Arena 4 Deck: Push to 2000+ Trophies as a F2P Player!

Okay guys so we meet each other again because of this new Arena 4 Deck – HoLi, which helped me push my alternative account from 1000 trophies to 2000+ trophies in just 1 day. This deck was shared by zman2100 (Thank you very much dude)!

Arena 4 Deck – HoLi

I tested a similar deck for a few battles before the Tesla nerf. I was using Tesla in stead of Tombstone and Minion Horde instead of Archers but the results were not really great. Yesterday, I saw this deck and decided to give it a try. Everything was perfect! My winrate was about 80% and I successfully pushed to Royale Arena from 1000+ trophies.

This is a control deck. It was built for countering any attack properly and gaining Elixir advantage. I am going to give you a quick review about this deck and some important tips you should know while using it. As I mentioned the ways to use these cards a lot before, you can easily take a look in my previous posts for more details!

    • Archers: They are just solid support units. In this deck, I prefer using them to using Minion Horde because of the Elixir cost and they can survive Arrows (of course it depends on the level of Arrows and Archers). The other reason I love using them is because their attack speed was increased a bit after the March 23 update. When get paired with Spear Goblins, they can deal a decent amount of damage to any tanker.
    • Spear Goblins: Very cheap as it costs only 2 Elixir. They can attack both ground and air units. Their movement speed is awesome. This is definitely one of the most useful cards in game as you can see it in most Clash Royale decks. They are very effective at dealing with Balloon and Hog-Freeze. Sometimes, you can send them behind Barbarians or Baby Dragon on a counter push.
    • Barbarians: Another excellent card that fists well most decks in game. They can take down tanker such as Giant, Giant Skeleton,... Prince, Hog Rider,… quickly and stay alive for the counter push. You may want to mainly use them on defense but sometimes they are very great at soaking damage for counter attacks. If you want to use them to take down Hog Rider, care about the Freeze! If you want to take down Giant Skeleton, drop them behind him so they can survive the bomb.
    • Fireball: In this Clash Royale deck, I prefer using Fireball to using Arrows as it’s incredible strength on offense. You can effectively use Fireball for +1 Elixir trade against Minion Horde, take down Barbarians (let your Tower finish the job), snipe support troops behind tankers,… I usually drop it right on a large push when they are on the bridge. You should also remember the amount of damage your Fireball can deal to enemy Tower as you sometimes want to finish off by using it.

    • I drop

Hog Rider

immediately If my opponent drops an Elixir Collector at the beginning of the battle and use him again when the opponent is low on Elixir.

  • Tombstone: Since the new update, I have been facing Hog Freeze decks a lot of times. IMO, Tombstone is really the best counter against this combo. Most HoFre users drop the Freeze Spell before the Tombstone gets destroyed, which means he will release 4 Skeletons and they will kill him in seconds. Tombstone is one of my favorite cards to draw fire from Mortars. It’s also extremely useful at dealing with Prince, Balloons, P.E.K.K.A, Golem,…
  • Lightning: This is definitely the most important card in this Arena 4 Deck and you hardly can replace it with anything else. Understanding your Lightning is very crucial at putting yourself ahead. In Clash Royale, sometimes you just can’t defend against a single push with 1-2 defensive troops on your hands. With Lightning, you can easily stop pushes before they even start. Sometimes it costs you negative Elixir trades but it’s just not simple. You can take down the enemy troops while also dealing damage to the Tower nearby. It’s also extremely great at talking Three Musketeer out and get the +3 Elixir trade.
For instance: Your opponent drops Bomb Tower and it still has full HP. If you drop your Hog Rider, most of the time your opponent won’t really care. But when your Hog attacks the Bomb Tower 1-2 hits, you drop your Lightning to immediately take it down as well as deal a decent amount of damage to Crown Tower nearby, your opponent won’t have enough tome to react. Lightning is also very effective at dealing with Mortar decks and Hut decks as it allows you to damage up to 3 buildings at a time. You may want to remember how much damage your Lightning can deal to the enemy Tower because you will use it to finish off a lot (read more about this at here)!

How to fix Clash Royale Crashing on Android!

Because many players asked me “How to fix If Clash Royale gets crashed on Android devices?”, today I am going to share some easy ways to fix this annoying problem.

How to fix Clash Royale Crashing on Android!
How to fix Clash Royale Crashing on Android!

Troubleshooting – Clash Royale Gets Crashed on Android

First, you need to make sure that:

  1. You are using the official Clash Royale version which was downloaded and installed from Google Play Store. If you have troubles while downloading it from Google Play Store, please download the official Clash Royale APK at here.
  2. Your device must have at least 0.5 GB of RAM and run Android OS 4.0.3 or later in order to run Clash Royale smoothly.

Then, try these solutions! If a solution doesn’t work for you, just move to the next one!

  • Restart your device by hold the Power button for a while then choose Restart. If there isn’t any Restart button, Turn it off and on.
  • Reinstall Clash Royale.
  • Is your device full? Go to Settings -> Storage and ensure your device has at least 100MB free for Clash Royale.
  • Log out of Google ID and Facebook then try again. Sounds stupid but I confirm this solution does work!
  • Make sure that your device Date/Time is correct.
  • Try to use another Internet connection.
  • Try to visit 9339 port checker, If you can’t visit it, that means you just can’t play game with the current connection.

If Clash Royale still crashes after trying all methods above, you should contact the support in game via [email protected] immediately!

Okay hopefully you have found this post helpful. Thanks for reading guy and good luck!

Clash Royale Tips from Top 1 Player

Hello guys today I would like to share with you couples of great Clash Royale tips which was shared by xSCWx, who is currently rank #1.

Clash Royale Tips from Top 1 Player
Clash Royale Tips from Top 1 Player

General Tips

  • The King’s Tower only gets activated when you destroy an Arena Tower or when you hit it. In most cases, you want to avoid triggering it. Be careful when you use your splash damaging cards!
  • Sometimes, you enter the battle with a Hog half way to your Tower. Wonder why? Just tap on your screen when it is showing the names of you and your opponent then you can see the battle immediately.
  • The middle of your side of the map is the kill zone. You should lure the enemy troops away from your Towers -> You will be able to get more hits before it reaches you. You can even lure them to the other side (Read more about this at here).
  • Sometimes, If you don’t have any good card to defend, it’s better to launch a push on the other lane.
  • The King’s Tower has a lot of more HP than the Arena Towers. In most cases, don’t focus on attacking it to get the 3 crown win.
  • Clash Royale troops have a deployment time. You should try to remember this because it impacts the gameplay a lot. For example. when you drop your Baby Dragon to deal with an approaching Minion Horde in front of, you can counter it. But If place your Dragon into the middle of a Minion Horde, it will be killed immediately. Knowing the deployment time helps you playing game much easier.
  • Hold your finger down on a card and you can see how HP it has and how much damage it does. This is very useful when you want to use your Spells to take down weakened Tower,
  • Sometimes, trying to defend to get a tie is recommended If your opponent can fully counter your deck!

Deck Building Tips

  • Let’s assume that you get attacked by Freeze Hog and defend with Archers and Valkyrie. Your opponent spends 8 Elixir while you spend just 7. He could probably deal 300-1500 damage to your Tower (depending on how good your defense is) but all 8 Elixir he spent is just gone now while your is still alive. At this point, he is behind you by 1 Elixir. After some good trades like that, you will have enough Elixir to launch a huge push when he just can’t defend. But truly sometimes It’s not just about Positive Elixir Trades or Win Conditions. This game is very complex and you are trading troop HP, Tower HP,…
  • My best advice for deck building in Clash Royale is to experiment. Keep testing good decks and watching your replays!

Using cards

    • Hog Rider:  He is very great at damaging buildings, especially when get coupled with Freeze, Fireball, Skeletons, Goblins,… He can be countered by buildings in the middle of the map and high damage troops (Mini P.E.K.K.A, Skeletons, Goblins, Barbarians, Minion Horde,…).
    • Arrows is the best card for countering groups of small troops. There is not much thing to say about it as it is one of the most popular cards in game and very easy to use. You can use Arrows (to defend most of the time) to deal with Minion Horde, Skeleton Army, Goblin Barrel,… and Princess (except level 6 Princess).
    • Musketeer: Excellent high damage card! Don’t place her in front of a charging Prince otherwise he will 1 hit her. It’s better to take damage than donating 4 Elixir! She is extremely greaet at dealing with Princess, Cannon and dealing standalone damage. She is good on both offense and defense, she synergies with everything in game. Lightning and any high HP troop can 1 hit her.
    • Valkyrie: She does good damage in an circle arena around her. You can probably drop her right in the middle of swarms or between Witch and her Skeletons. She is great with Freeze also. You can deal with her by using high damage troops or air troops.
    • Freeze: Freeze is great against big group of troops which are damaging you. On offense, people usually use it with Hog, Balloon, P.E.K.K.A and Goblin Barrel. Sometimes you may want to use Freeze on offense to deal with Prince and swarms then let your support troops finish the job. The best way to counter Freeze is to drop your troops wide.
    • Elixir Collector: At the highest level, you can get up to 7 Elixir later after buying it with 5 Elixir. I think you always should place it first in the middle of your side. If you place it behind your Tower, the opponent can rocket it and deal additional damage to it and your Tower. Don’t place it too close to your King Tower because it won’t lure Hog, Golem, Giant and Balloon. Just don’t place it more than 2 tiles in front of your King’s Tower as it will be vulnerable to attacks from the river.
    • Skeleton: Good damage, super low cost and low HP. It is pretty similar to Goblins. If you can keep them alive, they can definitely deal a lot of damage. They are very good against Hog pushes.
    • P.E.K.K.A: She is tanky, his hard but very slow. She is great against Dual Prince, Valkyrie, Golem,.. and very weak against swarms and Inferno Tower.
    • Knight: Cheap tanker who deals surprisingly good damage. In most cases, I drop him on squishy ranged troops (Witch, Musketeer, Bomber,…) once they cross the river. He is very good for split pushes and weak against air troops and Barbarians.
    • Fireball: Fireball is great on both offense and defense. You can target multiple units with it. Just like Arrows, there is not much thing to say about Fireball!
    • Witch: She summons Skeleton in front of her and does splash damage. She is also great on defense, especially against Prince or Skeleton Army. The best way to counter her is to drop anything on her once she crosses the river.
    • Skeleton Army: This card can be effectively used against any single targeting troops like P.E.K.K.A, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Prince, Dark Prince, Giant Skeleton,... This army can be easily countered by splash damaging units. If your opponent uses Skeleton Army to deal with your push, most of the time you don’t want to use Arrows as your troops could deal a lot of damage before the Arrows hits.
    • Archers: They hit air troops and deal decent amount of damage with their good attack range. This card is very cheap at spreading troops out versus Freeze Hog or Freeze Balloon. One of the best cards to deal with Balloon!
    • Mini P.E.K.K.A: Great damage, pretty low HP and single target. This card is very useful when get coupled with Freeze and at countering Hog Rider. It’s also pretty great at split push as it deals a lot of damage with gets ignored. You can easily counter it with air troops and small swarms.
    • Bomber: Bomber is a great splash damaging card. It can’t hit air troops. People usually drop him behind Golem and Giant. He is great at dealing with Barbarians, Spear Goblins, Goblins and swarms. You will always want to play him behind a tanker.
    • Giant: One of the main tankers in Clash Royale. He goes for only buildings. Giant is very good at soaking damage and protecting small high damage units behind. You can deal with him by using Inferno Tower or high damage troops.
    • Prince: Very high damage troop. Just don’t drop anything squishy directly in front of the Prince. Sometimes you can use him on offense to deal with Hog then launch a counter push right after that. He is strategically played when gets coupled with Dark Prince and Freeze.
    • Dark Prince: The way we use him is pretty similar to the Prince. He is tanky and has a shield which soaks some damage. He deals splash damage to anything in front of him. It’s recommended to use him with Prince, P.E.K.K.A or Ice Wizard. You can counter him with big tankers like Golem or P.E.K.K.A.
    • Goblins: This card is pretty similar to Skeletons above.
    • Spear Goblins: They are very cheap, hit air troops and have nice attack range. On offense, you always want to send them behind tankers. Spear Goblins are great in any Zap Decks to finish off Minion Horde.

    • Goblin Hut: Hut that spawns Spear Goblins. Hut can be effectively used for setting up pushes. The best way to counter Goblin Hut is pushing the other lane. Using Lightning to damage Hut and Tower nearby is also very great.
    • Barbarian Hut is usually coupled with Goblin Hut as a part of Hut Decks. I don’t think it’s necessary to play them together most of the time. By using Barbarian Hut, you can keep constant pressure on one lane. Probably the best way to play this card is placing it in front of your King’s Tower.
    • Goblin Barrel: This card can deal a ton of damage If ignored. You can easily counter them with Arrows and Fireball or you can drop some troops nearby to kill them quickly.
    • Lightning: This card is effective used to finish off 3 Musketeers, Hut Decks, Baby Dragon, Musketeer, Witch, Wizard,… I strongly recommend using it when you can damage at least 2 targets.
    • Minions: Low HP, good damage and target both ground and air units. This card is very useful in many decks since lots of troops cant’ target air units. It is also great in decks which uses a lot of small units (control decks). Minions can be countered by Wizard, Zap and splash damage dealing units.

    • Bomb Tower: Bomb Tower can’t hit air troops but it’s very great against ground swarms. It’s very great against Hut decks, Barbarians, Witch,… You can use air units or Lightning to deal with it.
    • Tombstone: The Tombstone can be used to help pushing lane a bit. It’s very great at luring defensive building targeting units, Prince, P.E.K.K.A, Giant Skeleton,…
    • Balloon is 1 tile less sensitive than hog at being lured toward the middle. If your opponent drops Elixir Collector 2 tiles in front of his King’s Tower and you drop your Balloon at the very corner, your Balloon will not get lured, but the Hog will. Anyway Balloon is a bit more expensive than Hog but most players find it harder to deal with Balloon as it’s an air unit. Balloon synergizes very well with other air units and the Freeze. You can use any troops that hit air to deal with Balloon. Just remember to spread them out in order to deal with Freeze.
    • Giant Skeleton: He can deals a lot of damage in the arena after he dies. This card is very useful at countering opponents who commit to all in attacks, especially from low and medium HP units. He is very strong with get coupled with splash damaging units. The best way to deal with him is to lure him with your small troops to the other side.
    • Barbarians: If you play Barbarians in the very middle of your map, you can split them into 2 groups and force your opponent to either defend both sides or take a lot of damage. It’s pretty valuable to play Barbarians as an opening card because you can commit to the side your opponent defends poorly. They are also very useful on defense against Hog, P.E.K.K.A, Prince, Musketeer, Witch,…
    • Cannon: The Cannon hits ground troops only. It’s a very low cost card you can use to lure Hog, Balloon, Giant,… away from your Tower. You can counter it by using air units and Musketeer.
    • Rocket: This is definitely the highest Crown Tower damage Spell in game. People usually use it with siege decks. Sometimes it’s extremely useful on offense when your opponent goes all in against you. You can drop your Rocket to damage the enemy Prince, leave him with red HP and deal additional damage everything else nearby. When play against Rocket decks, place your buildings in the middle and place your troops in front of your Towers so they won’t get hit by Rocket!
    • X-Bow: X-Bow users usually want to protect it with other defensive buildings. Spells work very well because anything defending it will likely be almost directly on top of it.
    • Mortar is a 4 Elixir siege unit. The way people play it is pretty the same to X-Bow but it’s much cheaper and have more options to defend.
    • Rage: This can be played as a part of a slow push with P.E.K.K.A, Golem and Hut Decks. If your opponent drop Rage, It’s almost likely he is going all in his Elixir.
    • Minion Horde: It’s 5 Elixir for 6 Minions! If your opponent has Arrows, you may want to use them defensively most of the time. Don’t send them in alone If you don’t want to trade 5 Elixir with the 3 Elixir Arrows. If you are launching a push and you know your opponent will defend with Minion Horde, you may want to send Arrows early in hope of killing them before they deal a single damage.
    • Ice Wizard: Ice Wizard deals splash damage, slow enemy troops and is good against small swarms. You can kill him for cheap with something like Goblins once he crosses the river.
    • Telsa: You can freeze it so it can’t pop up, lure and damage your Hog/Balloon. It’s more expensive than Cannon but it hits air troops. Timing Spells to destroy it is very important. Sometimes you should just ignore it by drop your Elixir Collector.
    • Wizard: Wizard can devastate Minion Horde in just 1 shot If you can timing it right. He is effectively used against small units, swarms and behind tankers. You can drop your Lightning Spell to kill him and also deal additional damage to something else.
    • Mirror: Use it when you want to play the same card again for 1 extra Elixir. It’s recommended to play it to mirror a card which is hard to counter as you are overpaying to begin with. It works pretty well with Goblin Barrel, Golem, Minion Horde,…

  • Poison Spell: Great against small troops. Poison is also a great choice to play against Hog and Minion Horde. It’s nearly nothing you can use to counter this. Just don’t drop your troops on the Poison and try to spared your troops so they won’t get hit.
  • Golem is the tanker of all tankers. You can use him on defense by placing him in front of the Dual Prince. He deals extra damage upon death and explodes into 2 HP small Golems (Golemites), which can also deal damage when they die. Playing him as a part of a slow push is the best choice as you will have enough Elixir to get high damage troops behind him. People usually use him with Elixir Collector and high damage ranged troops. Best cards which can deal with him are Inferno and P.E.K.K.A.
  • Princess: She has an impressive attack range as she can shoot from across the river. She deals splash damage and can be used to counter Goblins and Minions.
  • Royal Giant: A tanky unit which has nice damage but it’s a pretty stupidly designed unit. Do you want to place your tanker in the back of your push?
  • 3 Musketeers: Similar to Musketeer. Best ways to counter them is using Fireball, Lightning and Freeze.

How to Change Clash Royale Name Again

Okay so I have received a lot of questions about “How to change Clash Royale name again?” lately. At this time, as far as I know, there is just only 1 way to change your account name the second time. I am going to show you how to do it in this post!

In general, you can change your account name when you reach level 4. Simply go to the Settings menu and you will see a Change Name button there. Make sure to enter your new Clash Royale name twice then type CONFIRM in order to change your name.

Normally, Supercell doesn’t allow you to change your name again. You just can do that one time! But If you did change your name before and want to do that the second time, you should follow my tutorial below properly. In summary, you should contact the support in game and tell them that you are using either an offensive name or your real name and you want to change it as you are feeling uncomfortable. After 2-3 days, they should reply your message and sometimes ask you some additional questions to verify the ownership of your account then they will change your name. I have used this method a few times and it always works!

How to change Clash Royale name again

  1. Open Clash Royale on your device.
  2. Open the Settings menu => Help and Support. Normally you will see a small Contact Us button at the top right on your screen. But somehow If you can’t see it, you can open any topic in this section then type on “No” in the “Was this helpful” section => Contact Us button will show up and you can contact them from there.
  3. Below are 2 messages I sent them before to change my account name. You can follow them!
  4. Your name will be changed after a few days.

Troubleshooting: Can’t sign in via Google ID in Clash Royale

Normally when you face this problem:

  • Can’t Sign In with Google ID.
  • Can’t load Clash Royale accounts.
  • Load wrong account.

Players on Clash Royale Arena have given me dozens of methods and I have tried them all but just only some of them were able to successfully fixed this problem. I am going to give you all of those methods. If a method doesn’t work for you, just try the next one. If you don’t understand any step in this tutorial, don’t hesitate to comment and I will help you out!

At first, please check these things:

  • If you are from China, try to change the DNS of your Internet Connection to 8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8.
  • Are you using the latest Google Services version? If not, please update them via Google Play.
  • Try to clear Cache of your Google Services by going to Settings > Application Manager > Google Play Services > Clear Cache.
  • Try to remove all of your current Google accounts then re-add them. This can fix the problem most of the time.
  • Go to Google Settings Application > Connected Apps then Disconnect Clash Royale.
  • In Clash Royale, try to double tap on the red Disconnected button. Many players mentioned that this solution worked.

If the solutions above still don’t work for you, please try this:

    1. Open Google Settings App -> Choose Play Games -> Delete Play Games Profile.

  1. Open Clash Royale.
  2. In the Game Settings menu, try to connect with your Google ID again.
  3. Everything should be okay now.

And this is the last solution which was shared by Dario Neves

  1. On your device, Open Google Play Store.
  2. Open My Apps & Games menu and open the tab “All”.
  3. Enable “Google Play Games”.
  4. Done.

That’s all solutions I have tested. If you have any other way which helps us Sign In with Google Play Account in Clash Royale, please share here guys! Thank you very much!

Best Ways to Counter Baby Dragon

Best Ways to Counter Baby Dragon

Many new players find it hard to counter the Baby Dragon as he is tanky, deals splash damage and fly. No worries guys! I am here go show you the best ways to counter Baby Dragon! Thanks Orange Juice for sharing these great tips!

Best Ways to Counter Baby Dragon
Best Ways to Counter Baby Dragon

How to counter Baby Dragon in Clash Royale

    • You can counter Dragon with Dragon but there are much better methods that will put you at an advantage.
    • Baby Dragon deals splash damage, that’s why you don’t want to place your troops beside your Tower, especially small troops like Archers or Spear Goblins.
    • It’s better to wait until the opponent’s Baby Dragon targets your Tower then drop your Spear Goblins or Musketeer 1-2 tiles away from the Tower to avoid the splash damage.
    • Archers can tank at least 2 shots from the Baby Dragon so you can use Archers to lure Baby Dragon and completely prevent it from hitting your Tower. If you drop your Archer 1 second before the Dragon is within the Archer’s aggro range, the second Archer will wander off for a moment and that’s 1.5 Elixir for 4 Elixir. This requires a perfect timing so you need to practice couples of times.
      Baby Dragon Vs Archers
      Baby Dragon Vs Archers
    • If you are in a lower Arena, one of the most devastating combos you will encounter down there is the Baby Dragon + Prince combo. The Dragon splashes away at all the troops you are trying to lay down to defend against the Prince. After learning this lesson the hard way, most players will place their troops behind tower but that combo still can do more than 1000 damage over that Tower. The best way of dealing with this combo is to use a pull. Since we know Archers can tank 2 hits from a Dragon, you want to use them to pull the Prince wihtin range of both your Towers. You can get creative with this and do a splitting chain pull for the cost of 3 Elixir.
      prince-baby-dragon-combo
      prince-baby-dragon-combo

  • Hog Rider is my favorite defensive unit to defend against Baby Dragon as he can lure the Dragon into a U-Turn.
    hog-vs-dragon
    hog-vs-dragon
  • Sometimes it’s perfect to Lightning/Rocket the Dragon and also deal additional damage to the enemy Tower and buildings.
  • Defensive buildings are incredibly effective agianst Baby Dragon. Tombstone works too but only If the Dragon is by iself as it can tank at least 3 hits from Baby Dragon.
  • My absolute favorite building to counter a lone Baby Dragon is the Mortar. It can deal up to 700 damage to the enemy’s Tower before getting while getting hit by Baby Dragon.
  • The Witch is also great against the Dragon since her Skeletons can distract the Baby Dragon. After that, she is great for a counter push.

Okay guys thank you very much for reading this!

Jason Deck – Clash Royale Tournament Championship Deck!

83

Today (April 16, 2016), Clash Royale had its first ever physical tournament set in Helsinki, Finland. Out of the 200 participants one player, named Jason, came out victorious. And the really cool thing is, he dominated the tournament with this one deck.

Jason’s Clash Royale’s deck that utilizes the Giant, which in my opinion, is a highly underrated card. The Clash Royale Giant went through so much recent buffs, but people are still going with other tanky options such as Clash Royale Golem and Pekka. But what makes the Clash Royale Giant so special is his Elixir cost, he costs 3 less Elixir than the Clash Royale Golem, which allows you to form stronger combinations.

For example, in this Clash Royale deck, Jason utilizes the Giant with Clash Royale Hog Rider. The concept is to use the Clash Royale Giant as a shield while the Clash Royale Hog Rider can freely target the Clash Royale Arena Tower. Not only that, he uses both the Clash Royale Barbarians and Minion Horde, which you guys know to be an extremely potent defensive and offensive combo.

Both the Clash Royale Giant and Hog Rider are weak to the Inferno Tower, so you can surround these hordes of troops, your Clash Royale Barbarians, Minions, Archers, and Spear Goblins in front of your Giant or Hog Rider to quickly counter the Clash Royale Inferno Tower. And then he also utilizes one of the deadliest cards in the game, the Clash Royale Elixir Collector. And this is what makes this deck so deadly is that once you’ve generated enough Elixir and its double Elixir time, it becomes so easy to overwhelm your opponent with a huge rush with the Clash Royale Giant and Hog Rider combined with a swarm of troops

How to use this Clash Royale deck

I’ve also tweaked this Clash Royale deck a little, and I believe that these changes makes the deck even better. For example, this Clash Royale deck struggles a lot against players who use multiple buildings, especially with the Inferno Tower or Clash Royale hut spammers. So what I did was replace the Clash Royale Spear Goblins and Arrows for Fireball and Zap Spell.

I believe this Clash Royale deck is better because now you have a strong area damaging card like the Clash Royale Fireball to destroy those buildings to allow your Hog Rider and Giant to travel directly to your opponent’s tower. Not only that, the Clash Royale Zap Spell also makes for an excellent combo with the Hog Rider and Giant, allowing you to not only kill or weaken hordes, but also stun your opponent’s tower to allow your Clash Royale Hog Rider or Giant to get an extra shot on the tower.

This is the version of mine:

Best Ways to Counter Prince

Best Ways to Counter Prince

Definitely Prince is the hardest troop to deal with for new players in Clash of Clans. Most new players don’t know how to counter Prince properly. No worries guys. Today Orange Juice is going to show you how to deal with him like a pro!

clash royale counter prince

How to counter Prince Like a Pro

Prince is potentially the strongest car you can en counter when first starting the game. If left alone, a Prince can  wreck a tower very fast. He is one of a few troops which can solo kill a Tower.

A lot of players don’t relize that Prince is technically as ranged troop as he has 2.5 attack range. Versus a melee troop, it will have to walk up to him. His first strike when charging does double the damage.

How to get Epic Cards and Win More

Hey guys it’s Ash and today I just want to give you guys some more great tips about Epic Cards and ways to improve your performance in the game. Especially for those F2P players who are struggling to move up in arenas. And those who are wondering why they are losing so much, why you’re going on losing streaks and how you can avoid them.

How to get Epic Cards and Win More
How to get Epic Cards and Win More

So one of the most commonly asked questions is how do I get epic cards fast? How do I get the Prince card? The Baby Dragon? Or the Witch?

These players believe that the reason they’re struggling to move up in arenas is because they don’t have these epic cards or don’t have enough epic cards. Well here’s the truth guys, you don’t need epic cards to climb fast in arenas. Having too many epic cards in your deck is actually a very bad idea. Focusing on getting more epic cards is also a bad idea if you’re someone who wants to move up in arenas quickly.

So why are these such bad ideas? Well you have to understand that getting and upgrading Epic cards is the hardest thing to do in the game. So if you’re caught up with trying to collect the Prince, the Witch, the Baby Dragon, the Pekka, the Giant Skeleton, and so on, then you’re not going to be successful as someone who doesn’t buy gems. Because these cards are so difficult to upgrade, you’re going to spend a lot of time trying to upgrade them and not move up in your arenas.
Another very important tip I want to give you guys is that the level of your cards is the most important thing when it comes to how powerful your deck is. And usually, the level of your Epic cards are the lowest in your deck. I’ve been following a lot of free2play players who have never purchased gems, and they actually made all the way to legendary arena. And one thing they all have in common is that they rarely use Epic cards. Most of them only use 1 Epic card in their deck. While the majority of the cards in their decks are Common cards. Why? Because Common cards are the easiest to level up.
Not only that, simply because a card is classified as an Epic card, doesn’t mean it’s better than a Common card. Some of the best cards in the game are actually common cards, such as the Minion Horde, Barbarians, Goblins, Spear Goblins, Archers, and so on. So if you want to be successful, win more, and climb up faster, then you need to focus on upgrading these Common cards.

So what about Epic cards? Do I ignore them?

No, it’s still a good idea to work on upgrading one or two Epic cards that are your highest level. For example, if your highest level Epic cards are your level 2 Balloon and level 2 Baby Dragon that you use in your main deck, then instead of trying to get more Epic cards, you should be focusing on upgrading only these two Epic cards. If you think you need a Pekka or a Golem to improve your deck, truth is, you don’t.

Now some of you may be thinking that when you watch TV Royale, you see all of these people using high level Epic cards and Legendary cards, lots of epic cards in their deck. Some of them even using up to 5 Epics and 2 legendary cards in their deck. So a lot of newer players would look at these guys and think that this is what they need to compete with. But truth is guys, these guys in TV Royale are not the most skilled players in the game. They are just simply big spenders, they’ve spent thousands of dollars get where they are. And their competition is very limited. What do I mean by this, well there are only a handful of level 11 and level 12 players in the game. Obviously everyone who’s a level 11 or level 12 has spent thousands of dollars. And what these guys do is they battle themselves all the time. They’re basically playing against 0.000001% of the players in the game. While you guys are playing against thousands of different players in the world, so your competition is vast. What I’m trying to say is, while TV Royale will help you understand how to play better, it’s not a best indication of what the best players are in the world and also is a very bad indication of what good decks are. Because they just use legendary cards and very high level epic cards, that will take a f2p player years to obtain.

So now I’m going to tell you guys how you can weigh your cards. How to know if an Epic card is strong enough to use. For example, if your Prince card is level 1 while all your Common cards are level 6, then believe it or not, your Prince is just too weak to use in your deck. So here’s how you weigh them:
Subtract 4 levels from your Common cards. For example, my Minion Horde is level 8, so 8 minus 4 is 4, so believe it or not guys, my Minion Horde is just as powerful as a level 4 Epic card and is much more powerful than my level 2 Baby Dragon or Balloon. To see how your Rare cards compare to your Epics, you need to subtract 2 levels. So for instance, my Wizard is level 5, so 5 minus 2 is 3. So my Wizard is just as strong as a level 3 Epic card. And to compare how powerful your Epic cards are to your Common cards, just add 4 levels. So both of my Epic cards here are level 2, which means that they just simply are not as powerful as level 6 Common cards. However, I still want to use the Balloon and Freeze combo, since it’s a powerful combo. However, I already have the Wizard who’s a level 5 and can does splash damage and targets both air and ground troops like the Baby Dragon. So I’ll swap the Baby Dragon for my level 7 Barbarians, who are an excellent defense and offense against some of the deadliest threats in the game such as Hog Rider, Prince, Pekka, and Golem. So swapping my level 2 Baby Dragon for my level 7 Barbarians will make my deck stronger.

So you guys get the idea. So make sure you have a bunch of high level Common cards in your deck. Cards such as Minion Horde, Barbarians, Archers, Goblins, Spear Goblins, will all get you trophies and high up in the arenas very quickly if you focus mainly on leveling them up. It’s just so easy to upgrade your Common cards as you get to request for 10 of them in donations, as opposed to just 1 Rare card. And you’re going to see your clan mates who are just focusing on their Epic and Rare cards are struggling to move up in arenas.

Now the last tip I want to give you guys is something like really important. And that’s how to win more and stop going on those losing streaks. And I know I’ve stated this before in one of my guide as well, but it’s just so important to know. Every player who plays in long sessions usually goes on these horrible and random losing streaks. For example, if you play right now for like 2 hours straight and do about 40 battles, then you’re going to find that although you started off very good and probably moved up like 100 trophies, but at the end you started going on this ridiculous losing streak.

Why do these losing streaks happen? Well that’s a fault of the matchmaking system. I’ve tested this many times and I’ve always found that whenever I’m playing in long sessions, like after I’ve done about 8 battles, if I do more then I start getting paired up against players who are higher level than me more frequently.

Not only that, if you guys look at your activity log and look at your losing streak. For example, say you lost 3 times in a row. If you look at the decks all 3 of these players are using, you’ll see that they’re very similar. For example, they might all have the Minion Horde and Hog Rider in the same deck. While if you look before your losing streak, you’ll see that very few people or probably no one has both of these cards in their deck. And I’ve tested this many times in Royal Arena. Whenever I play in long sessions and lose or draw in two battles in a row, I can easily predict what the matchmaking system is going to pair me up against. For example, if the person I lost to use the Pekka and Princess and Inferno Tower, then it is highly likely that the next person I find also has a very similar deck.

So what’s the best way to play? And how do I stop going on these losing streaks?

The solution is quite simple actually. You just have to stop playing in long sessions. If you start losing 2 games in a row, then you should stop playing. Take a short 30 minute or 1 hour break, and then play again. Sometimes even if you won 5 games in a row, it’s a good idea to stop playing because the matchmaking system knows that you’re on a roll and it will start to pair you up against tougher opponents.
So those are my tips for you guys. Guys who don’t pay a ridiculous amount of money to get to the top. So hope you guys found this helpful, don’t forget to give the video a thumbs up and also subscribe if you haven’t for more great clash royale strategy and tips. Also be sure to share this with your clanmates because they’re probably in the same situation as well and get really frustrated with these ridiculous losing streaks and don’t know why it happens.

So thanks for reading guys, I’ll see you guys again soon. Later!
