Hey, Nitrome95 here, and I’m so sorry for not posting in a while, I have been busy with school midterm studying. However, I decided that I needed a bit of break so I wanted to write this article (IKR, I’m such a nerd for writing articles for fun XD). So here it is, a half troll, half chip control deck that will definitely make your opponent feeling a bit salty after the match.
For 3 elixir, this guy is a beast who deserves to be in A- tier on the tier list. Great on defense to offer high point damage while being able to stay safely away from harm. He deals enormous amounts of chip damage regardless of the amount of hp he has, and is devastating with a tank. Really easy to get him to the tower with his fast move speed and long range.
For 3 elixir, this gal is so versatile that I’m surprised she isn’t in the meta. She gets guaranteed tower damage, causing your opponent to make awkward plays or else suffer hundreds of tower damage. On defense, she is similar to the dart goblin except she is used for splash defense.
Zap
Just don’t be stupid with your zap.
Furnace
ANOTHER annoying chip card. Place this guy down and watch as your opponent makes awkward plays to defend against it. Furnace is also great at pulling defensive targeting troops. In desperate situations, the furnace is great at taking down minion hordes. If you are having trouble facing tank decks or you want to play this almost like a bait deck, use the inferno.
Miner
Yup, another chip card (you guys are starting to get the theme, right?). Use it for chip damage and to tank for your other troops. Can be used on defense to take out princesses.
Your secondary tank for your troops. Use the frost nova to take down skarmy, minion horde (with zap). You can spank with this card against support units. Spanking is where you use a tank to absorb dps of support troops so that your high dps glass cannons can take the opponent’s troops down.
Minions
These guys are so good in the meta now. You can use these to spank with the ice golem, take out graveyard, or use offense with miner. Just be careful against splash damage. Wherever they are, they deal devastating amounts of damage. Can be replaced for minion horde if you want to play this more like a bait deck.
So why do you want to put your opponent in bad situations? So let’s say that your opponent’s hand is log, fireball, hog rider, and musketeer. You place your princess at the bridge, allowing your opponent to either log it or play the musketeer. If they log the princess, you can rush the opponent with dart goblin for chip damage. If they place the musketeer on the princess, simply place your ice golem and get ready for a counterpush. By putting your opponent in these awkward situations, you can quickly rush them when you know they don’t have the right cards to counter.
So now about chipping without overextending. As I have mentioned in several of my guides: DON’T GET GREEDY. It is sometimes tempting to fireball a musketeer to get tower damage, but DON’T. This deck can easily get overwhelmed by a big push, so you shouldn’t be making those plays unless you have a huge elixir lead. Instead, make your opponent do awkward plays so that they will never be able to form a strong push.
Defensive Strategy
Your standard defense will usually be furnace to pull the tank, dart goblin or princess against the wall to take out support. If needed, you can use a minion ice golem spank to help on support troops, or use both the princess and dart goblin for point and splash damage. IF so, make sure you spread out your defenses. Your troops are delicate and can easily be logged, arrowed, or fireballed.
As I mentioned before, you have to put your opponent in bad rotations so that their pushes are weaker.
Offensive Strategy
Generally, you will want to make makeshift pushes depending on your hand and your need. Here’s some examples.
Solo Dart Goblinor Princess – To quickly and cheaply put pressure on your opponent to react.
Dart Goblin Miner – Used as a quick tank for the dart goblin after defending
Dart Goblin Miner + Opposite Lane Princess – To put dual lane pressure on your opponent. Your opponent may make misplays because of the pressure.
Miner Fire Spirits – Quick damage if you have nothing else to send.
Miner Fireball – When the match is a stalemate and you need to slowly chip out your opponent.
Minions Miner – When your opponent doesn’t have AoE damage in hand.
Keep in mind that any of the pushes, except the second to last one, can use Ice Golem .
Defensive Matchups
Graveyard – 65% win rate. Dart goblin, princess, and ice golems are all ok counters, but not the best. Usually, you will have to pair one of these with zap. Just don’t let your opponent’s bowler plow through your delicate troops.
Hog Cycle/ Control – 85% win rate. Since dart goblin and princess have such long range, your opponent will not get much value out of a prediction fireball. Outchip your opponent in these matches and make sure you always have a furnace on the field.
Balloon Ice Golem – 60% win rate. You have a lot of tools to take down the balloon, such as princess, minions, and dart goblin. Make sure that your troops are safe from the death bomb radius.
Siege- 90% win rate. Such an easy matchup with this deck. Watch as your dart goblin easily chews at the xbow while your ice golem tanks. I have beaten much better players than me using siege because dart goblin is so good at anti-siege.
Conclusion
So what have we learned? Keep up the pressure and you can beat any deck. I will probably be extremely busy with midterms, so expect a big guide when I come back…the suspense….
This Giant Snowball Deck is suitable for any Arena from (4-8) and requires no Legendary or Epics. I’ve been using this deck since Arena 1, interchanging cards to fit the meta of the game. The idea this deck is to slowly build up troops from the back of the map, giving yourself a 15+ Elixir push. This deck offers a very aggressive push as well as good counters to most of the meta cards. This deck is very versatile and each defense can be easily converted to a huge counter attack.
Arena 4 Snowball Giant Deck
Minion – The Minion is an excellent card for 3 Elixir, very flexible and offers a great damage per second. The Minions is often underrated as it is often overlooked and not worth arrowing. Minions are a great counter against Valkyries, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Sparky, Princes and just about every other ground troops who ignore air units. In my pushes, I often follow the Minions up right after I place the Giant. The strategy is pretty self-explanatory and if the minions aren’t dealt with, it will do some serious damage.
Bomber – The Bomber is a great card and offers a great counter to the Barbarians as well as many other “squishy” troops. The Bomber offers a great value for a 3 elixir troop, dealing 318 Damage at level 9 per “Kobe” definitely, an excellent choice against Barbarians and any other Horde pushes. As well as a good defense, the Bomber is an excellent supporting card. When followed behind the Giant, the Bomber will clear out any troops trying to stop the giant and sometimes even damage the Crown Tower at the same time with its splash damage. The Bomber is a good choice as a starting card if the Musketeer isn’t in your hand as it can easily be turned into a push. As well as a good defense, the bomber is an excellent supporting card.
Fire Spirits – The Fire Spirits is one of my favorite card in this deck, for 2 Elixir it offers a good trading potential. Against cards such as the Minion Horde, Minions, Guards, Princess, Musketeers, Barbarian Hordes and Mini P.E.K.K.A. That being said, countering each troop varies on the placement of your Fire Spirits. For example, when countering a Musketeer, wait till she crosses the bridge, in the range of your crown tower and place the Spirits around the Musketeer. Another example with the Mini P.E.K.K.A, place your Fire Spirits in the center of your map and lure the Mini P.E.K.K.A into it. The damage from the Spirits in combination with your crown tower should be able to finish it off. Otherwise, the usage of the Fire Spirits is quite standard when up against cards like the Minion Horde etc. Now as for your offensive push, the Fire Spirits is an excellent card when it comes to protecting the giant. As your Giant crosses the bridge, launch your Fire Spirits right behind it. This allows the Fire Spirits to counter common defensive cards like the Minion Horde, Minions, Goblin, 1 elixir Skeletons etc.
Zap – As for your spell card in the deck, Zap offers a great value for the price of 2 Elixir. From being able to allow your troops half a second more to damage a tower to being able to reset cards such as the Sparky and Inferno tower (One of the weakness for Giant). Furthermore, the Zap also offers an excellent trade against cards such as the Minion Horde, Minions and allowing your tower to finish them off.
Musketeer – The Musketeer has a great range and deals a good amount of damage. It’s very effective when it comes to dealing with Air units as well as being a great support to the Giant. The Musketeer is most effective when trying to siege the second tower as it can be placed in the middle of the enemy’s map right behind the giant. With her range reaching the tower fast and dealing hundreds of damage at the same time. I usually start off the game with the Musketeer if it’s in my hand since it’s pretty slow and has a good range to defend or easily cycle to either the Valkyrie/Giant for a push.
Valkyrie – My favorite card in this deck, the Valkyrie is very versatile. From being able to wipe out everything from the middle of an enemy horde to being the second tank to this deck. The Valkyrie can easily stop an enemy push, very effective against Wizards, Witches, Musketeers, Ice Wizards, and every other supporting offensive card as you can imagine. I often save my Valkyrie for defense as it is super effective unless I have to counter a Building card. In which case, I will use it as a secondary tank to mess up the card cycle. The Valkyrie can also be used as a sweeper, paving the way for the giant against Barbarians.
Giant – The Giant, one of the most popular cards being used in the current meta right now. For 5 Elixir, the Giant offers a great amount of health and deals a good amount of damage against the crown towers. The Giant is the main card for pushing in this deck and it is usually followed by high DPS supporting cards from behind. The Giant can be placed at the back of the King Tower, giving you plenty of time to build up the elixir you need for the push. The supporting cards will vary based on what cards you encounter but I usually pair the giant with the minion along with the bomber. or Musketeer & Minion. The list of combos goes on but it’s usually best to bring a card that offers splash and a high DPS. This strategy is most effective during the 2x Elixir as it gives you the opportunity to stack up a lot of supporting cards. At times you’ll be able to find yourself stacking 2 of the same cards giving the name the “Snowball” deck. Once it reaches this stage, it will be very hard for the opponent to recover and a good opportunity to go for the 3 crowns.
Inferno Tower – The Inferno tower is a great defense structure that helps significantly with this combination. It’s a great counter to popular cards such as the Giant, Royal Giant, P.E.K.K.A, Golem, Giant Skeleton. When defending the Royal G, things can get a bit tricky as you have to wait for the giant to get in range of the tower before you place it. Timing is key on this one. The Inferno has a good amount of Hp, allowing it to clean up the remaining supporting cards followed behind the giant. Value!
Weaknesses:
The Giant is very vulnerable to Mini P.E.K.K.A’s as it’s damage is deadly. It is recommended to counter this with Minions, killing the P.E.K.K.A asap. The Ice Wizards also makes the push quite difficult as it slows everything down, so it would be wise to space out the supporting troops according to the giant so they can take out the Ice Wizard, without being in its effect. Another weakness would be a Fireball, but as long as it doesn’t kill your supporting troops the push is fine.
Things to note:
When besieging the second tower, try to build up the supporting troops from the back of the King Tower without the Giant. When your troops reach the bridge, place the giant in the middle of the map, soaking damage from both the Crown Towers and splitting up the enemy’s defensive force. Pinsir Attack!
If you have a Princess, you can try swap it out for the bomber. (Since I don’t have it I can’t try it out ;-; but it could be a good combination)
Zap can be interchangeable with Fireball, Arrow, and poison. Whichever fits your needs. (I tried Log but it leaves you vulnerable to air units :<)
My username is Jien ~ hope this deck brings you as much success as it has for me. And keep on clashing!

This is the review I wrote a long time ago, the first days when the game released
Clash Royale was introduced by Supercell, the creator of Clash of Clans, on 4th January 2016. This game is made based on not only Clash characters but also lots of new members. Collector and upgrade your favorite cards and upgrade them to defeat your opponent and get higher in Arenas. At the moment, there are 58 cards in total (Troops, Spells and Defensive Buildings), which brings into the game tons of strategies. Obviously Supercell is going to release lots of new cards in the upcoming Clash Royale update. Not only that, you can either join or create your own Clan, recruit members, request and donate cards, launch Friendly Battles and your own Clan Tournament. Sounds interesting? Yes, because this is one of the best games ever!
We all are more or less mobile game addicts to some extent. These games come as saviors in long hours of boredom and provide just the right amount of entertainment when we need to kill time aimlessly. Clash Royale tops many of our lists of most-loved mobile games that we have spent hours on. The game is nothing short of a sensation, just like Clash of Clans. So, therefore, just like Clash of Clans, they will have a series of similar games which will be inspired by the original version. Though we are not saying it is a negative matter, since the tactics of the game as well as the combinations of the genres that they have used in the game is very suitable for a mobile game.
Since we are attempting to provide you with a wholesome review, we are assuming that it just be that this is the first time that you are hearing about Clash Royale. So we can describe it as a card game and we will make it very easy for you to understand that. Let us describe it in a very simple manner. Your card will just represent real-time strategy units which are game-like in nature. So these units will be dropped on the MOBA-ish battlefields which have multiple lanes as well as two towers along with a base. You need to defend your own and attack them too simultaneously. We can understand that it might sound complicated to you, but as far as Clash Royale is concerned you do not need to have any knowledge of card games or MOBAs or even RTS games or even the emergent strategies pertaining to any if the genres, since everything has been channelized in a very accurate manner.
If you want it to be explained further, let us give you the example of Hearthstone. In that game, the players have to collect numerous cards which are scattered across many classes which are, in turn, employed in a thirty card deck. Even if you have never played such a game, consult the Hearthstone tutorial. The game Magic has sixty cards which are more difficult to manage than the thirty cards.
Relatively in Clash Royale, the players get to choose eight from about a dozen cards in order to build a deck. You need to tactfully unlock the tiers of cards available. The RTS, as well as the MOBA elements, are broken down into simple terms. The success of the game depends on the speed with which you can arrange the units not how cleverly. All you have to do is to drag the cards from your hand which brings the card’s unit to the battlefield. You have to be careful about positioning the units since some of them might want to target structures while the other units might hit the thing that is closest to them. The casting cost attached to the cards increase with power level but if managed properly, the costly cards can be countered by the ones which are cheap and employed at the right time.
One of the first Epic card of the game is the Prince which costs about 5 Elixir to play and then it will move towards the closest unit. So a typical game of Clash Royale will need you to choose your eight cards which will probably come together with the aid of some strategy along with answers to some of the threats that you can be subjected to. You have to search for an opponent who preferably has the same level of the trophy as you, then dump out the cards and knock down a number of their crown towers as well as defending your own at the same time. The final step would be to demolish your opponent’s prime King Tower. There are other obstacles like the leveling-up system that is applicable for both the player as well as the separate cards. When you upgrade a card, you always get awarded a “King Level” which renders your in-game towers more powerful and will bestow you with more hit points. The mire you gain access to the cards, the more the complications arise. Just like Clash of Clans, you can join clans too but it will only increase the hurdles. Up to fifty players have the option to band up together in order to donate a number of cards to each other. The rank that you have possessed against your enemies is dependent on the number of trophies that you have collected.
Also, if you want to see what the look of a top-tier play is, Clash Royale has a collection of replays that they have which is called “Royale TV”. This is a great feature since it enables you to take note of the cards that are in use, but you do not have them yet. Also, you might not have thought of strategies for the cards that you already possess. It is highly likely that you see players in Royale TV who have spent hordes of money on the game, but let us tell you that it is totally natural. If you are a free-to-play player, the things that you see can be super beneficial. Royale TV has been updated a few times now to show players the best matches in game but I think there will be a very big Clash Royale update for this feature soon!
The ardent fans of Clash Royale will tell you that there is hardly a thing that you will not love about the game. You can play the game for weeks without spending a buck. Supercell has released a few new cards so you do not need to worry about the stagnating card pool. So you can look forward to the schedule they prepare when there is new content. This game is a wonderful hybrid of card games, MOBAs as well as strategy games. It is one of the top apps which comes absolutely free and has steadily climbed to the top of the charts raking in huge profits. This style of playing games has become very popular and can be thoroughly enjoyed.
Clash Royale is truly an outstanding video game. Hopefully Supercell will release lots of great update for Clash Royale in the future to keep the game fresh.
Okay guys hopefully you have found this Clash Royale Update page helpful. Don’t hesitate to comment If you have any advice or question!
Okay guys so finally the Clash Royale September Update is here! The update is going to be released next a few hours!
Clash Royale was extremely popular after the global release in March 2016. I hate to say this, but since the last few updates, the excitement has been fading. Lots of players have been saying that the game is dying. Luckily, Supercell have been working hard on some big plans to fix the game since couples of weeks ago: August 24th update for game balance changes and August 28th Update to fix the trophy system in game. Some other big ones are coming soon!
Clash Royale September Update

New achievements for the new Tournament Challenge mode.
…
My thoughts a few weeks before the update revealed
A big update to Tournaments and cheaters (wintraders) will be released in September. Tournaments are a stunning idea from Supercell but currently they are fully of cheaters (wintraders) which can easily win every single game. Also, the smallest Tournament costs $5 to start, which is too much for most players, making it hard to find a decent Tournament to join these days. I read a great idea couples of days ago on the forum, which said Supercell should allow players to host Tournaments with Gold because basically can be bought with Gem. Hopefully Supercell would pay attention at this great idea. Also, in my humble opinion, Tournaments should cost a minimum of $1 to start.
Supercell said they would make Legendary cards much easier to obtain. I don’t really believe this until I see it because Legendary cards are their cash-cow. A change will be surely made, but not really big.
Tim[Supercell], one of the main Supercell employees confirmed on the forum that there would be a big change coming to the Training Camp. At the moment, AI is so bad as you can win any battle against AI without even thinking. Training Camp is made for players to test their decks and skills but hands down it is totally useless now. Hopefully Supercell will improve the AI in game much better!
Hands down Clash Royale is one of the most addicting and most popular mobiles games these days. Although the competitive nature of the game makes it both good and bad, but some big changes need to be made. Having that said, here are some big changes which will hopefully be in the upcoming September update from Supercell. Recently Supercell confirmed that there would be some major changes coming soon in Clash Royale in mid September. Till now, some of them have been revealed. Let’s take a closer look at the bigi upcoming Clash Royale September Update guys!
Normally, Superecell release at least one big update each for the game every month, adding new troops and features. The most awesome feature is the Tournament mode, unfortunately it is totally broken ’cause it costs too much money for casual players to host one. Its huge potential can’t be fully used at the moment.
Heading into the game, after playing couples of weeks, players will find it pretty hard to upgrade cards due to the Gold costs, unless players spend at least dozens of bucks.
Another problem is, in Clash Royale, using Legendary cards can help you win the battles much easier due to the huge advantages they offer. Tons of players have spent hundreds of Dollars to get Legendary cards. You will find it extremely hard (or nearly impossible) to get a Legendary unless you are super lucky. This is a free-to-play game but many players have been thinking about it as a pay-to-win game because of those Legendary cards. Luckily, in the last update, Supercell released a great balance change update to nerf lots of Legendary cards, making them much weaker than before. This is something the community wanting for months.
Anyway, long story short, Clash Royale takes strategy and skill to win. A small mistake can ruin the whole battle. You can’t win the game If you are not good enough. If you are skillful enough to get into the Legendary Arena, you can easily get Legendary cards from Shop in game by spending 40k Gold for each. If you are a free-to-play player, no worries about this amount of Gold, you can easily save up by donating cards for your friends and getting the daily Gold bonus.
Hello guys, today let’s talk about Tankers, the indispensable part of Clash Royale. Their generous amounts of HP allow them to soak tons of damage while dealing deadly hits to the opponents. However, some Tankers are not jut for soaking damage and protecting others. Today, let’s discuss about them guys! Hopefully this guide will help new players an easy way to approach the game!
At Tournament levels, Giant has the second highest HP in game, just below Golem. His HP-per-Elixir cost is excellent. Giant also offers an insane DPS (162 Damage per second), making him catastrophic whenever he makes it to the Tower.
Due to his pretty cheap cost, he is much more versatile than other tanks. Giant Poison has been becoming extremely popular at the moment (defend then counter-push with survived troops + Giant + Poison). However, sometimes you should place the Giant at the back, behind the King’s Tower, to build up Elixir for the strong push, when you have to attack first and don’t have any high HP survived troops.
Sometimes, you are in the emergency situation that lots of troops are coming down to your Tower, you can defend with Giant by placing him in the right place to soak all the damage and lure the opponents to the other direction. Then, use a high DPS troop to kill all those following troops.

The Giant Skeleton could be the worst tank of the current game meta. Most players use him exclusively for defense. With the “pretty good” HP-per-Elixir cost but very very bad damage-per-Elixir cost, we remember sp00ky just because of his death damage, which can take out most troops in game (957 damage at level 4).
He is excellent against slow pushes. He easily wipes out any slow push and forces the opponent to do split push.
Depending on the troops you are going to deal with, you can place him in numerous places on defense. For example, If you want to kill Wizard + Musketeer following a Giant, place your Giant Skeleton right in front of the Giant. After killing the Giant Skeleton, they will keep moving forward and get killed by the dropped bomb a few seconds later. If you want to kill melee troops, place your Giant Skeleton between the tank and the following support troops. You can also easily use cheap troops (Goblins, Skeletons etc) to pull troops around to the bomb radius.
On offense, If he is your win condition, you should cover him with splash units to prevent distractions since he is single-target troop. Anyway, most players use Giant Skeleton on offense to soak damage, distract defensive troops while Miner/Goblin Barrel is dealing damage to the Tower.
If you want to counter Giant Skeleton, you should place your troop behind him because some good reasons:
To kill the support troops coming down to protect the Giant Skeleton.
Your support troops will have enough time to escape the bomb.
Your support troops lure the Giant away from your Tower.
The P.E.K.K.A is such a beast due to her extremely high DPS and high HP. She can easily destroy anything as long as she can reach them. Take the advantage of her 3s deploy time to build up a big push. Sometimes, you can even use her on defense to finish off Hog Rider, Prince… then launch the counterpush with her right after that.
She now can 1 hit Barbarian at respective level (level 4 P.E.K.K.A vs. level 9 Barbarians). Remember this and take advantage of it to your pushes.
Here are some great cards you can use to support the P.E.K.K.A: Wizard, Prince, Dark Prince, Witch, Three Musketeer… You should take a look at this page to see the best decks that evolve around the P.E.K.K.A

Lava Hound is definitely a very interesting card. Obviously it is not worth 7 Elixir at all If you can’t support it properly. The Lava Pups (coming out when the Lava Hound is destroyed) have the similar DPS to 3 Elixir Minions.
Lava Hound is the only flying tanker at the moment, which is immune to tank killers such as Mini P.E.K.K.A, Barbarians… This is its biggest strengths but also its weakness as its can’t soak damage from ground defenses for the following supports.
Baby Dragon, Balloon, Miner, Goblin Barrel and Lumberjacks are Lava Hound’s best companions. Baby Dragon can easily eliminate most counters and soak damage for Lava Pups. Balloon, Miner and Goblin Barrel can be fully protected and destroy the Tower quickly. Lumberjack gives Lava Pups the Rage effect which skyrockets their DPS. Etc.
Also, I strongly recommend coupling Lava Hound with troops which can tank for Pups after Lava Hound dies. When you use Lava Hound, try to place it at the corner so your opponents will find it hard to lure him to the middle, or they will even sometimes misplace the defensive buildings.
In the worst case, use Lava Hound to soak damage from Three Musketeers or Wizards!
Golem has the highest HP in lash Royale. Of course when left alone, he is not worth 8 Elixir, but If you can couple him with the right companion, he rocks!
Elixir Collector is very necessary in Golem decks due to Golem’s very high Elixir cost. Elixir Collector also helps players build up the Elixir advantage and “save” Elixir for a big push. Placing Golem down only in the x2 Elixir time or when you have 2 Elixir Collectors down. Poison is excellent when coupled with Golem.
Musketeer, Witch, Ice Spirit, Three Musketeer... are some of the best supports you can use with Golem. Please take a look at this page to see the best Golem decks.

The Royal Giant is probably the most hated card in Clash Royale. Am I right?
This is one of the most easy to play cards in the entire game and pretty hard to stop If you don’t have the right card in your hand (defensive buildings or tanker killer).
Royal Giant is excellent at chipping down Towers. You can take down a Tower with a few Royal Giant pushes, and then, simply drop the Royal Giant right at the middle to whittle the other one without being hit by the King’s Tower.
Hey guys it’s Ash, here to give you guys tips on getting legendary cards, the chances of getting one, and my take on what you should focus on as either a player who doesn’t want to spend money and those who are looking for tips on what the cheapest way of getting legendary cards is.
How to get Clash Royale Legendary Cards
So the question everyone keeps asking is, how do I get Legendary cards? Well there are three main ways:
You buy gems and use those gems to buy Super Magical Chests. So what are the chances of getting a Legendary card from opening a Super Magical Chest? Well I’ve done some research by compiling data from over 100 super magical chest openings from players in Arena 9 from the recent update, and I’ve found that the chances of obtaining 1 of the 5 Legendary cards from a single Super Magical Chest is about 40%, which is actually much higher than it used to be. Buying a Super Magical Chest is quite expensive, costing 4600 gems in Arena 9. But it definitely gives greater value than Giant or Magical Chest and has a much higher chance of getting a Legendary Card. So with about $100, you can buy 3 Super Magical Chests from Arena 9. So statistically speaking, there’s about a 78% chance that you’re going to get 1 Legendary card out of the 3 Super Magical Chests, while about a 22% chance that you won’t get any.
The last way of obtaining Legendary cards is basically pure luck. However, the chances of finding a Legendary card inside free chests, crown chests, silver or gold chests increases dramatically as you move up in Arenas. For instance, the only Legendary Card that can be unlocked at Arena 4 is the Lava Hound, while if you’ve made it to Arena 6, then the chances of finding a Legendary card is 4 times more likely because now you can unlock the Sparky, Miner, Ice Wizard, and Lava Hound. So it’s very important that you put a lot of effort into moving up in Arenas. Not only that, moving up in Arenas also benefit you by providing you with more Gold inside your chests, higher victory gold rewards, ability to request and donate more. For example, at Arena 9 you can donate up to 8 Common cards at once, while at Arena 6, you can only donate 4 Common cards at once. At Arena 6, you can request for 20 Common cards or 2 rare cards every 8 hours, but at Arena 9, it’s double, you can request for 40 Common cards or 4 rare cards. Not only that you also get a lot more cards and more gold from free chests, gold or silver chests, and crown chests. so you’ll be progressing much faster if you focus on getting to Legendary Arena. Usually the minimum level you have to be right to get to legendary arena is level 8. Currently there are thousands of level 8 players in the world who are in legendary arena. And if you’re wondering what types of decks are great for getting to Arena 9, well I’ve been tracking a lot of these level 8 players in Legendary Arena, and the majority of them use a deck based around the Hog Rider. But I’d say Royal Giant is also another very good option right now.
Koloshow got 3 Legendary Cards in just 2 days!
Also, make sure you’re opening your Free Chest and Crown Chests every day, because they can give you gems. You can make anywhere from 14 to 28 gems every day if you always open your Free Chests and Crown Chests on time. Then use those gems to buy gold and save that gold for a legendary card once you get to Arena 9 and find the one you want in the shop, because that’s the best value you’re going to get with your Gold.
Now you may wondering what the best Legendary cards are. Well every Legendary is in my opinion very good and grants you a lot more value than its cost. But I’ll give you guys my personal rankings of the legendary cards.
#2 is the Ice Wizard – The Ice Wizard is still the best Legendary on defense and offense. He doesn’t really do much damage, but his specialty is splash damage and the ability to slow down troops. And that ability is pretty insane in my opinion because that allows you to form powerful defense against some of the biggest threats in the game. He basically lessens the impact sustained by your Arena Towers, which in return allows you to form much more powerful counter pushes. I’ve seen some crazy achievements done with the Ice Wizard. For example, not too long ago a level 6 player made it to Legendary Arena with an Ice Wizard. While the current highest level 8 player in the world had surpassed 3800 trophies by using the Ice Wizard in his deck. So yea, incredible potential and versatility of this card while only costing 3 Elixir (which is 2 less than the normal Wizard), makes the Ice Wizard one of the best Legendary Cards.
#1 is the Princess – She is still very good in my opinion because of her incredible range, ability to do area damage, sometimes bait your opponent into using their Arrows, ability to defend from the other lane, ability to securely shoot down defensive buildings from your side of the map, ability to securely separate herself from your other troops that may be also weak to Arrows. There are just so many things she can do and can fit in almost any deck and only cost 3 Elixir, and so in my opinion she’s by far the best Legendary card.
#3 is Lumberjack. (or he should be #2?). Lumberjack is now seriously super useful. He can easily deal with lots of ground troops in tons of situations. With the insane DPS, he can take down a tank quickly and deal at least 1000 damage to the unprotected building. When coupled with Lava Hound, Giant, Hog Rider, Witch… Regardless of the damage he can deal by himself, the insane boost from the Rage Spell could be the game changing factor. Due to his very fast movement speed, sometimes the opponents get panic and don’t find the proper ways to deal with him.
#4 would have to be Sparky – Many people think Sparky is OP, and others believe that he’s not that hard to counter. But Sparky is definitely a card puts many players in a lot of pressure, especially when combined with a splash attacker like the Wizard or Ice Wizard or Princess, he becomes very annoying to deal with. He’s definitely a card that can help you move up in Arena 7 very quickly.
#4 is the Miner – I have the Miner ranked last just because i find that the other Legendaries just provide you with so much more potential for gaining trophies fast. This of course does not mean the Miner is a bad card, no he’s a Legendary for a reason. He only costs 3 Elixir and is basically a much better Knight with his ability to target a troop or building anywhere on the map. So he has a lot of potential both offensively and defensively. But if I had to choose between Princess or Miner, I would without a doubt go with the Princess.
#5 is the Lava Hound – The Lava Hound is a very powerful Legendary card when used properly in a proper deck. You guys can check my Lava Hound deck that I shared in a video a few days ago. That deck is definitely one of the decks that I’ve had a lot of consistent wins. However, the reason I have the Lava Hound ranked this low is because he’s expensive and unlike the Princess or Ice Wizard, the Lava Hound is not a versatile card, which means that you simply can’t use it in every deck. It requires a proper niche and a deck built around it. Not only that, it does poor damage, while becoming a big defensive liability against powerful ground troops like the Prince as your 7 Elixir Lava Hound will simply ignore the Prince as he charges onto your tower. And it takes a while for the Lava Hound to pop into Lava Pups.

So I hope guys found this to be informative. Be sure to subscribe to the YouTube channel great daily Clash Royale tips and content!
Golem, the most expensive unit in the game and also the highest tank in the game.
Placing this rock in the back of your king tower usually means that the other player will push the other lane. As an 8 elixir slow card, this card is definitely a card that is hard to use by some player.
And I’m here going to show you guys how to play this card as a winning condition to win you the game and not as a card that will lose you the game.
Clash Royale Golem
“Slow but durable, only attacks buildings. When destroyed, explosively splits into two Golemites and deals area damage!”
You can unlock the Golem from Arena 6.
The Golem is extremely powerful. He targets only buildings and ruptures into 2 Golemites upon death, also deal a small damage to all troops and buildings nearby.

So by basic analysis, we will think Golem as a:
Main tank
Semi damage dealer to opposing crown tower (need other troops assistance).
Semi splash tank.
Slow and expensive tank.
The reason why Golem is not played that much is mainly because Golem is an epic card that is too risky and also outclassed by Giant. Personally i think that Golem is way better than Giant, Why?
His death damage is absolutely helpful for extra damage and swarm clearance.
More reliable for pushing because this card has the best HP per Elixir ratio tank in the game if combined with the Golemite, also don’t forgot about his death damage.
Well this is basically my opinion and you don’t have to agree with mine. I was a Giant user when i was 3400-ish and then i found that my Giant deck that doesn’t use Lightning spell is hard countered by inferno. I was desperate and changed my level 7 Giant with my underleveled lvl 2 Golem. Guess what? It works way more than i expected and since that day i started to become a huge Golem fan.
To make a deck with Golem works you absolutely never place him in the back as a starting card because it is asking to be punished by a lot ( you will either defend the incoming enemy push or support your Golem in the back ).
The best partner with Golem in every Golem deck usually is either an Elixir collector or furnace. By having one of these two cards, you can play passively and make a positive Elixir trade in your side of arena. By doing that continuously until double Elixir time, you can start a huge push that cost way more than your opponent Elixir and win the game. Sounds easy right? Yeah, you just need to be patient.
Well this slotting technique doesn’t work at all times, but every beatdown deck that suits with this slot usually have a good deck composition.
After you have your own nice Golem deck, you can start by learning what is the job of each card in your deck and ask this question to yourself!
What is my main positive Elixir trade producer?
How can i do to make that positive Elixir trade at early minutes?
Is the troop on my deck synergizes each other well?
How can my deck deal with Swarm decks, Elite Barbarians, tanks, Miner/Hog, Spawner/Siege?
If your deck cannot answer some of those, it is okay because every deck has its own certain weaknesses and even my own deck cannot answer one of those question. I recommend that if your deck can make positive Elixir trade by pumping, your deck also need to be good at defending against a lot of threat otherwise it is hard to keep your deck always pumping.
If you have your own Golem deck, you can try it on challenge first.
Know your deck first
What makes Golem deck different from Giant deck? A Golem deck support troops usually is cheaper than Giant deck but Golem deck support troops can focus on full damage troops while Giant deck usually needs a secondary mini tank and you usually needs 3 support troops and it is usually the main DPS, anti-air and splash.
The Golem is also a little bit different from the Giant at dealing with towers. Giant DPS is way better than Golem so a Golem needs assistance from the backline troops to help him destroy the tower. Before that actually happens, the opponent will counter your troops with their troops/ spells. That’s why you need to spread your support troops that will confuse the opponents. Example : Executioner on the back providing a splash damage, Lumberjack to support the Golem, and mega minion to kill their support troops.
When to Push
1 main thing every Golem players need know is when to push and when not to push with your Golem. There is no point supporting your Golem with your wizard if their inferno tower is locking onto your Golem. Try to make a push when you are sure you have a lot of Elixir to support your Golem, otherwise it will just be another fail push that wont win you the game.
Be patience and make Elixir advantage first. Defend your arena while waiting for the double Elixir time and start placing your Golem in the back if 1 minute mark has started. I have a lot of time when my 1 single push gets 1-0 against the enemy and the enemy couldn’t defend it anymore thus winning the game for me a 3 crown star.
Card Matchups
Here i am going to tell you how to respond against other card with your Golem.
One of the hardest counter to Golem. Play your Golem on the back and your enemy will rush your tower with that Ferrari Barbarians.
The best bet to win against card like this is placing your Golem at the middle of your arena. This way if they approach you with Elite Barbarians, the Elite Barbarians will just get distracted by your Golem and won’t reach the tower.
Or you could try my own way to win against this card. I will place my Golem on the back. If they immediately counter it with rushing Elite Barbarians, I will ignore it. Yes, ignore it and prepare for 3 CROWN PUSHHH. Just make sure you know you have decent Elixir advantage against their deck and your troops isn’t completely countered by one of their cards/ combos. This is why Golem players usually have a lot more three crown wins than another archetype players.
Same like Elite Barbarians, defend it with few Elixir as possible and if you lose a tower early on, try to make a comeback at 1-minute mark. If they place the Royal Giant in the middle while you place the Golem, defend it with your long ranged troops and make sure the troops will support the Golem if they have done defending.
This matchup is quite normal in ladder match so you must learn from time to time against a Royal Giant deck.
Almost the same as Golem deck but this tank is more favorite by other players simply because this card is a rare and not as risky as Golem.
Golem players advantage against a Giant deck is that Golem player has slower deploy time than Giant. So by the time their Giant reach the bridge, our Golem hasn’t even reach the bridge yet making our arena tower kill the Giant easily while their Giant support troop is busy killing your Golems.
One thing to always keep in mind is against the same deck archetype opponent. Don’t let they have more Elixir than you do. Because if they do, you will be the one to get beatdown-ed
Miner/Hog
Against an annoying control/chip deck like this. You will need to defend until double Elixir time and make a comeback. If their hog have a freeze spell, just sacrifice your tower (yes, sacrifice for better goods) and make an awesome comeback.
NEVER Sacrifice your tower on double Elixir time because by the time they take your tower and you just started to make a comeback push. The game is likely to be ended soon. Always use your time wisely and don’t be that guy who always make positive Elixir trade but doesn’t have enough time to make a good push.
Lava Hound
Pretty much the same as Giant decks, distract their support with your Golem and kill the Lava Hound with your support. You can also try to make another lane push because Lava Hound deck usually have not that much firepower.
Triple Musketeer
One of the Golem hardest matchup. Distracting your Golem with 3 Musketeers will not going to work and you will just give a lot of Elixir to them. Try to kill their Musketeer with your spell if you can and battle the remaining one with your full deck.
Watchout for triple Musketeer deck that is also a fireball/rocket/lightning bait deck. If they succeed to waste your spell on something else, their triple Musketeer will go wild and lose you the game.
Hey guys, what’s up. It’s ya boi, SCorpSCilla, back at it again this time to teach you guys some manners and kindness.
This guide will be based on emotes in battles and clans. I will go over some ways how to not go salty and rage quit, how to be a positive player, and the purpose of clans.
How to be a Positive Player in Clash Royale
So let’s say you just got crushed by this guy two levels highers than you, with two Legendaries. This is the third battle you’ve lost, in a row. He just barely survived with (___) health left, and just to make things worse, he starts spamming the crying face. Now I know that the laughing face is just as bad, but the crying face (in my opinion) is even worse. You feel your face get mad and you have a weird itch on your hand to throw your phone out the window. But before you do that, you search Clash.World for better decks, and you find this guide.
Well my friend, let me show how to be positive.
So usually, when this happens to me, the first thing I do is say well played after clicking the mute button quickly. Usually I’m already too late, but I ignore the laughing emote and wait it out. The moment I get back to the main screen, I ask myself, “Yo SCorp, nice battle you did. You almost got ‘em good. Remember how he was so desperate he Goblin Barreled that Hog? The question is, where did it go wrong?” I watch the replay again, and when I finally find what went wrong, I make a mental note to myself to not make that mistake again, and keep on going. The itch goes away, and I feel a little better now.
WOAH there, calm down. Breaking your iPad and screaming loud enough to raise the dead isn’t going to make anyone happy, ‘specially your parents who bought the iPad for you’. Just close the app as quickly as you can and just take a break from the game. Sometimes it’s just good enough to simply have a pause at playing Clash Royale. Smile at the wins, learn from the losses, and be satisfied with the draws.
Now about Clans!
Clans are there for a reason: They allow you to battle your friends for no risks, they allow you to donate the cards you don’t need, or just in pure kindness, while also allowing them to donate to you too. The Clan Chest is a cooperative goal to get a really tier so you guys could get good cards. They aren’t there to spread competition, rivalry, and bad feelings. Promotions are made to feel good and to have a responsibility of being nice to your clanmates.
Quick story: Every time I promote people, I have them repeat after me and swear to the Asian code (no joke, I do it every time), which says: “I promise to never abuse my new power to the saltiness and rivalry of good friends, to never kick people out for no reason, and to donate always, all sworn to the Asian code. #AsianClan”. I’m quite serious, I do that every time. Donating is a sign of playing and being a nice guy. Anyways, this guy swore to the Asian code, and the moment he was co-leader, he kicked five people out just before the Clan Chest. I challenged him to a battle, and if you’ve ever seen the wrath of an Asian, there is no surviving. There were six other people who challenged him. He left the clan right after I wrecked him 😀 and I invited the five he kicked out back into the clan. Moral of the story, promotions are a responsibility, and it shows just how kind you are.
So basically, when you start getting salty, either stay positive or just take a break from the game. Don’t abuse your power, or your clanmates might turn on you.
