Hi there! It’s Krux here and I’m back again with a cold wave and a new deck guide. The new Clashmas Season has kickstarted and I hope you are enjoying the snowy arena. We are going big with Giant today. Let’s get to know the Giant Graveyard deck.

  • Graveyard: Our win condition for this Giant Graveyard deck.
  • Giant: The secondary win condition and push leader.
  • Arrows: To clear the way for our giant and also for swarms.
  • Skeleton Army: Tiny but dangerous. Defence but can be support also.
  • Minions: It comes as one of our anti-air attack and defence.
  • Snowball: Low elixir spell to thwart the goblins and skeletons.
  • Musketeer: Our major air defence and support for the push.
  • Dark Prince: The heavy card for both defence and offence.

The Giant Graveyard deck offers a godly synergy and versatility. There are not many blunders which we can make with this fast deck.

Giant Graveyard deck

Opening: We can start with the Giant in the back, the Dark Prince or the Musketeer. Never at the bridge though. If the opponent makes the first move, it’s better for us to judge and respond. Giant is better to place at the back than Dark Prince because Prince is our defence and we may need it later. If the opponent uses a Princess or Goblins at the back of their King tower in response to our initial card, use Arrows to take the out. After it, we will place our Musketeer or Dark Prince behind the Giant at some distance. Maintain the distance so that the opponent can’t drop a Mega Knight or Pekka directly on the support. We will now have the Snowball or the Dark Prince at our fingertips to use. Snowball for Skeletons, Inferno Dragon or Skeleton Army. Graveyard will be used if they overcommit and we clear their defence easily. They won’t be able to stop the Giant and the Graveyard simultaneously. After these moves, we will wait for out elixir to build up.1 28 screenshot

Mid-Game: There is no problem if we didn’t get too much damage from the first push. We now know the opponent’s cards. Depending upon the opponent’s troops, a combination of Giant+Musketeer or Dark Prince would be enough to defend. For example, suppose they placed an Inferno tower. We will place the Giant in the back and the Skeleton army before the giant to stop the Inferno tower from locking on the giant. Meanwhile Arrows will come handy. The Musketeer will support the Giant from behind.  Paired with a Musketeer or Dark Prince to kill the support behind it. If we could successfully clear the way, we will place the Graveyard. And now it’s time to watch the show with the Snowball in our hands.

2 21 screenshotEndgame: We are going on with full force on the opponent’s Princess tower now in the double elixir. With the Giant leading the push and the Musketeer, Dark Prince and Arrows supporting it. And the Graveyard, of course. Our big guy should connect to the tower while the Musketeer takes shots at the tower. Don’t hesitate to put the Dark Prince at the bridge if they try to kill the Musketeer. Double elixir is our advantage. We should have one crown with us after this encounter. In case, they somehow defend, we will repeat the attack-defend cycle.

The Pekka Battle Ram deck has an average elixir of 3.9. It has a godly defence and a godly attack. The free-to-play score is not so good for this Pekka Battle Ram deck as it has 4 legendary cards.

  • Pekka: Our win condition and unmatched satisfaction when it kills tanks with that katana.
  • Zap: Low elixir spell to clear out skeleton army, minions, or goblins.
  • Battle Ram: Our low-key win condition and a surprise to the enemy towers.
  • Electro Wizard: Support for the Pekka to deal with Inferno Dragon/Tower.
  • Magic Archer: What can be more annoying than Magic Archer as Pekka’s support?
  • Bandit: Good defence and an offence to be placed at the bridge.
  • Poison:  It is the pump response and occasionally clearing the troops near the enemy’s tower.

Opening: Bandit and Battle Ram are our cards for the opening move. Both are meant to be played at the back of the King tower. We won’t ever start with the Pekka in the back or the Electro Wizard. Playing Pekka opens the chances of getting punished. In response to the Bandit, the opponent will defend with a troop. Use one of the defences accordingly,

0 54 screenshoteither Royal ghost or Magic Archer if it is a swarm. Magic Archer is our answer to skeleton army, Bats, and Graveyard in this Pekka Battle Ram deck. Put the Magic archer in the back to defend so that it becomes the support when we put Pekka at the bridge. After two or three cards, we will be in place to start with our attack cycle. We can place the Pekka in the front of Magic archer and bandit. We will wait for the opponent’s move. Our support card would depend on the opponent’s response. It will be electro Wizard most probably for the enemy’s Inferno dragon or tower. Place it behind the Pekka; keep some distance so that a Mega Knight or another defence doesn’t crush it with the Pekka. Zap and the Poison will be at our fingertips to support the push. And if the push gets through, we have the Battle ram.Mid-game: Battle Ram should be used in the same lane if it’s a normal deck and in the other lane if we are facing a beatdown or heavy deck. If the opponent has a good defence for our Pekka and can stop our push before it damages their Princess tower, the Battle ram will go in the second lane. It will build pressure and force them to use elixir in that lane. They cannot defend both sides against our Pekka Battle Ram deck and we will get the damage in one of them. Don’t hesitate to use the Zap if a positive trade comes up in the arena. After connecting to their tower, we will wait for the elixir to build. Don’t be spamming ceaseless. We have to defend the counter push now. We should have the Bandit, Magic Archer and Royal ghost in the cycle again for the defence. A combination of these would be good. Once tried, we will know that if we have to put the Battle ram and Pekka in different lanes or the same. Follow the same till the elixir speed ups to 2x.3 57 screenshot

Endgame: Either we have placed the Pekka to kill the tank in the counter push or we will place it now ahead of the supporting troops. We have to repeat the attack cycle again with the Pekka and Electro Wizard along with a support card like Magic archer or Bandit. Poison should always be used to clear the defense of the enemy and damage the tower along with it. Two attack cycles should get us a crown.

Balance Changes December 2021

Hey there! It’s Krux here and I’m back with some jingle bells and the new update about Clash Royale. The Clashmas Season started on December 6 and it has brought a lot of gifts to the arena. With the season update, many cards in the game have seen balance changes. To make good decks and to know which cards are weaker than they were before, we will take a look at all the changes introduced in this update. Let’s get started!

Furnace

furnaceFurnace is part of some decks which may annoy any casual player, especially when it is overleveled. The life time of the furnace has been reduced to 33 seconds from 49 seconds. To compensate, spawn rate is now 6 seconds, faster than before and there is one fire spirit spawning when the building disappears. With all this hitpoints have also been decreased by 17%.

 

Goblin Hut

goblin hutAnother building change, Goblin hut’s lifetime has also been decreased and it is now 31 seconds, lesser than previous 40 seconds. Subsequently, the spawn rate has been increased and it will spawn a goblin every 4 seconds now. The hitpoints are now 17% lesser than earlier.

 

Barbarian hut

barbarian hutThis update has brought major balance changes for the spawner buildings. On the line of the above two, Barbarian hut has also been changed. The lifetime is decreased from 50 to 40 seconds and the hitpoints are 15% lesser than before. Also, every 10 seconds, there will be a barbarian coming out of the hut to slash enemies.

 

Tombstone

tombstoneWait? Was there an earthquake? Cause all the buildings seem shaken! Another spawner building change, Tombstone’s life now spans 30 seconds and it will spawn two skeletons at a time now. The spawn rate is every 3.3 seconds, slower than 3.1 seconds which was the old one. Interesting.

 

Fire Spirit

fire spiritsThere are two kinds of people. One, who think this is a waste card and have no use in their deck. Another who uses this every time it pops up in the playing hand. Whichever you are, but the point is that Fire spirits can jump shorter now. It will help the ranged units like Magic archer, Musketeer etc to deal with it without getting hit.

 

Executioner

Our cooking lover is not part of many meta decks and only few people like it to play in the arena. The balance changes have brought a small buff to it. Executioner’s hitpoints are now 5% more than what they were. Hope we like the pizzas he makes more now!

 

Rascals

rascals 1Rascals is another 5-elixir card that has seen low usage for years. It is hardly used in the ladder by anyone. To bring it back on the battleground, it has been buffed by increasing the Rascal girl’s hit rate by 9%. Rascal girl is the one behind the rascal boy and uses a catapult. Hope we will see more stones flying in the arena after these balance changes!

 

Goblin Cage

goblin cageOops! Goblin cage is a good card if you know how to use it properly. It spawns a goblin brawler when it is destroyed. The defensive part of the card has been nerfed. The cage will now have 21% lesser hitpoints. The brawler will have the same stats and the same cool tattoo on his arm. Let’s see if this changes things for him!

Mother Witch

motherwitchNobody had expected mother witch to be this famous when the card came out. The old witch has been going strong in the arena for some time now. Supercell have nerfed it by decreasing its hitpoints by 18%.

 

 

Tesla

building teslaBad news for hog cyclers. The strong defense building is now weaker. The hit speed has been reduced by 9%. Less shocks to the enemy and more to the hog cyclers!

 

 

Battle Ram

battle ramIf you always thought Battle ram is for Pekka bridge spammers, it is about to change. The card has been buffed with increment in its connection damage. Now it will damage the tower 8% more on colliding. Opens up possibilities for win conditions.

 

Dart Goblin

dart goblinOur tiny masked friend will inflict 9% more damage now. With the same speed, it makes it stronger and a card worth trying in the ladder. Look out for those poisonous darts!

 

Ice Wizard

ice wizardIce Wizard is a legendary card but feels weak on the arena. Cold effect on deployment has been added to his freezing spell. It will inflict slight damage and applies slow down on the enemy. Let’s see if it could break the ice or not!

Hey there! It’s Krux here and I’m back again with some chilling winter wind and the new Clash Royale season update. The festive season has arrived and it is rightly named ‘Clashmas’ It has brought new rewards and new quality of live changes into the game. Let’s take a look what is in there in the stocking!

New rewards have been added to the Pass royale in Clashmas. Also there are changes to the pass tiers. Pass royale holders will get unlimited tries in the special challenges which means more rewards and also a cool golden name. Let’s see what this season offers in the pass.

As the name says, this tower skin looks like a lit tavern. There is a big window in the front and a sword in the snow. It has brown wooden texture and green on the edges. The princess tower skins are similarly designed on Clashmas tavern. This skin will be available in the shop. Looks good!

Archer Queen Skin: This is the skin unlocked in the Pass royale tier 20 in Clashmas Season. It is branded on the new champion Archer queen. Check it out on Youtube.

Clashmas Emotes

Heres johnnyHog Rider Hammer

This emote will be unlocked in the Mega deck challenge in this Clashmas Season. The hammer breaks through a wooden door and the hog peeps outside the hole. This spooky hog emote is the one you gotta win.

Menacing QueenArcher Queen Aim

The emote is based on the champion that we all like. Archer looks straight into the player’s eyes and aims her bow. This attacking emote will be unlocked in the Pass royale tier.

Firecracker SantaFirecracker Santa

This one is cute. Firecracker is wearing a santa hat in this one and pops out with gifts from a cracker. Firecracker is really one happy kid in all her emotes. You can buy this emote from the shop in the ongoing Clashmas Season.

Clashmas Free tier reward

Another reason to play till the end of the tiers is the final reward this season. Clashmas 0 21 screenshotSeason will have a legendary book of cards as the final reward in the tier list. It will be won by all the players playing till Tier 35. You can add the number of cards required to upgrade any legendary card with this book. Awesome gift!

 

Clashmas Season Arena

0 14 screenshotThe arena is covered by snow this Christmas season. There are shops and houses on both sides of the arena. Colorful and jubilant lights decorate the shops and the posters show about the food offered in the shops. Candy canes and gifts are lying around on the sides. All in all, it gives the feel of the festive season and looks really tasty!

Clashmas Season Boosted Cards

0 20 screenshotClashmas Season lasts four weeks, i.e, entire December. There will be a new card boosted every week as it has been for some months now. The boosted cards for this season are Snowball, Hog Rider, Barbarians, and the Inferno Tower. Snowball because it is the time of the snow. Hog rider boosted can increase the number of hog cycle players, though they never reduce anyway. New Barbarians decks can enter the meta for the time being coupled with the building card Inferno Tower.

12 Days of Clashmas 

The happy holidays are here and players will be getting gifts every day in the 12 days to Clashmas starting December 14 and ending on December 25. The list of the free items consists of Giant chest, gold, common cards, epic chests and on Christmas, a lightening chest. Be sure to swipe left to the shop and claim your daily christmas gift.

Hey Clashers! It’s Krux here and I’m back again with some rainy wind and the latest Clash Royale news. We are into August and it’s time to set sail on. Season 25 was Vacation Royale and we hope you enjoyed both the game and your vacations to the fullest. Clash Royale Season 26 is called Cruise Royale. Let’s see what it is bringing!

Clash Royale Season 26 Pass Royale

This season’s Pass Royale has a tower skin and exclusive emote. The Pass royale emote unlocks at tier 20. Though no free emotes or skin but the pass royale items may catch your eye. Let’s what it offer this season!

Clash Royale Season 26Tower Skin: Go Fishing 
The season is Cruise Royale and the pass royale tower skin is based on the important member of the crew—Fisherman. The King tower has a fish with arms crossed sitting (or standing) in a cup. You don’t want to mess with Maurice. The Princess towers are wrapped in the fisherman’s net with seashells stuck in it. It is a good looking skin for boat lovers.

Clash Royale Season 26 Emotes

Sweaty Ice Wizard
The Ice wizard has frozen brows but when he gets into trouble, the sweat melts and drips. You can see it in the emote how he snickers reluctantly and melts. This emote will be in the Pass royale tier.
There are no free emotes this season.

  • In this season, we will also have the Common Book of cards in the free last tier of the royale crown tiers. It had an epic book of cards last season.

Clash Royale Season 26 Arena

Ahoy! We are visiting the Boat Arena to do some fishing. The arena is the fisherman’s boat. It has cannonballs lying around to defend from enemies. Also, the crew watches the matches from the side tents. We played in the same arena last year when Clan Wars II came out.

  • Minions: These blue creatures are our anti-air defence and support.
  • Arrows: The low-cost spell to clear the swarms out of the way.
  • Lava Hound: The highest elixir card is our another win condition and the tank.
  • Inferno Dragon: The major defence and tank killer in our Lavaloon Miner deck.
  • Miner: Mini tank to couple with the Balloon. Also chipping away the tower.
  • Skeletons: Deck cycle card and also melee defence for some enemies.
  • Bomber: The little guy is our support while pushing.

The Lavaloon Miner deck offers a godly attack and a godly synergy amongst the cards.

Lavaloon Miner deck

Opening: We should what we will not start with. We won’t start with the Balloon or the Lava Hound at the bridge. Never. We can start with the Lava hound at the lower corners if we want. That will be our position for placing Lava hound for building a push unless stated otherwise. We can also open with the Skeletons at the back to cycle the deck. After this step, we will wait for the opponent to make their move. They may try to punish us if we placed the Lava Hound first, in this case, our Inferno Dragon and Bomber will help us defend. After successfully defending, we can support tour Lava Hound because they won’t have much elixir to stop it. We will send the Balloon with the Lava Hound and keep our Miner and Arrows ready. Miner and Arrows will clear the defence, like Miner can kill the Princess or Magic archer and Arrows clears minions. Our Balloon should reach their tower. We should get a good amount of damage after such a push.Lavaloon

Mid-Game: Now the opponent knows what deck we are playing and they will try to force us to use our elixir or trick us by applying dual lane pressure. We will have to decide depending upon their deck if we need to play our Lava Hound and Balloon in different lanes or the same. Read the Weakness section at the end to know more. We will defend using Inferno Dragon and Bomber and place our Lava hound in the same lane. With Arrows and Minions supporting the push, we will also place the Balloon at the Bridge after the Lava hound crosses the bridge. It will tank for the Balloon and we will use our support to clear the way.

Endgame: We will need two cycles of lava Hound pushing to get a crown if they get connected. Start with the Lava hound in the lower left or right corner and then build the push. Use the cards wisely to defend, like we shouldn’t water the Arrows if we know that the opponent has Minions for our Balloon. Lavaloon Miner Deck

Weakness
1. Golem and Electro Giant decks: 
These decks are heavy decks and tanks. It can be a problem for us if we made mistakes in such a match. We do not have any tank killer except the Infer Dragon and we cannot stop the push if we lost it. So in such match-ups, we have to wisely use our cards and build dual lane pressure. We will have to stop the opponent from pushing on our tower with all their troops.

Hi Clashers! It’s Krux here and I’m back again with a July thunderstorm and a new deck guide. The new Season 25 Vacation Royale has kickstarted and the boosted card is Bowler. Bowler has been in use for some time now. The reason being that it is a great counter to the Goblin Drill. Today we’ll see the Balloon Double Dragon deck. Let’s get started!

copy deckThe Balloon Double Dragon deck has an average elixir of 4.0 and a shortest card cycle of 13. It has an extremely good defence and great offence. There are epic cards so the free to play score is low if you don’t have Balloon and Lumberjack levelled up.

  • Balloon: Our win-condition. Paired with Lumberjack and the freeze to get the crown.
  • Barbarian Barrel: Barbarian barrel is the answer to skeleton armies and goblins, Princess and a mini tank for the Balloon.
  • Freeze: You should know when to freeze the opponent’s towers!
  • Lumberjack: Complementary troop with the Balloon to rage it and reach the tower faster.
  • Inferno Dragon: Defence in our deck for tanks such as Mega Knight, Pekka etc.
  • Tornado: Spell card to pull all the enemies together to give them an electric shock.
  • Bowler: Top-notch defence right now in the meta. To counter Goblin Drill and others.
  • Electro Dragon: It is our defence as well as the support card.

The Balloon Double Dragon deck offers a godly defence but the heavy cards in it don’t allow us to unwisely make the first move.Balloon Double Dragon deck

Opening: We will wait for the opponent to make the initial move. If the slow passage of time bores us out after 10 seconds, we can let go of the Barbarian barrel at the bridge. If it’s not in the hand, then we can start with the Inferno Dragon at the left or right lower corner of the arena. Don’t bridge spam Lumberjack and Balloon as the opening. It will be a recipe for disaster. When the inferno dragon reaches the Bridge, we can place the Lumberjack and the Balloon. Also, have Freeze at the fingertips to freeze their defence troops and tower. The Balloon should connect to the tower. If the Balloon or the Lumberjack dies in a second, don’t freeze it.Bdd

Mid-Game: We tried our luck with Balloon once. Now it’s our chance to defend our tower. Bowler along with Electro Dragon will be our defence. Place them in the right spots so that they don’t get crushed. Use Tornado to bring all the enemies together so that the Bowler can roll his boulder over them. Electro Dragon should also shock all of them in the chain. We will be free from the clutter by this. If the Bowler or the Electro Dragon is alive after defending, attack with the Balloon and the Lumberjack at the bridge (ahead of the Bowler). Again keep the Freeze ready and this time we will freeze it all. The Balloon should take hits at the tower. The crown is ours.

Endgame: Our Balloon Double Dragon deck has awesome versatility and it allows us to cycle the win condition faster. It can go with any dragon as support and also with the Bowler. We will have to repeat the cycle twice to get a crown. Once we get it, we will passively defend. No need to go for the King tower.bdd3

Weakness
1. Electro Giant decks:
Electro giant decks are a bit tricky to play against with this Balloon Double Dragon deck. We have Inferno dragon as the only ideal defence to it. Lumberjack and Electro dragon won’t do much to it and dies. In such matches, we will have to somehow stop the opponent from putting the Electro giant in the first place. It costs 9 elixir and we want to avoid it. Even if they place it, we will force them to use elixir so that they can’t build a big push behind the Electro giant. Facing the Electro Giant without Inferno Dragon in hand is a catastrophe.

Clash Royale Season 25 Pass Royale

This season’s Pass Royale has a tower skin and exclusive emote. The shop will also have a buyable emote during the season. Though no free emotes or skin but the pass royale items may catch your eye. Let’s what it offer this season!

Tower Skin: Boom
The season is Vacation Royale and the pass royale tower skin is based on the beach. Beach has a reference to Boom Beach, a supercell game. The King tower has a boom rocket at the front and the Princess towers are wrapped in a rubber unicorn. Looks cool and cute!

Clash Royale Season 25 Emotes

Basketball Bowler
A brand new card is coming into the game with its brand new emote with it! We will have the Goblin Drill Drive emote which would be unlockable from a challenge. We can see a happy goblin in the Drill’s window as it flies out of the ground.

  • In this season, we will also have the Epic Book of cards in the free last tier of the royale crown tiers. It had a rare book of cards last season.

Clash Royale Season 25 Arena

Cool sip! We are visiting the Beach Island Arena to do some sunbathing. The arena is an island in the middle of the royale ocean. There are starfish on the sand and seagulls flying above the battlefield. Looks pretty to the eyes.

BowlerBowler: Our blue man with a rock will also be boosted for the season. Let’s bowl on the goblin drill!

Pekka Double Prince Deck

Hi Clashers! It’s Krux here and I’m back again with a misty gust of air and a new deck guide. We are seeing many Pekka decks in Season 24. I am also trying a few. We already covered the Pekka Ram Rider deck. Today we are going to see the Pekka Double Prince deck. So without any delay, let’s start!

copy deckThe Pekka Double Prince deck has an average elixir of 4.1 and a shortest card cycle of 13. It has an extremely good defence and offence. The synergy is just average but we can make it work and it’s fun. Pekka Double Prince deck has legendaries and epics, so it may not be good if you have these cards low-levelled.

  • Dark Prince: Dark Prince is a good defence for mini tanks and swarms.
  • Fireball: Our Pump response card and also to take out that group near the enemy’s Princess tower.
  • Bandit: The building chaser which will push the opponent to the limits in defending under pressure.
  • Mother Witch: Skeleton army and Graveyard turns into piggies. Curse is upon you!
  • Electro Wizard: Our major anti-air troop and support to deal with Inferno towers and Dragons.
  • Prince: Our answer to Princes, Wizards, and even Mega Knight. Also to put pressure in the other lane if needed.
  • Pekka: Our win condition that will make the enemies dread. Butterflies…
  • Zap: The 2-elixir tiny shock to deal with skeleton army, goblins, and to reset the enemy troops.

The Pekka Double Prince deck offers a godly defence and that allows us to worry less about defending. We need to find a way to keep the Pekka alive and connect to the opponent’s tower.

Opening: If we are going to start, we will start with the Bandit in the back of the King tower. If Bandit is not in the opening cards, we can also start with the Prince or Dark Prince. Never with the Pekka or Mother Witch or they will go to waste. The opponent will respond after our move. If they place a wizard, Magic Archer, Archers etc we can fireball the Princess tower along with the troop. After this, place the second troop in front of the Bandit, it may be the Prince. Prince and Bandit go together well. The opponent will surely try to defend with Goblins, Skeleton army or Skeletons to stop the Prince. We have the Zap to quickly clear the swarm. One of the Bandit or the Prince will reach the tower. We will again start with the Prince or Dark Prince in the back. Pekka will be our game in double elixir. pekka double

Mid-Game: After a minute or so into the game, we will be ready to make a big push on the opponent’s princess tower. Starting with the Pekka in the back and waiting for the elixir to collect. Do not make hasty overcommit. Place support for the Pekka. It will be either the Dark Prince or the Mother Witch. Prince can work too but we will save it for the other lane. The opponent can try to punish us when we place Pekka by attacking in the other lane. Defend it; don’t ignore it. Fireball and Zap will be our spells to clear the way for our Pekka. Fireball if they place a defensive building. If they defend with Inferno Dragon or Tower, Electro Wizard at the right place to save the Pekka. A combination of these should breach the enemy’s defences and we should get a good amount of damage on their tower.

pekka double2Endgame: Once we know our opponent’s deck, we can make the right choice of the combination of cards with Pekka and the cards to use in defence. Also if required, to defend or push the other lane. Bandit is the card to bridge spam in the other lane when we are pushing with Pekka. It is used when the opponent has heavy defences and we want them to use their elixir in the other lane. One or at most two successful Pekka cycles should get us the crown.
