while playing this, defend and destroy.

Though counter pushes are great, with Sparky (a great investment card) you’re also able to build up massive pushes while clogging up the lane at the same time!

Clash Royale SparkySparky

The MVP of this deck, keeping your opponents on their toes, forcing them to pay attention to their placements or suffer Sparky best aspect of attack: Her slash damage.

Sparkynado is one of best defensive combos against ground assaults, blasting away almost ANY ground support troop with only a few exceptions!

Alone or behind a Giant, this card is DEADLY, bragging of the highest damage per shot in the game!

Clash Royale TornadoTornado

Be creative guys! This is the most versatile card in game so I’m not just going to sum it up with “just tornado Hogs to the king tower”!

Tornado is amazing with the many splash troops in this deck, allowing you to tornado everything together to get amazing value!

But it doesn’t stop their! Pair it with Sparky to pull troops that were meant to distract her next to your opponent’s tower to get 2 for 1 deal! I have won countless game with this strategy, because it really works!

Pull troops together offensively to get great value with just one Sparky blast or as simply stated before, activate your crown tower, this card provides tons of value in this deck.

Clash Royale Baby DragonBaby Dragon

People might call the Minion Horde the “Skill Horde” in higher arena, but not so much in Legendary Arena, because overleveled Minion Hordes are everywhere!

That’s why Baby Dragons here instead of Minion as this deck originally had. Baby Dragon gives a quick and easy way to roast and tank Minions, Bats, and Spear Goblins that are so often seen in this meta.

As well as a great barbecue, this Dragon is a great support for Giant-Sparky pushes, being more viable than Mega Minion because of his Splash damage.

Clash Royale Mega MinionMega Minion

The ideal defender loaded with DPS and Hit Points.

This dude behind a Giant and paired with a Baby Dragon is great combo because they cover each others weaknesses perfectly! When locked on the tower this dude can do work in just second, whipping out loads of damage!

Clash Royale PrincessPrincess

Shooting enemies from affair this, She’s not the ideal Giant/Sparky support but is just so good at defence, as well as baiting your opponents Log, allowing your Goblin Gang to be able to that much stronger!

She is a great starting move, able to support from almost any place on your side of the map!

This value making machine when paired with Tornado creates phenomenal combo, as she snipes away at enemy troops.

Clash Royale Goblin GangGoblin Gang

These Green guys are great at dealing so much damage in a short amount of time, but are so vulnerable to spells.

But once their spells have been used elsewhere these guys dominate behind a Giant cleaning up other swarm cards with ease due to their DPS.

These guys also work wonders for bait out spells, allowing your Sparky or Princess to have control.

But more importantly than that, these guys provide are a great Elite Barbarian killer when place in the center of the map to dodge those prediction Logs.

Clash Royale ZapZap

A key aspect to your Giant pushes, clearing an easy path through cheap swarm cards.

As simple as a card with is, it can be devastating if you don’t have it in hand as you make that one push.

Gameplay

1x Elixir:

I would not clarify this deck as spell bait, however keeping track of when your opponents uses their spells can make a very big difference.

Princess in the back or Goblin Gang at the bridge are good starting moves as you attempt to scout out your opponents spells.

The real beauty of this deck is that you can take advantage of your opponents cheap spell depending on what it is.

When they have Log, they are much weaker to Sparky, allowing you to get great defensive value.

When they have Zap, they are much weaker to Princess and Goblin Gang, which will offer both Offensive and Defensive value!

If your opponent plays a glass cannon in the back, always play Sparky in the back as they are probably trying to set up a push, in which case Sparky can get massive value and you’ll have a great counterpush opportunity.

Even if they don’t place anything in front of that glass cannon, Sparky will still get value, and become a threat they must waste elixir on afterwards.

Try to get value as much as can even if it means taking a little damage.

Being a beatdown deck, this means you trade Tower Hp – -> Elixir to use in you monster push during double elixir.

2x Elixir

Hopefully by now, you have gained the elixir advantage and are in a good position to snowball a massive push.

Against fellow tank decks, you’re going to want to wait for them to make their move, allowing you to get great value with Sparky-nado before going on the counter push.

Against other deck that don’t give great counter pushing opportunity, (X-bow, Mortar, Bait) it’s best that you slow roll a push from the back then to try to scrape up a counter push.

Matchups

Clash Royale GiantGolem Double Prince

Without a doubt, this deck is the most seen/overpowered deck in the current meta.

However, this deck can be a little problematic without a heavy spell.

Punishing them for placing an Elixir Collector is crucial in order to get damage and make sure they don’t get the Elixir advantage.

Giant + Mega Minion is a great combo as it forces them to do one of two thing: Use Prince/Dark Prince to defend against your Giant allowing your Mega Minion to chip away at it or use Baby Dragon/Mega Minion + Tornado which can be easy be countered with a well timed Zap, allowing your Mega Minion to win the battle!

Once they have place Golem, spam Goblin Gang at the bridge to bait out their Spells or force them to waste Elixir.

Sparky in same lane along with Baby Dragon + Tornado will decimate there push if they’re not careful.

Clash Royale X-BowX-Bow:

You only Giant, Sparky, and Goblin Gang to tank so play wisely!

One of important tip in this matchup is save your Giant.

Giant is one of your only two good tanks for their X-bow, second being Sparky.

Goblin Gang is not worth using, only if they waste their Log. Do not play Princess reactively as it is only an immediate – 3 elixir trade due to X-bows long range

Sparky can cause quite the problem as X-bow is the only card in their deck that can take a blast from her! When paired with Giant and Baby Dragon, she has a clear path to victory with only Ice Spirit to reset her charge.

Sparky is also a good option in you are left without Giant as SparkNado will deal with X-bow and the distracting troops!

Clash Royale Dark PrinceBridge Spam:

Definitely the hardest match up.

Your bond to take some damage, but the counter push is what will allow you to deal some damage. Sparky, Goblin Gang and Mega Minion are great counters Battle Ram, however, you must save Goblin Gang for their Bandit or else she’ll get way to much damage.

If you have to Zap their push, make sure you have Tornado to pull away their Inferno Dragon, resetting its charge.

Well that all guys! I hope you like this off meta but well rounded deck and have as much success as I have!

That’s all – CowFTW

Clan Chest Will Be Removed In The Next Clash Royale Update

clan chest clash royale

In the upcoming April update, Supercell is removing the Clan Chest out of the game…

Hi all,

We just wanted to give you a heads up about our plans for the Clan Chest, so it doesn’t take you by surprise when the update arrives.

As you may have guessed from the title, we’re removing the Clan Chest from Clash Royale in the next update. However, all of the rewards that the Clan Chest gives will be pumped into another feature.

We built the new feature in a way that allows its rewards to grow bigger. Which means you’ll initially see less rewards, but through playing well and actively, you can get a lot more than what the biggest Clan Chest offered.

Before we add more features to the game, we always like to sanity check our current feature list to make sure everything is still as good as it should be. We know we can’t simply keep adding and adding, because the UI alone will become cluttered at some point, so we like to trim back when/where it makes sense to do so, while we add new and better features to replace or improve upon what we’re removing.

With the Clan Chest specifically, we feel like it’s become less cool than it was originally, simply due to it being in the game for a while now and perhaps seeing some “feature fatigue.” We think Clan Chests are completed more passively nowadays, compared to them being more of an actual event, as they were initially.

We know the Clan Chest provides a good way to monitor activity levels within your Clan and see who’s still kicking around. Having this information is really important to running a successful Clan, so we’re making sure this kind of “activity check” is still possible without the Clan Chest – stay tuned for that!

See you in the Arena,
The Clash Royale Team

Personally I think it’s great to have a new reward system.

It’s like a new game changing feature which prevents players from losing interest.

Also, most players do not really care about the Clan Chest anymore since the rewards are kinda not worth it.

Last but not least, more rewards = more fun.

Is this good news… or bad news? Let’s discuss!

Inferno Dank Bait Deck

dark prince bait

Hey guys, HS is here to write another guide for you guys! This time, it’s about the Inferno Dank Bait deck.

dark prince bait

Clash Royale Dark PrinceClash Royale PrincessClash Royale Goblin BarrelClash Royale Goblin Gang
Clash Royale Inferno DragonClash Royale Ice SpiritClash Royale fireballClash Royale The Log

copy deck

Since I don’t have Magic Archer, I turned to other cards.

I tried to experiment with troll decks using the element of surprise, but no such luck. After days of messing around, I finally found a good card, the Dark Prince!

He was buffed, which made him pretty good!

With new dank Prince decks getting created, I decided to make one too, with my favorite cards, the Gob Barrel, Gang, and Princess(aka bait).

This deck works really well in Challenges and the Ebarb filled ladder, not sure about MA though, mostly because I haven’t the chance to test this against him. You could say the bait deck takes a “dark turn”(pun intended).

The Inferno Dank Bait Deck

Clash Royale Dark PrinceDark Prince

I already said I think he is good, didn’t I?

The recent balance changes buffed his hit speed and health, and most people decided to utilize it to max.

Honestly I never thought I would use DP in a bait deck, but here I am.

There used to be Knight in this spot, but since Knight got nerfed hard, I substituted him for DP. He performs a variety of roles in this deck.

He has splash dmg and decent health, which allows him to take down supports with ease(feel free to throw a Log if you think DP isn’t enough), while Inferno Dragon eliminates the tank.

He is excellent against three Musketeer pushes and bridge spam as well, due to his AOE.

If you are desperate, he can even tank with his health! I would say this guy is your core defense.

Clash Royale PrincessPrincess: What would a bait deck be without her?

She is the card that makes your deck work, meaning she is both defensive and offensive.

Some might frown at this card, as she can be killed by Arrows and Log, and only has DPS of 46.

All she is good at is sniping troops from a distance, and that doesn’t seem like much, right? But her annoying range means she can snipe the Tower, which always forces out a reaction from your opponent, preferably their small spell.

Even if it isn’t their spell, you can sabotage their plan and control the battle.

If they Log something else, she can easily take out glass cannons, serving as a defense card. To sum it up, she is beneficial to your deck, especially bait, no matter what.

Clash Royale Goblin BarrelGoblin Barrel: The win condition.

Although I just said it serves as the win condition, almost everything in this deck is a win condition, so you don’t have to solely rely on it for chip damage.

A Dark Prince, Princess, Goblin Gang, even Ice Spirit can do the job. But you’ll want to use this card always for offense, because using it on defense means just expensive Goblins, usually meaning negative trade.

And also, this card can deal way more damage than a Rocket if used correctly.

This deck is kind of like my last deck (X-Bow control), you have to bait out a certain spell, in this case their Log.

Use your baity cards to force them into using Log, or simply outcycle them, and throw your Barrel.

You can also punish them when they overcommit.

You don’t have to, but using a tank to soak up Tower damage is better than throwing it alone.

Clash Royale Goblin GangGoblin Gang: This card baits out their light spell, and if they waste their light spell this card can deal insane damage.

Sometimes people wonder why this card is even in the deck, and why not Guards?

That is because

  1. Sometimes they have multiple light spells to bait out and
  2. They have more damage and bait effect since Guards have shields.

This card is mostly used for defense against bridge spam troops, but just like any other card in this deck, this card can also be used to chip down the opponent’s Tower.

Clash Royale Inferno DragonInferno Dragon: Once a sorry excuse for a legendary, now a must-have in various decks!

The main reason would be the power to melt down literally anything for 1 less than Inferno Tower.

It uses the same mechanism of Inferno Tower, meaning it can dish out more than 1000 damage per second at max power, making him the perfect card for the tank killer slot! However, this comes with a catch.

When building up power, he can be zapped and resetted, which is very annoying.

This is when the power of Zap bait comes in. the opponent could Zap the Inferno Dragon, then Goblin Gang would do the job, and you could counterpush with a Goblin Barrel, while the opponent cannot do anything against it.

Now you know why I picked him over P.E.K.K.A or Mini P.E.K.K.A.

Anyway, use this card to kill any win condition, including Hog! Surprising, right? But I heard somewhere that if you time it right, the Inferno Dragon can kill Hog quickly, only allowing a hit off!

Clash Royale Ice SpiritIce Spirit/Ice Golem

You have to make a choice between the Ice combo.

Ice Spirit is cheaper than Ice Golem, making it a better cycle card. Ice Spirit can also Freeze troops COMPLETELY for 1.5 seconds and does small AOE damage, so it really pays itself.

As for the Ice Golem, this card pays itself too, by amazing health for 2 Elixir. The health makes him ideal for tanking for Inferno Dragon or Dark Prince, and it has a bigger splash radius than Ice Spirit.

Both are very amazing, but I personally prefer Ice Spirit since it is so cheap, and overall lowers the cost of the deck.

Clash Royale fireballFireball: The essential spell nowadays.

This spell is solely for eliminating glass cannons, such as the popular Three Musketeers and Minion Horde, maybe Magic Archer.

It is also possible to Fireball a Pump, but before you do that, make sure if their deck contains Three Musketeers or not.

Trust me, you don’t want to see a full Three Musketeers push.

Clash Royale The LogLog or Tornado: Another crossroads.

Log can completely kill Goblin Barrel, which makes your life much easier against Mirror matchups. It is also lighter than Tornado and doesn’t take as much skill.

As for Tornado, this card can do a lot of things, depending on your skill.

For starters, if you have nado you are immune to Hog decks. You can easily activate your king Tower, or slow down and mess up their push completely.

For me, I would go for Log because it is lighter and easier to use.

General Gameplan

First minute: scout and defend.

Just like any other deck out there, you have to get a feel of your opponent’s deck and play accordingly. To achieve this, you could either wait out your opponent, or play passively first to save Elixir.

Here are some good starting plays:

  • Ice Spirit at the back
  • Princess at the back
  • Goblin Gang split
  • Goblin Barrel(trickster Barrel)

Every one of them except Ice Spirit draws out their light spell or a card.

Pay attention to what they use, since it gives you an idea of what they are using.

For example, if you spot a Battle Ram, you could assume that they are using Three Musketeers or bridge spam.

If you have successfully figured out which deck they are using, then change your playstyle.

There will be a short guide on how to face each popular deck below.

And get chip damage.

That’s about it.

No aggressive plays at this point, unless your opponent overcommits and you’re sure about it.

Just throw some Barrel to get chip damage in.

Middle game

This is the perfect time to get in some Goblin stabs, or any kind of chip damage.

Unlike beatdown decks, this deck excels in single Elixir because of how light this deck is.

By now you should have an idea of what your opponent is using. So cycle princesses and barrels to keep the chip damage in, and hold onto your Dark Prince, and be sure to control the match by Elixir leads, better hand(cycle certain cards to make the perfect counter hand), etc.

You would mostly get chip in by counterpushing, although Goblin Barrel is nice too.

In a single sentence, this time is equal to Double Elixir for beatdown, where you have to apply as much damage as possible.

Double Elixir:

Defend, and Fireball or Rocket cycle their towers.

Since this is Double Elixir, you can quickly recover your Elixir and set up a decent defense.

Make sure to get value spells by killing nearby troops and Tower together.

However, this doesn’t mean you can’t attack with troops! Unless they have two or more light spells, keep counterpushing and you’ll seize the win.

Matchups

Clash Royale Hog RiderHog Rider: Not as OP, but still usable.

I haven’t seen much of this card lately, and he really isn’t a problem for this deck, especially if you have Tornado instead of Log.

Hog can be easily taken down by Goblin Gang or Tornado, or even Knight and Ice Spirit, although this combo allows their Hog to get a few shots off.

Still, the remaining troops can be used for counterpush, and they will be at Elixir disadvantage.

And most Hog decks don’t use multiple light spells either, which makes it really easy to get damage through Goblin Barrel (just switch up placements from time to time).

Clash Royale GiantGiant Double Prince: Since the Prince buff, the Goison meta returned.

This card is seeing a lot of usage now, in both overleveled noob leagues to ultimate champion.

There are a few variations of this deck, which are:

  • Prince Giant, no Dark Prince
  • Prince Giant Miner
  • Double Prince Giant
  • Double Prince Giant RG
  • MA Goison

Those matchs can be rough somewhat, since they usually run Poison which is capable of melting your swarm Army in matter of seconds, and severely damage your Inferno Dragon.

Furthermore, if you aren’t paying attention, their Ewiz can stun your Inferno Dragon.

Never fear, with some good plays the table can be flipped.

Punish whenever you can, try to bait out their Log, and Fireball their glass Cannon to chip their Tower.

Unless Ewiz touches your Inferno Dragon, their Giant is good as dead. So don’t be cocky, and this won’t be that awful.

Clash Royale Dark PrinceMirror matchup

Usually they use Knight or Miner, even Royal Ghost in place of Dark Prince, and DP is the only reliable splash dmg in this slot, so you’ll have a bit of an advantage here.

Be sure to keep Log for gob Barrel, because even a hit from it can result in them cycling Rockets, which is the case you should try to avoid.

Use Princess and Dark Prince to clear swarms, Ice Spirit for cycle and side swarm clearance and always counterpush.

Clash Royale Three MusketeersThree Musketeers:

You can handle those in two ways: Fireball the Pump and nado the Musketeers together, and deal with the push with your remaining cards, or just Fireball two Musketeers.

The latter is safer, while the other is more rewarding somewhat because you prevent negative Elixir trades.

It is up to you.

Guys thanks for reading this almost 2000 words guide, really means a lot (maybe medium) to me.

Giant Skeleton Bait – Meta Crushing Deck

23

What up guys, Hybrid FTW here with my second guide on Clash.World.

Recently, I saw a video on CWA’s channel on a Giant Skelly bait deck.

This deck was actually getting 20 and numerous 12 wins by pros, and I knew I had to get a try.

I have gotten a few 12 wins and tons of other success battling clanmates, and haven’t stopped using it since.

royal giant analytics

Pros

  • Counters the current meta very well
  • Super fun to play
  • Strong defense

Cons

  • No very good Pump response
  • 2 legendary cards (both replaceable)
  • Requires a bit of practicing if you want to maximize the decks full potential.

The Giant Skeleton Bait Deck

Clash Royale Giant SkeletonGiant Skeleton

This is the card that makes the deck unique.

The Giant Skeleton isn’t the win condition of the deck, but rather your ground stop making him very strong vs beatdown decks.

Combined with the Tornado, he can fulminate 20 Elixir pushes in a matter of seconds.

Clash Royale Cannon CartCannon Cart: One is the most underrated cards in the game.

The Cannon Cart also has great DPS clearing out glass cannons and even one shots Gobbies.

When playing this deck, utilize that beautiful 5.5 tiles of range sniping badly placed front Goblin Huts and Princesses.

As an added bonus, the Cannon Cart will deal massive damage if he connects to the Tower unaccounted for.

Clash Royale Goblin GangGoblin Gang

These little fellas are here to bait your opponents Log/Zap.

The Goblin Gang is also great in shredding glass Cannons and whatnot.

Make sure to be careful to not play the gob Gang beside Princesses or behind you Barrel, because you don’t want them to get value from logs/Zap.

Clash Royale PrincessPrincess: The Princesses’ main roles in this deck are for baiting out Logs and to clearing swarms.

The Princess also synergizes incredibly well with the Tornado, clearing out swarms and other medium health troops stacked together.

Place the Princess as far away from the bridge to prevent other long ranged units from sniping her.

Clash Royale The LogThe Log: I’ve played the deck with both versions of Log and Zap.

The Log actually works a lot better rather than Zap in this deck because:

  • Versus opposing bait decks, They usually have a faster cycle and Zap will not kill the Goblins unlike The Log
  • Gets more value vs. double Prince decks, resetting the Princes charge and hitting whatever squishies may be behind the push.
  • Has more damage and better arena damage.

Clash Royale Goblin BarrelGoblin Barrel: The win condition of the deck.

Use the Barrel when you know their Log/Zap is out of cycle for hundreds of damage.

If you know they have the Tornado, throw the Barrel to on the right bottom corner to avoid king activation.

Clash Royale Spear GoblinsSpear Goblins: These little gobbies are so annoying!

Being only 2 Elixir, the Spear Goblins are perfect for pressuring and do a sizable amount of damage if left alone.

Being only 2 Elixir, you can use them to distract Princes and other heavy hitters.

Clash Royale TornadoTornado: One of the most unique cards in the game.

The Tornado is excellent at activating your king.

The Tornado is used to counter Hogs, Bandits, Swarms, etc you name it.

Use it to clump troops for your Princess to splash, or to drag troops towards their fate of the Giant Skeletons bomb.

Gameplan

Best starting moves:

  • Ice Spirit at the bridge
  • Spear Goblins at bridge
  • Princess at the back.

Like all other decks, try to recognize what deck your opponent is playing, making it much easier to gain control of the match.

Try to get as much chip damage as possible, for this deck is about constantly applying pressure with Spear Goblins, Barrels, etc.

Counterpush from whatever defense you have leftover from your opponent’s pushes, just don’t give them Log value.

Be aware of their every spell, light or big so you know when to push.

For example, don’t throw random Goblin Barrels when you aren’t sure or know they have Log.

Similarly, don’t drop multiple squishy units behind you Giant Skelly unless you know they don’t have spells in rotation.

Matchups

Clash Royale X-Bow2.9 X-Bow

A bit of a hard matchup.

The Giant Skelly does an excellent job at blowing up the X-Bow and supports, but you will have to keep up with their cycle and make sure he gets in range if the X-Bow.

Try to bait their Logs with Goblin Gangs and Princesses so you are clear to throw your Barrels, but they have such a fast cycle that they’ll almost always be able to Log them.

Clash Royale GolemGolem: Easy matchup.

Drop the Giant Skeleton right on top of the support and Tornado their whole push together to meet the fate of the Giant Skeletons bomb.

If they Log the Princess or Goblins, throw a Barrel straight at the Collector.

Don’t over commit on pushes if you don’t have enough for a basic defense..

Clash Royale Three MusketeersThree Musketeers: Easy matchup.

When dealing with the pumps, do the same thing as you would with a Golem matchup.

Tornado all the Muskies to one side, and incinerate their whole push with the Giant Skeleton and Tornado if needed.

Do all of these things, and your looking golden.

Clash Royale MinerMiner Hut Control

This matchup is pretty irritating, but not unbeatable.

Use Giant Skeleton vs there P.E.K.K.A/P.E.K.K.A support.

In early matches, use cheap units like Goblin gangs or Spear Goblins to defend their miners, but on 2x Elixir they will start using prediction poisons.

To avoid them getting value, just use Cannon Cart or Spear Goblins outside the Poison ring.

Clash Royale Hog RiderHog Cycle: I rarely encounter this matchup, but when I do, it’s barely even considered a match.

You have the best counter to the game, the Tornado.

Use whatever units you have left from defending on a counterpush as long as your not giving them Log value.

Clash Royale Dark PrinceBridge Spam: This match up isn’t to hard if played correctly.

Never, I repeat never, drop your Giant Skeleton just defending a single unit like Bandit or Royal Ghost because they will just rush the other side with Battle Ram+Dark Prince and you’ll pretty much be done for.

Clash Royale Goblin GangOpposing bait: This matchup just comes down to how’s the better bait player.

They will most likely have a faster cycle, so be ready with a Goblin Gang for their Barrel if Log is not in hand for it will even prevent all damage.

If you can, try to get some nice Log value if possible.

Yet Another Double Prince Zap Bait Deck [F2P Version]

83
prince bait

Howdy everybody!

For those of you who aren’t familiar with me (but I assume most of you are), I am Supermarine, and I have decided to bring to you folks here on Clash.World a Double Prince Zap Bait deck made by my friend CrazyJake01. He used this very deck to make it from 3300 (Hog Mountain) all the way to Arena 12 in a matter of weeks!

So, before y’all get too anxious, I’m just gonna get into this while I can.

Double Prince Zap Bait

Clash Royale PrincePrince

This lance-loving, tiny pony-riding, dashingly good-looking man is a very good card to have in a Zap Bait.

His charge deals huge damage on offense and defense, although he can have issues versus big tanks like P.E.K.K.A and Giant Skeleton.

He is also good bait for our Goblin Barrel, meaning that if they Zap Prince, then the Barreled Goblins can go in unhindered.

Clash Royale Dark PrinceDark Prince

The splash damaging counterpart of the gold-clad Prince, the Dark Prince is basically the opposite of what the Prince is.

Many people think he is trash, but after the Meta change, he has become a much more prominent card in the current scene of things.

His 360 splash when charging is great at helping the Prince where he is weak, and the Prince does the same for him.

Similar to Prince, this buckethead also provides good Zap Bait for your Barrel as well.

Overall, he is an all-around great card, and even more great in Zap Bait!

Clash Royale Goblin BarrelGoblin Barrel: Obviously, this is your win condition.

You can have different placements for this too.

If you want to get as much damage done as possible is a short time, then center placement is advised.

If you want to be able to juke out Arrows, The Log, or overleveled Zaps, then the side or deep placements are advised.

When using the side and deep placements, watch out for other things that the enemy may have, such as Ice Spirit, Goblin Gang, or Valkyrie.

Clash Royale Fire SpiritsFire Spirits: These poor little guys are barely experiencing any use these days, which is actually quite sad.

But, they represent well here in this deck (mainly because my friend doesn’t have Princess or Magic Archer).

They are great at swarm clear as well as for dealing that last bit of damage to that pesky tank you need down.

These three actually have the highest DPS out of any unit in the game, meaning the 300 or so damage they deal together (roughly 100 per Spirit) is inflicted almost instantaneously!

Clash Royale Dart GoblinDart Goblin

Coming to you with the wooden mask, the iconic blowgun, and many years worth of didgeridoo lessons, that’s right!

You know him, you love him (probably not), it’s the Dart Goblin!

He has one of the fastest fire rates in the game, and his damage is quite decent too. This means that he is able to tackle Princess, Mega Minion, and even the Punish Horde if placed right!

He also helps to bait out Arrows or Log as well, helping the Barrel even more when it comes to damaging spell counters!

Clash Royale ZapZap

Pretty self explanatory.

Kill swarms and reset Infernos with it.

Clash Royale Goblin GangGoblin Gang

Essentially the Clash Royale version of the Furious Five, these dudes are great for Zap and Log bait alike.

Their DPS isn’t to be taken lightly either, as they are definitely capable of taking on many mini tanks, as well as lower-health big tanks.

You can also split them in the back to invest Elixir and shape your hand to better arm yourself defensively.

Overall, a staple in any Bait deck!

Clash Royale Inferno TowerInferno Tower

The 5 Elixir Rare card you get at P.E.K.K.A’s Playhouse, this fiery building is great for defense against big tanks, especially P.E.K.K.A, which is on the rise.

However, be sure to protect it using cards such as Fire Spirits or Goblin Gang, as there will be people trying to take it out!

Whether that’s by using a preemptive swarm or a reset card, be sure to bait it out using Goblin Gang or Fire Spirits first, so it will have free reign throughout the Arena!

General Gameplay

3:00-1:00:

Get some good chip damage pushes in during this time.

This way, you decrease the time that your opponent has to attack. This is especially useful if they’re using Beatdown of any kind, as a chip push can turn into a big punish!

Doing pushes with individual Princes and Barrel is also quite wise, as it saves one Prince for a rush attack or for defense.

In terms of defense, save you Gang and IT for emergencies.

1:00-End

Get those Princes down!

Double Prince combo is key to your success here, and if you can add in Zap, Goblin Barrel, or Fire Spirits as well, the opponent will be in massive trouble!

Matchups:

Clash Royale GiantGiant

Always a relatively simple matchup to face, countering it is also relatively simple too.

Use the Inferno Tower in the center, and if there’s a swarm or reset card, use Goblin Gang or Fire Spirits to aid in the fight.

Clash Royale GolemGolem

Now, I understand that fighting Golem is NOBODY’S cup of tea.

However, Inferno Tower is the easy counter.

If this is one of those rare occasions where a Golem crosses the bridge and your IT isn’t in cycle (trust me, it was no fun when my friend was using this for the first time), put Prince behind your King Tower, so he can get a charge off on the Golem and deal significant damage.

A more efficient, but riskier option is to rush the other lane with Dark Prince+Goblin Barrel, then use Inferno Tower or Prince to defend.

Clash Royale P.E.K.K.AP.E.K.K.A: Inferno Tower or Prince+Goblin Gang is very efficient versus this robotic rabble rouser.

Use the Zap and Fire Spirits to deal with the support.

Dart Goblin also helps to whittle down the health of the P.E.K.K.A as well.

Clash Royale Lava HoundLava Hound: Inferno Tower is a wise decision (doesn’t everybody know that?) versus Hound.

Also use Dart Goblin on Pups if necessary

If fighting LavaLoon and you know so, prevent their push from coming by rushing the other lane with Dark Prince+Barrel.

Your air defense is poor, so watchout!

Clash Royale Royal GiantRoyal Giant: Use Inferno Tower.

Or, if you want to be able to counterpush, use Prince, then solidify the counterpush with Barrel and Fire Spirits (or use Dart Goblin).

Use Gang or Dark Prince (let him charge, though) on any Elite Retards.

Clash Royale Hog RiderHog Rider: Inferno Tower is a very wise counter to use versus the Hog.

However, you can use Goblin Gang or even Prince if he gets a charge off.

When using a Gang or Prince, be sure to establish a counterpush.

Also, do NOT let them outcycle you, otherwise you may not have the right cards in rotation for the right pushes!

Clash Royale Three Musketeers3M: Without the standard issue Rocket, 3M actually becomes a problem, so don’t treat these three ladies as a joke.

What you need to do is when they deploy the Muskets, place Prince same lane just as they’re about to cross the bridge.

This allows the Arena Tower to provide valuable support to aid the Prince.

If they use Log to stop the charge, then use Dart Goblin. Counterpush if possible.

Versus Pumps, use Dark Prince on the Tower and Barrel on the Collector.

Clash Royale GraveyardGraveyard

Dark Prince and Dart Goblin are great counters to the Graveyard.

Versus Graveyard Poison, use Dark Prince, as DG will not survive Poison.

Versus Graveyard Freeze, use Dark Prince to bait Freeze, then once it comes, Zap the Skeletons out, then Dart Goblin for best results and a neutral trade!

Clash Royale X-BowSiege: Prince and Inferno Tower are your best counters to siege structures.

When using Inferno Tower, be very careful of reset cards like Ice Spirit, and preemptive swarms such as Bats, Goblins or even Archers.

If necessary, you can also use Fire Spirits to get that last bit of damage done to a structure to prevent unnecessary damage to your Tower.

Clash Royale MinerMiner Poison: One of the hardest matchups, as none of our good Miner blockers can survive a Poison.

Dark Prince is a good Miner Blocker when Poison is out, but versus lone Miners, he isn’t, as his use will put you at an Elixir disadvantage.

So use Dart Goblin versus lone Miners (make him keep his distance) and DP to counter Miner Poison.

Use Inferno Tower if necessary, and counterpush whenever you can.

Clash Royale Goblin GangSpell Bait: Use your Zap, Fire Spirits and Gang wisely!

Use the Fire Spirits on the Barrel, and use Zap, DP, or Gang on anything else.

Counterpush whenever you can.

Also be sure to use Double Prince combo often, as the Inferno Tower can get easily overrrun by the Princes if Zap is used.

Versus Tornado Bait, be sure to place the Prince in the BACK if using Double Prince.

This means that the Dark Prince will be pulled to the King Tower, but the Prince will not! This makes taking the Tower much easier!

Clash Royale Mega KnightMega Knight: Like with other tanks, Inferno Tower and Prince are great options.

Dark Prince is also generally good too, as it allows troops like Gang to strike MK while DP tanks.

If they place MK in the back, rush the other lane with Dart Goblin+Barrel.

It may not seem like much, but it can deal over 1,000 Tower damage if left ignored, so they’re gonna have to respond to it. This allows you to (possibly) kill the lone MK, if it is alone.

Crazy 2.4 Miner Dart Goblin Chip Deck That Actually Works

86

Hey guys, it’s NebulaNoodle with another awesome deck guide for you guys.

Sorry that I haven’t been posting lately; but as it’s Easter holiday now I’ll try to write a few more guides.

Today I’m showing you a crazy Miner Dart Goblin deck which I tried out with friends with lots of success.

Surgical Goblin went 20-0 in the League Championship with a deck similar to this, but 2.3 elixir (do check it out!)

This deck really revolves around good skill, positive elixir trades, and smart offensive and defensive tactics.

dart miner

Clash Royale Dart GoblinClash Royale MinerClash Royale Ice GolemClash Royale Ice Spirit

mortar rocket analytics

Pros:

  • Extremely fast cycle
  • Annoying to deal with
  • Possible to cycle defenses very quickly if right placements and macro plays made
  • Great synergies.

Cons:

  • Very high skill cap
  • Struggles vs Golem, Mortar bait decks especially
  • Takes lots of practice!

Miner Dart Deck

Clash Royale MinerMiner: Obviously, your win condition of the deck.

Use him as a starting play in the anti-Tornado spot and on counterpushing with Skeletons, Ice Spirit, and/or Dart Goblin.

Don’t be afraid to use Miner on defense against almost dead Princes, Mini P.E.K.K.As, or any other threat card about to hit your Tower.

Know when to use him in the right circumstances; don’t overcommit especially with Miner quick-pushes or else you will get punished and you can do nothing about it.

Clash Royale Dart GoblinDart Goblin: In my eyes one of the most important cards in this deck.

Try to keep him alive for as long as possible by blocking with Ice Golem, Ice Spirit, or Skeletons. You can turn that into a counterpush later.

He has insane range, so you can place him in the opposite lane as well to defend, then you can attack opposite lane potentially!

Use him for chip damage on the bridge, he can deal pretty good damage to a Tower if the opponent can’t respond to him quickly enough.

He is your only real air defense so cycle him quickly with Ice Spirit, Skeletons, and Ice Golem if opponent Logs/Arrows.

The good thing is that Balloon cycle is out of meta, which would be very hard to deal with, having only one air defense troop, and Poison isn’t great vs Balloon.

It’s slightly easier to deal with Lavaloon because you can cycle Dart Gobs very quickly to melt the Hound and tornado the Loon to king, hopefully not letting the Balloon even hit the tower once. (To see how to do this watch this video)

Clash Royale Ice GolemIce Golem: The Ice Golem is extremely important in this deck.

He is your only real tank on defense and will be used to kite Mega Minions away from Golem pushes, kill Princes with the help of Ice Spirit or Skeletons, and make positive Elixir trades.

Kills Lumberjacks, Royal Ghosts, and Mini P.E.K.K.As as well! With Dart Goblin can kill E-Barbarians.

Ice Golem and Dart Goblin is a strong offensive combo if your opponent is caught off guard, and for 2 Elixir the Ice Golem is extremely good in this deck, as well as keeping the Elixir cost low!

Cycle him in the back for a passive opening move.

Clash Royale Ice SpiritIce Spirit: The Ice Spirit will be used to distract, Freeze, and kite.

Combined with Dart Goblin the two can deal massive damage together. For one Elixir this card adds great utility to the deck and cycling ability.

If using with Miner on offense, send the Miner right before the Ice Spirit is going to hit the Tower so the Miner can deal maximum damage. (Top tip!)

You can actually combine Ice Spirit with Tornado to get an Executioner to activate the king! (You don’t need Ice Spirit for this but it is just to minimise damage on your crown Tower.)

Clash Royale SkeletonSkeletons: Pretty much same role as Ice Spirit.

Can kill Lumberjacks (with Ice Spirit) and Mini P.E.K.K.As.

Send in mini-pushes like Miner and Skeletons.

This card is so good because no one really wants to Zap or Log Skeletons (at risk of a negative trade.), so they are forced to use another card.

Can also be used to kite air support troops (works best with Mega Minion) away from a Lava Hound, Giant, or Golem push. This way you can use the Tornado to activate the King to maximum effect and tank and spank with Ice Golem+Dart Goblin/Skeletons.

Clash Royale TornadoTornado:

In my eyes Tornado is an extremely valuable card in this meta.

Can be used to activate the king. Works with Valkyries, Knights, Hogs, Giants, Balloons (just make sure you don’t take too much damage), Golems, E-Wiz, Executioner, Royal Ghost, and more!

Combined with Ice Spirit, Tornado is very powerful. Tornado can be also used to clump troops back into Poison AoE.

Clash Royale PoisonPoison:

Poison is a very powerful card, in my opinion the best mid-high damage spell right now in the meta.

We see it everywhere, from Golem decks to Giant decks to Miner and Hog decks.

Here we use it as a support spell and also for nice chip damage. In single Elixir it’s best to stay conservative and only use it as a reactive card as opposed to with Miner.

Feel free to swap with Fireball or Rocket, if you want better air defense, but you will lose the great Poison synergy with Miner.

Use against glass cannons, Pump, the like. It’s also easy to cycle Poison near end of match in Double Elixir due to great cycling ability.

Clash Royale The LogLog: Finally, the Log- one of my favorite legendaries!

Can be used as a prediction against squishies when doing front-Tower Miner placements.

Get value logs and chip away at the Tower.

In Double Elixir don’t be afraid to Log cycle the Tower, as you can cycle quickly and the opponent can’t punish (remember you have Tornado for swarms too.)

Always Tornado the first Barrel to king and Log the rest of the barrels. Just Poison off princesses if facing bait. You’ll get nice chip damage too.

Another value, value card in this deck!

Gameplay

1x Elixir:

In single Elixir you will ideally wanting to be settling into your cycle, feeling out your opponent’s deck, and sending in occasional miners and defending well with smart combos and plays.

Good opening plays would be a Miner to the Tower (don’t support it, figure out your opponent’s counter instead), Ice Golem/Skeletons at the back, Ice Spirit at the bridge, or just Log cycle the Tower.

Send in little chip damage plays, for example Ice Spirit and Dart Goblin if the opponent only has Zap as a small spell (common in Golem/Giant Double Prince, or Giant Prince bait.)

Try to avoid as much of your opponent’s chip damage, for example block a Goblin Gang or Fire Spirits, because you might struggle with damage in many matchups, for example vs X-Bow where you will usually have to place Miner on the X-Bow whilst using Ice Golem to tank, so remember to always get value off Poison and whenever you can, hit the Tower with the Poison.

2x Elixir:

In challenges you really shouldn’t worry about the time.

You have got to be patient or else you will get punished with a monster snowball push.

Look for an opening, whether your opponent is low on Elixir or he/she makes a mistake.

Even if you have the opponent’s Tower to 2000 at this point you can still chip away, and anyway you are looking to get the 1-0 win.

Keep sending Miners and Logs. Ice Golem and Dart Goblin are your main defenders.

Use Tornado to clump up troops to an Ice Spirit or keep it inside Poison range.

Once the Tower is down to triple digits, Poison cycle and save your Miner for an extra defense.

Some matchups are tricky but this is your general gameplan.

Matchups

I will be going through the main meta decks in challenges, so hopefully this part will help you if you are struggling against these decks, and if you are thinking ‘OK, how the hell am I gonna defend Golem using this deck???!!!’ I will do the best I can to explain.

Clash Royale GiantGiant/Golem Double Prince

This is certainly the most overpowered and rampant combo in the entire game, on Ladder and Challenges.

Here’s my take on how to deal with this:

Against Giant version, be prepared for different variations, with EWiz, MM, bait cards like Spears and Gang (actually the most popular variant) or other potential support to Princes or Giant.

When you are faced with Giant Double Prince MM combo, kite Mega and Princes away to the other lane so it’s easier to deal with Giant.

Now pull Giant to the king with Tornado and place Dart Goblin right in front of the king (harder to spell off) to try to clean up the Princes and everything else.

Log to make sure the Princes don’t get a charge and distract all around with Ice Spirit and Skeletons.

Don’t worry about the Giant too much once it’s on the king.

After this first sequence just pull everything in range of three towers with Tornado.

Against Golem version, just basically do the same, just beware the Golem will be tanking for longer so if possible just keep kiting everything and pulling support away with Tornado and distracting with Ice Golem, whilst killing with Dart Goblin.

Clash Royale P.E.K.K.AP.E.K.K.A Zappies Goblin Hut:

P.E.K.K.A Hut Miner is not really popular in ladder, but it is still rampant in Challenges.

Poison their Huts and hit the Tower too. The most annoying thing is when the Spear Goblins start to stack up behind the P.E.K.K.A so get some nice Log value there.

If you know the range of Dart Goblin (6.5 tiles!) you can snipe their Hut from across the river if they place their Hut in the wrong place.

In this matchup you will mainly have to Poison cycle and defend a lot, so possibly it’s best to play for a draw.

Minimize damage as they also have Poison, and will likely Poison cycle you out if you let too much damage slip!

Kite PEKKAs away from the lane with the lower health Tower, then both towers will be hitting the P.E.K.K.A.

Clash Royale Dark PrinceDark Prince Bandit Bait:

This is one of the new popular bait variants, this deck with no big spell though.

There are four main bait cards here (Barrel, Gang, Spears, Princess) and they will be continually pressuring you with Bandit+DP, and Barrels.

This deck is very offensive so defend well versus the bait cards with Logs and Tornadoes, and keep sending Miner and Poisons to keep them on their toes.

It will be easy to spell cycle them out as they only have Log as a damage spell, just remember to save Log for the Barrel to mitigate damage.

Clash Royale X-BowX-Bow Tesla w/ Fireball:

This is a pretty hard matchup because you only have one big unit to distract the X-Bow, and you will often find yourself cycling like crazy, wasting Elixir trying to distract the X-Bow.

You MUST place the Ice Golem in the opposite lane and Miner + Poison the X-Bow and Tesla, and possibly Archers and Skeletons (or Log them if you’d like to save P.

Don’t worry about their Ice Golem. Just focus on killing the X-Bow, and FAST.

If you really can’t get damage sit back, defend, and play it out for a draw.

Just make sure they can’t Fireball you out, and just don’t take too much X-Bow damage. Cycle your Ice Golems.

Conclusion

This is a really fun and crazy deck which at first glance might like stupid and unusable, but really it is extremely good if in the right hands of a skilled player.

You can get 12 win GC’s and do very well in it. This deck really has great potential. If you’re a fan of quick, cheap cycle decks this is the deck you’ve been waiting for. Once again I’m really sorry for not posting in a while, but I hope you enjoyed this guide.

Stay tuned for more guides! Neb signing off <3

The Deck

Clash Royale P.E.K.K.AP.E.K.K.A: A defensive and offensive beast.

It will wreck anything your opponent plays in its path. Use your spells and AOE troops to clear the way of those pesky Goblins and Skeletons.

Clash Royale Dark PrinceDark Prince: This guy has been very good in the current meta.

He is tanky and deals AOE damage. He can kill huge swarms with his charge. He will help clear a way for your P.E.K.K.A.

Clash Royale MinerMiner: Your win condition.

He can travel anywhere in the arena. He is also surprisingly good at defense. He will help chip at the Tower you want to take down.

Clash Royale PoisonPoison: Pairs well with P.E.K.K.A, and Miner.

Poison will slowly kill your opponents troops and towers. It will help 1 or 2 tap swarms meant to distract your P.E.K.K.A.

Clash Royale ZapZap: We all know how to use Zap.

Also pair with E-Wiz to kill Minions or Minion Hordes.

Clash Royale GuardsGuards: Very strong against Princes or Royal Ghosts.

They just are so strong defensively and can get chip damage if left alone.

Clash Royale Electro WizardElectro Wizard: Very helpful against those Inferno Towers or Inferno Dragons that just melt your P.E.K.K.A.

It will also help against Giant Sparky decks.

Clash Royale MinionsMinions: Air clean up.

For 3 Elixir they are very versatile and have pretty good DPS. I like them because P.E.K.K.A + Minions can do work, the P.E.K.K.A kills the tank, and the Minions clean up everything that is meant to kill your P.E.K.K.A.

All these substitutions work but I think this version of the deck is the best. So if you have all the cards at a good enough level then use this version. The only thing that might make it better is Log (but my Log is only lvl 1 and I’m at 4.1k).

General Gameplay

3:00-1:00

Like any control deck you should play it slow.

Leaking Elixir in the beginning because you have a bad hand is fine.

I don’t like playing the first move since I have each of these cards for a specific purpose and if you just cycle that card you might not have a counter.

For example if you start with a Miner and they defend, then Pump, then you have to Poison the Pump and they will probably 3 musk or something.

Or if you play Dark Prince in the back and they E-Barbarians opposite lane.

Last is if you E-Wiz in the back and they drop Sparky other lane -_-.

Find out their deck and only do a big push if they make a mistake or overcommit.

1:00-End

Now you really push.

You should know there deck by know.

Because there are so many possible decks to go against I will just give an overview.

You should be either, pushing to take the Tower with one huge push then defend till the end or, keep defending and just chip with Miner and poisons.

You should do whatever fits the scenario. Punish them on any mistake no matter how small.

Even if they accidentally Zap their Tower, drop a Dark Prince, Minions and Miner. Don’t let them take your Tower and try to allow minimal chip damage.

If you have to let a Ice Spirit get to your Tower every now and then because you don’t have a good card, fine.

But don’t try to Tower trade unless you know for sure you will lose the Tower.

Matchups

Clash Royale GolemGolem: Probably one of the easier matchups.

Miner their pumps and if they defend it well Poison. Don’t let them get a Elixir advantage on you.

When they drop a Golem, punish opposite lane. When the Golem crosses their arena Tower you can P.E.K.K.A in the back. Poison on defense and use Guards to soak up shots from glass cannons.

After the Golem explodes, play Dark Prince or Minions to clean up

Clash Royale P.E.K.K.AP.E.K.K.A:

Let them drop the P.E.K.K.A first.

If they drop it wait for it to come to your side then defend it and counter push.

You should play Guards right before their P.E.K.K.A targets yours. This should keep your P.E.K.K.A alive.

You have to wait until the supporting troops are targeting your P.E.K.K.A till you drop the Guards since they will probably have some sort of AOE troop.

Repeat until you take their Tower.

Clash Royale Three Musketeers3 Musk:

Miner their pumps and Poison or Zap if you can get value.

Save Zap and E wiz for the Minion Horde. P.E.K.K.A on the side they are pushing harder on.

For example if they have Ice Golem, Ram, and 1 musk on one lane, and 2 musks and Goblin Gang other lane, P.E.K.K.A the 1 musk lane, and Miner then Dark Prince on the 2 musks.

Play smart. You will have to be more aggressive closer to the end since they will be relentless if they are a good 3 musk player. Save Poison for the 3 musks if you can.

Clash Royale Mega KnightMega Knight: Probably easiest matchup.

In the first part you should use Guards on the MK to counter it perfectly.

Just P.E.K.K.A their MK and Dark Prince plus minion on the support.

Go P.E.K.K.A and Minions one lane for a push and if they MK on it, go Miner Dark Prince opposite lane.

Get good Poison and Miner value and you should win.

Clash Royale Goblin GangBait:

Try to punish early and take a Tower or draw it out until the end.

If you draw it out you should wait for them to try to Rocket cycle you, then go really aggressive.

Poison the Princess, Zap Barrel or Gang and use Dark Prince on the other.

Clash Royale Hog RiderHog:

P.E.K.K.A on the Hog when it gets to the end of the game and you can’t allow damage.

In the beginning use Guards or Dark Prince on the Hog.

Try to get a lot of quick Miner pushes down. If you defend well you will either draw, or win.

Clash Royale Lava Hound

Lava Hound:

Save e wiz and Minions for the Lava Hound.

I would P.E.K.K.A opposite lane if I see them drop Lava Hound.

I do this because if I went same lane their supporting troops would decimate my P.E.K.K.A then kill my Tower. This way they have to divert their Elixir to defend against my P.E.K.K.A.

Use a Dark Prince with the P.E.K.K.A then Poison on defense. You can also use Guards or Miner to tank against Lava pups.

Try to cycle quickly to get a lot of Minions and Electro wizards.

Clash Royale GiantGiant:

P.E.K.K.A on the Giant. Then use Dark Prince and Minions on support.

Treat it like a Golem deck.

You can Poison on defense if needed as well. Try to keep to their cycle and don’t overcommit on defense.

Clash Royale SparkySparky:

When Sparky crosses the bridge drop e wiz then immediate P.E.K.K.A on the Sparky.

Use Poison to clean up support swarms. Use Guards or Dark Prince to tank glass Cannon shots.

You could also drop Dark Prince or Guards to distract the Sparky then use P.E.K.K.A on the Giant and Dark Prince and Minions on the supporting troops.

Conclusion

Strong ladder deck

I’ve played it for a while and it seems quite consistent, I only really lose because of card levels

Once you master the deck it shouldn’t be hard to play. You will know what to do in every situation.

I like this deck because each card is crucial to the deck working. That is why it is hard to sub cards in and keep the deck working well.

Well, that’s another control deck from me, Heiny, peace out till next time.

Changing Lightning to Poison Gives Me Lots of Trophies

Hello clashers,

This is PSYCH0++ from Turkey, 39 years old, from clan The Sahabes. I am addicted to this awesome game like many others.

This game is full of strategy, timing and concentration. I used to be a good chess player in the past but now I’m happy to be a considerably good player in this game.

I have been struggling in Legendary Arena and Challenger I between 3800-4050 throphy. I was losing and winning but could not make my way to challenger II until I have changed just one card in my deck: Poison instead of Lightning!

Now I have 4320 trophy and I can make more progress.

poison push

Why do I choose Poison over Lightning

I was using lightning for a long time in my old deck:

Clash Royale Dark PrinceClash Royale BanditClash Royale Electro WizardClash Royale Mega KnightClash Royale TeslaClash Royale Fire SpiritsClash Royale Goblin GangClash Royale Lightning

However I realized that I struggled a lot to cycle my deck after each time using Lightning in the games (even in a very efective way).

Lightning is very good card and lots of fun to use.

lightning vs executionerI have level 7 Lightning and I could crash Wizard, Witch completely and leave Executioners with very small hitpoints with this level and sometimes waste a few of them together. It also damages Princess Tower 388 in ladder matches if its used around the Tower (which is close to rockets damage).

However my deck used to have 4.1 average Elixir with Lightning and it was not easy to cycle it by using Lightning; 6 elixirs.

I have lost many games against fast control and medium control decks because of lack of cycling my cards.

You have to use Lightning in single troops such as Wizards, Executioner, Witch but should not use over swarm cards such as Gobling Gang, Minion Horde because of negative Elixir trade.

I have Fire Spirits to destroy Minion Horde as a good air defense but when I dont have them in cycle or my Tesla Tower in defense then I was helpless, stuck against air attacks or swarm attacks.

Also in attacks there were not many combination without killing swarm units.

I was aware of this issue and found a great solution and gave up Lightning card and started using Poison. Now average Elixir of this deck is 3.9.

poison pushMy Poison is also level 7 and in the ladder matches it is even stronger than level 10 Fireball when used over towers or troops.

Now I am able to use Poison over swarm cards such as Skeleton Army, Gang, Minion Horde and so many others.

I have realized that Poison is more effective and versatile than Lightning:

  • Before pushing Bandit or Dark Prince to the bridge you can Poison front of your enemy Princess Tower, a little bit towards main Tower to the middle so that it includes swarm units that are mostly dropped there to distracy Prince or Bandit, then your way to Princess Tower could be clear and your Bandit or black Prince could engange to the Tower.
  • Lightning was so effective against the Pump, it completely destroys the Pump however you spend 6 elixirs to destroy enemy pumps while Poison does its mission very well and leaving barely enough time for the enemy Pump to produce just 1 Elixir not more (+1 Elixir trade), so its considerably as efective as Lightning with 4 elixirs.
  • You can Poison Hut and Princess Tower, Furnace and Princess Tower and it protects you 8 seconds and leave very less hitpoints in huts or furnaces.
  • Against 3 Musketeers, it does not destroy the Musketeers completely but leaves very less hitpoints that a Princess Tower can kill them by one hit. However if you have Log in your deck then push Musketeers back with Log and then they all will die. Against Graveyard Lightning is not an option but Poison is.
  • To destroy towers beware that you need 8 seconds while Lightning requires just 1-2 seconds or Fireball 3-4 seconds when the towers are left small hitpoints to be destroyed

My Deck

copy deck

Clash Royale BanditBandit:

With a decent level of Bandit you can even deal with an Executioner!

Wizard, E wiz, Ice wiz or Princess they are all welcome to my Bandit

As a tricky well-calculated move I use my Bandit to kill Wizards or Executioner who are behind the beatdown decks. Bandit kills Executioner easily when Executioner is locked to another troop.

In offense its effective with help of Fire Spirits behind.

Clash Royale Dark PrinceDark Prince:

When played in the middle of your area it lures all enemy troops and with help of Princess towers you can deal lots of swarm units or strong units with the help of Princess towers.

In offense its strong with its shield and splash power.

Sometimes use it in split push together with Bandit.

Clash Royale Electro WizardE Wiz:

Very good defense against Golem, Giant and Lava-Balloon decks with the help of well positioned Tesla Tower.

Locate your E.wiz other side of Tesla Tower as he can target Golem and Giant and will be safer for a long time.

E wiz is also your key card in offense when opponent has a Inferno Tower or Dragon!

Brilliant offence behind Dark Prince or Mega Knight.

Clash Royale Mega KnightMega Knight:

When opponent has a beatdown deck then you can split their win condition cards (Golem or Giant) from their support troops by targetting behind support troops then your Tesla Tower will handle the Golem or Giant itself.

Clash Royale TeslaTesla Tower:

Main great defensive building against Golem, P.E.K.K.A, Giant or Lava-Balloon decks.

Protect it from Minion Hordes or fire machine if necessary by using Fire Spirits or gobling Gang in front of the Tesla Tower.

Clash Royale Fire SpiritsFire Spirits:

Well timing and positioning would help you kill Minion Hordes, gangs, Bats, Skeleton Army.

With decent level of Fire Spirits you can even destroy an Electro wiz.

Clash Royale Goblin GangGoblin Gang:

Avoid the Log!

Use the Gang in the middle of your side to avoid Log when you defending. Distracting Inferno Dragon or Minion Hordes if you dont have Fire Spirits in hand or Poison.

Distract P.E.K.K.A, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Prince and such strong tanks.

Clash Royale PoisonPoison:

Poison swarm units in offence to clear out the attack corridor.

Poison pumps, Huts, Furnace together with a Princess Tower. Poison Minion Hordes, Graveyard. Poision all kind of wizards. Poision Princess to destroy your opponents game plan

General Gameplan:

Starting hand

If you don’t have Goblin Gang or Fire Spirits in hand then don’t start until your opponent starts.

If you have them then play splitting Goblin Gang or Fire Spirits behind your main Tower. You don’t have to wait until your opponent starts!

Then put Bandit or Prince just before less part of split units reaches then see how they counter. Then your opponent has to defend Bandit or Prince one side and they might forget about defending 3 gangs and you can give a cheap damage.

Don’t never use your Mega Knight unless your opponent sends strong troops with support units such as Elite Barbarians etc.

Don’t over push without seing your opponents all cards.

If you once give Elixir advantage to your opponent it could be difficult to attack & win you will rather have to defend in whole game not to lose.

Don’t forget that you are so strong in split push with this deck; whenever your opponent pushes from one side with a slow heavy tank then you can be effective from other side faster.

Against Giant & two Prince, do not push other side of Giant with a big push otherwise your opponent can go for your main Tower after destroying Princess Tower.

Defend Giant or Golem with Tesla and E.wiz and gangs and even Prince/Bandit then counter with a split push.

In Double Elixir time

Against beatdown decks, defend and then fast counter from other lane with your Bandit or black Prince.

If your opponent puts all his power one side behind his Golem or Giant then you will win by pushing from other lane with all your power.

Against Hog cycle hands, reserve your Tesla for the Hog.

Against fast cycle decks, defend well until Double Elixir time, then in last minute you can use Mega Knight from one side and push from other side by using Bandit and Prince and Fire Spirits.

Don’t be scared to take some damage with Goblin Barrel or smilar attack in last minute as you have Mega Knight in one side and Prince + Bandit + Fire Spirits on the other side if your opponent does not have a good tank killer then they are not able to defend all your attack even with an Inferno Tower.

New meta P.E.K.K.A, Hut, Ghost, Miner deck could be very difficult but use your Poison on Hut+Princess Tower, keep the Tesla for P.E.K.K.A and support with Gang or e.wiz. Use Gang or Fire Spirits against Miner. Use Prince against ghost and it can go for one hit to Princess Tower after killing ghost. Against this deck you slowly win by using Poison and some cheap damages by using Gang at the end.
