Clash Royale Tournament – Everything You Must Know

Clash Royale Tournament will be released soon in the upcoming update. As we all can see, this fast and strategic gameplay is extremely suited to eSport competitions. Most players have been organizing their own tournaments, that’s awesome! But there is still one big problem so far, it is the disparities King’s Tower and Card levels, which can be extremely hard to overcome for many skilled players. In order to make Clash Royale Tournament a big part in game, we will have Tournament Rules as you can see in the screenshot below!

Why we need the Clash Royale Tournament Rules?

  • I strongly believe that it takes time to gain the decent knowledge in game to compete in a tournament. At the least, you will have enough time to unlock and play most cards in game.
  • Skillful and experienced players are the most fun to complete with.
  • We all love watching matches of skillful players.

An in order to help players reach these Rules more quickly, Supercell will:

  1. Double the rewards inside Crown Chests. This will make unlocking daily Crown Chest more worthwhile. It’s TWICE AS MUCH GUYS!
  2. Players will be able to get more cards in high Arenas. For example, you can request up to 30 Commons or 3 Rares at a time in Royale Arena!

This update will be released early in the next month. I just can’t wait to see it guys!

Draw in Clash Royale

Sometimes It’s better to get the Draw!

Not only in Clash Royale but also in many other games, the major difference between players who are able to push far in trophies and players who always get stuck at a trophy range is the understanding “when have to play for a draw”.  It’s when your opponent counters everything you play, It’s when you are out-leveled, outmatched or when you have made a big mistake in the early game. It’s when you need to play for a Draw!

Sometimes It's better to get the Draw!
Sometimes It’s better to get the Draw!

Whenever I realize that I just can’t get a single crown, that my opponent can counter every single card I play, that my opponent has cards which nullify my win conditions, I do my best to defend and try to play for a draw. Which means I just wait and see what my opponent plays and try to counter everything he does wisely.

By doing this, I am able to reduce my losses by approximately 50%. Yes, that’s a lot!

According to Wikipedia, most Chest matters will immediately try to play for a draw when things are not going their ways. Don’t hesitate to defend for a draw my friends!

How to use Clash Royale Fireball – Advanced Strategy Guide

Clash Royale Fireball

How to use Clash Royale Fireball – Advanced Strategy Guide

Hey guys it’s Ash again and this will be a quick guide on one of the most important cards in Clash Royale, the Fireball. There are certain Clash Royale cards in this game that I consider to be of the utmost importance and can provide you with incredible value when used properly. The Clash Royale Fireball is a card that costs 4 Elixir Statistics, but properly using it will grant you a value greater than 4 Elixir. And this is how you win Clash Royale battles, by effectively using less Clash Royale Elixir to counter cards or combos of cards that cost greater Elixir…

How to use Clash Royale Fireball - Advanced Strategy Guide
How to use Clash Royale Fireball – Advanced Strategy Guide

A simple example is using your Fireball on 4 Clash Royale Barbarians, since the Barbarians cost 5 Statistics, using your Fireball on them is a winning move because you spent 4 Statistics, meaning you’ll have 1 more Statistics than your opponent. And making these proper Clash Royale plays will allow you to build up more and more Elixir, which you can then use to create powerful combos that your Clash Royale opponent will be unable to react to because of his lack of Elixir compared to your build up of Elixir.

Ultimate Clash Royale Fireball Guide

Fireball Vs. Arrows

Clash Royale fireballClash Royale Arrows

Also, the Fireball is a very important card to have in your Clash Royale deck because otherwise, you will struggle against player who use multiple buildings in their deck. So if your deck does not have the Clash Royale Fireball, Lightning, Rocket, Poison, or the Loon Freeze combo, then you will find yourself struggling against players who use multiple Clash Royale buildings in their deck. This is one of the biggest reasons why I see a lot of people struggling. Instead of using the Fireball, they go with the Clash Royale Arrows card. While the Arrows are a very good card, they will not help against Clash Royale building spammers. So if you don’t have one of those aforementioned cards in your deck, then you may want to go with the Fireball instead of Arrows or maybe even have both in your Clash Royale deck.

Now this Clash Royale guide isn’t about how to use the Fireball to simply win 1 Elixir by dropping it on a pack of Barbarians. No, this is a video on how you can maximize the Clash Royale Fireball to make even greater profit and also understand when to use and how to use it properly. For example, the decks most people hate playing against are decks that incorporate multiple Clash Royale huts or buildings and defenses together, often known as hut spamming or defense spamming. Well guys, in this Clash Royale video I’m going to show you guys that these types of decks are not a  problem if you properly use your Fireball.

Easy Clash Royale Fireball Wins

First, I’m going to quickly show you guys all the one on one scenarios for the Clash Royale Fireball that will grant you a profit, and then we’ll get into more advanced ways of utilizing the Fireball properly.

  • Clash Royale Fireball on Barbarians = 1 Statistics profit
  • Clash Royale Fireball on Minion Horde = 1 Statistics profit
  • Clash Royale Fireball on a Wizard 1 level lower than your Fireball = 1 Statistics profit
  • Clash Royale Fireball on Three Musketeers 1 level lower than your Fireball = 5 Statistics profit

Patience rewards Clash Royale Fireball users

So yea guys, these are the easiest one-on-one scenarios to obtain value with the Clash Royale Fireball. So if you’re Fireballing any other card one-on-one, then you’re not fully taking advantage of the Fireball. The Clash Royale secret of the Fireball is to obtain even greater value. For example, if your Clash Royale opponent sends in Barbarians, then chances are very high that he will also support those Barbarians with something like a ranged attacker. So what you should do is not Fireball onto Clash Royale Barbarians when your opponent has Barbarians coming towards you. What you should do is wait until that last second after your opponent’s Barbarians have made it halfway to your side of the Clash Royale map. Chances are very high that your opponent will send in something behind the Clash Royale Barbarians. So if they send in Clash Royale Wizard behind the Barbarians and you were patient, then you can now Fireball onto both the Barbarians and Wizard at the same time and obtain incredible value.

Not always a good idea to Fireball onto both Clash Royale Arena Tower and Troop

Now what about Fireballing something like the Clash Royale Witch and the Arena Tower at the same time. In my opinion, this is not a good value move because although you are weakening both the Witch and the Clash Royale Arena Tower at the same time, the Witch is still alive and she can still spawn Clash Royale Skeletons. Which means that your opponent can now safely support her with Clash Royale melee troops in front of her. It’s much better to save your Fireball because your Clash Royale opponent will support the Witch anyways, so it’s better to Fireball the Clash Royale Witch and her Skeletons and whatever troops your opponent sends in front of her, all at the same time. This is a much more rewarding move, then to Fireball onto the Witch and Arena Tower at the same time.

Proper placement of Clash Royale Fireball

Now let’s get into more advanced uses of the Fireball, which is to use it on multiple Clash Royale troops or buildings. Remember guys, the Fireball does area damage to everything within its 2.5 tile radius. One very important tip I want to give you guys is that you have to aim for the shadow of the troops when using the Fireball for accurate Clash Royale drops.

Clash Royale Fireball vs Hut Spammers

So let’s talk about whether it’s a good value move to Fireball onto a building and Clash Royale Arena Tower at the same time. This is one of many big reasons why people struggle against players who use multiple Clash Royale buildings. I’m going to tell you guys right now that it’s a bad idea to Fireball in the following manners:

  • Fireball onto a Clash Royale Goblin Hut and Arena Tower is a bad move because the Fireball will only do about 45% damage onto the Goblin Hut. The Goblin Hut costs 5 Clash Royale Statistics, so 45% damage is only about 2 Statistics, while you wasted 4 Statistics.
  • Fireball onto a Clash Royale Barbarian Hut and Arena Tower is a bad move because the Fireball will only do about 30% damage onto the Barbarian Hut. The Barbarian Hut costs 7 Statistics, so 30% is only about 2 Statistics, while you wasted 4 Statistics.

These are main reasons why players struggle against Clash Royale hut spammers. Is because they’re throwing away more Statistics Elixir than the value they’re getting in return. So instead, a rewarding move is to be patient and Fireball onto both the Barbarian Hut and Goblin Hut and/or Arena Tower at the same time. This is a rewarding move because for example:

A level 6 Fireball does 520 Clash Royale Area Damage. While a level 6 Barbarian Hut and Goblin Hut together cost 12 Elixir and together are 2880 HP. So 520 damage onto both the Goblin Hut and Barbarian is a total of 1040 damage. 1040/2880 is about 36%. And 36% of the total 12 Elixir cost is equal to about 4.3 Statistics. So what this means is you spent a 4 Clash Royale Statistics card onto both the Goblin Hut and Barbarian Hut, to deal a damage value of 4.3 Statistics . So you gained a profit of 0.3 Elixir and 208 damage onto the Clash Royale Arena Tower. This is how you beat hut spammers, by making rewarding moves.

Clash Royale Fireball vs Mortar

The mistake I see a lot of people make is that they Fireball onto Clash Royale Mortar thinking that by weakening the Mortar, they’re lessening its impact. But this is a bad move. The Mortar is a 4 Clash Royale Elixir card, while your Fireball is also 4 Elixir. But Fireball onto a Mortar will only do about 45% damage onto it, which is only about 2 Elixir in value. So you’re actually throwing away 2 Elixir when you throw your Clash Royale Fireball onto a Mortar. Instead, what you want to do is to force your opponent into defending the Mortar and then place your Fireball onto both the Mortar and whatever else your Clash Royale opponent placed to defend the Mortar. For example, if they place their Barbarians to protect their Mortar, then Fireballing onto both the Mortar and Barbarians at the same time is a very rewarding move. Also, most of the times, if you’ve weakened the Mortar, it’s just better to let it deal some damage onto your Clash Royale Arena Tower instead, and save your precious 4 Elixir to make a stronger Clash Royale combo push.

Clash Royale Fireball vs Elixir Collector

Another big mistake I see people making is dropping their Fireball onto the Clash Royale Elixir Collector one on one. If you’re doing that, then you’re actually just giving your opponent the win. The Fireball costs 4 src=”https://clash.world/images/elixir.png” alt=”Statistics” width=”15″ height=”17″ />, while the Elixir Collector costs 5 Statistics. While the Fireball only does about 40% damage onto the Elixir Collector, which is value of only 2 Statistics. So you basically wasted 2 Clash Royale Elixir by dropping your Fireball onto the Elixir Collector. Now some people might argue that you stopped the Elixir Collector from generating more Clash Royale Elixir, and so you’ll be able to stop their late game rush. But logically speaking, you did the opposite, you just allowed them to form a bigger Elixir lead from you. After the Clash Royale Fireball onto the Elixir Collector, it can still generate 3 Statistics. So by putting yourself behind in Elixir, you’re allowing your Clash Royale opponent form stronger combos to quickly devour you.

So yea guys, when using the Fireball, always look for key opportunities to maximize your value. Instead of just throwing your Fireball onto just a Clash Royale building (which is a bad move), look for opportunities where you can Fireball two buildings or the building and another troop at the same time, or multiple troops at the same time. Such as Fireball on the Clash Royale Elixir Collector and Archers at the same time. Fireball on the Clash Royale Inferno Tower and Musketeer at the same time. Fireball onto the Clash Royale Barbarians and Minion Horde and Spear Goblins all at once, and you pretty just won the game if you play the rest of your cards right.

 M4SON’s Clash Royale Fireball Guide

Hello everyone M4SON back here with another Clash Royale tips and tricks guide on how to properly use Fireballs in conjunction with your hogs to gain the most advantage. Even though this Clash Royale guide mainly focuses on pairing the hog and the fireball, these skills and techniques can also be applied to other decks. Also just a quick disclaimer this may or may not work in lower arenas, because Clash Royale opponents tend to be more random and play less standard.

To start things offs, if you want to begin pushing to Clash Royale legendary arena you are going to have to start developing skills such as predicting card cycle, tracking elixir, analyzing their deck, and overall trying to read how the enemy is playing the Clash Royale game, and how well you are able to adapt to each circumstance differently. Even though this video is on a very simple concept about sending fireballs, the fireballs I send are all based around these skills.

Clash Royale Tips n’ Tricks

  1. Figure out what Clash Royale deck your opponent is using, and declare your fireball target. What card in your opponents deck do you need to fireball? This can range from Clash Royale barbarians, witches, musketeers, wizards, all the way to cannons or elixir collectors.
  2. How do I send my Clash Royale fireball so its gets maximum value? Always try to hit more than 1 Clash Royale unit with your fireball. Whether it is the Clash Royale arena tower and a troop, or a cannon, troop, and arena tower. Always look for prime opportune moments to correctly send in your Clash Royale fireballs.
  3. Send your fireballs in early. I can’t stress this enough. The Clash Royale fireball has a slow travel time, so when you’re able to predict where the enemy might play a unit, that unit will die upon being summoned or take crucial Clash Royale damage and get pushed back. There are a couple cases for sending early fireballs.
    1. The opponent places down a Clash Royale defensive structure i.e) Cannon, elixir colletor, etc send your hog goblins in to attack with a early fireball so you will hit the defensive structure allowing your hog to get distracted less. Additionally most of the time your Clash Royale opponent will spawn something to defend allowing your fireball to gain even more value.
    2. When you know your Clash Royale opponents deck and his playing cycle, i.e You send hog, he sends Barbs. The next time you send  your hog, you know he will send barbs so you send the fireball in early. This Clash Royale pushes the barbs to the side, giving your hog more hits as well as netting huge value from your fireball by hitting the barbs and the arena tower. This works even more if you hit other weaker Clash Royale troops like goblins, spears, minions.
    3. Another playing case is you have hog+goblins+fireball starting hand. Right as the Clash Royale game starts you hit them all of that, and the early prediction can really catch you off guard. You know your fireball will net some value out of the battle because he will definitely play something to defend your Clash Royale attack. The fireball will weaken whatever unit (or kill it) and allow your Clash Royale goblins to finish them off.
    4. The last case is its 2x Clash Royale elixir, and the game is about to end. You have one last hurrah and final Clash Royale attack, you might as well send in everything with it. Because no matter what, you’re going to hit something. But if you don’t you won’t get punished for it.
    5. Don’t be afraid to hit nothing. In most Clash Royale decks now a days a lot of people are playing with two spells. Most notably Clash Royale zap + fireball offers any deck great utility. If you miss your fireball, you will always have zap as backup to take out minion hordes or any Clash Royale swarmy units.
    6. Most of the time you will be rewarded with your patience. If you see a set of barbarians marching down the Clash Royale lane, the enemy will probably back it up with something like a witch or archers or musketeer. So sometimes waiting till the absolute last second will allow you to net a huge Clash Royale elixir advantage.

So I hope you guys found this Clash Royale guide to be very informative and hope it helped as well. Be sure to subscribe to my Clash Royale YouTube channel for more great daily Clash Royale content!

Bypass Buildings with Clash Royale Hog Rider

Bypass Buildings with Clash Royale Hog Rider

Hello guys, today I am going to so you a stunning new advanced Clash Royale Hog technical which gives you a huge advantage over your Clash Royale opponents: How to bypass buildings while using Hog!

Bypass Buildings with Clash Royale Hog Rider
Bypass Buildings with Clash Royale Hog Rider

How to bypass Clash Royale buildings while using Hog?

Many of you may know how this, the biggest Clash Royale weakness of the Hog Rider is that he can be easily distracted by Clash Royale opponent’s buildings (Cannon, Tesla, Tombstone, Huts,…) in the middle regardless of where you place your Hogs. (Balloon can easily bypass these Clash Royale buildings If you drop it at the corner).

However yesterday fishnoodlesoup shared a stunning method which works 100% of the time. This method utilizes the effectiveness of Clash Royale Goblins, Spear Goblins, Barbarians,..

As you can see in the following video, I placed Hog Rider at the far edge right of the river and immediately place my Clash Royale Spear Goblins right beside him. This pushed the Hog to the right, forced him to do a jump over the river, he bypassed the Clash Royale Inferno Tower in the middle immediately.

For the Clash Royale Tesla, there are 2 unique cases:

  • If your Clash Royale opponent places it perfectly at the center, 3 tiles away from the river, your Hog will bypass it at the right side. However, he still gets locked on it If you attack from the left side.
  • If your opponent places the Clash Royale Tesla perfectly at the center, 4 tiles away from the river, your Hog will bypass it at both sides.

After a lot of test with the Clash Royale Elixir Collector, my Hog Rider can’t bypass it in about 80% of the time. I strongly believe it’s just about timing but I haven’t found out the way to do it properly. That’s great If someone can help me at this :D.

Okay guys so that’s this. Although this is just a single tip but I believe you can deal a ton of Clash Royale damage with it in many situations.

Don’t forget to share this with your friends If you have found this helpful guys! Thank you very much!

How to Push from Arena 1 to Arena 7

Okay guys this is going to be an in-depth guide about how to deal the meta game in every arena in Clash Royale. If you can understand the meta game of your current Arena well, you can easily deal with it and get easily. At least until Arena 7 (2500+ trophies) you will face a new meta game after every a few hundred trophies and it requires a ton of skills If you want to push further, that’s why I am just going to speak for beyond that in this guide. This guide is inspired by AnotherThroneAway.

Recommend Decks

This game is not just about defending! Offense is always better than defense. Take a look at this page to see the best decks for your current Arena!

Arena 1: 0-400 trophies

Most of the time, you will see tanker + DPS pushes (Giant/Knight/Valkyrie/Baby Dragon up front; Archers/Spear Goblins/Musketeer/Bomber supporting behind). If launched properly, this combo can deal loads of damage. In my opinion your best choice is to wait until the opponent’s push has crosses the river, place your high DPS units right on to your opponent’s support troops (as they are the main damage dealers and you must take down them as soon as possible). You can use either Bomber, Knight, Skeleton Army, Valkyrie or Goblins. You will want to use high DPS-per-Elixir troops such as Goblins, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Prince,… to deal with enemy tankers.

Otherwise, you will usually meet Prince and Mini P.E.K.K.A pushes at Arena 1. At this level, Skeleton Army and Goblins are the best cards to deal against those pushes (Prince and Mini P.E.K.K.A can only target 1 unit at a time). If you don’t have any group of troops on your hands, drop your Giant followed by some high DPS troops as soon as you have enough Elixir. Your Giant can soak a decent amount of damage and your support troops behind him can deal a ton of damage to Prince/Mini P.E.K.K.A.

The best tech options in Arena 1 are: Valkyrie, Skeleton Army and Goblins.

Arena 2a: 400-600 trophies

When you get into Arena 2, you will immediately see people using new cards when they shouldn’t (as new cards are too low level). It’s much better to use your already-level Arena 1 cards.

In the first half of the Bone Pit, you will see one of the most infamous swarms in Clash Royale: Skeletons and Minions. Skeletons are mostly used on offense as they can distract Giant/Prince/Mini P.E.K.K.A and deal a lot of damage (actually they have the best DPS-per-Elixir in game). In Arena 2a, your best tech options are Bomber, Valkyrie and Baby Dragon. Skeletons are rarely used for their primary purpose in Arena 2 (as it requires players a decent skill). Minions are usually thrown into pushes when it’s better to use them on defense.

Arena 2b: 600-800 trophies

In Arena 2b, you usually meet Tombstone, Giant Skeleton, Balloon and especially Bomb Tower. Bomb Tower is a defensive structure that can take down any group of troops so you must deal with it appropriately.

Tombstone will wreak your Prince and Mini P.E.K.K.A so you may want to remove them from your deck at this time. Also, the Bomb Tower will remove your Goblins, Archers, Skeleton Army, Bombers,… in just 1-2 hits so you will want to have the Baby Dragon in your deck as it’s the best way to take down the Bomb Tower by now. If you don’t have Baby Dragon, you can use Minions instead but they usually get taken down before the work is done. Otherwise, you can use your Giant to soak damage and push on the other lane!

About the Giant Skeleton, you don’t need to tech against it. You just need to distract it long enough so it can’t die near your Tower. Balloon is very strong in Arena 2 If you don’t know how to deal with it properly. You may want to have the Tombstone or Bomb Tower in your deck as they can lure the Balloon to the middle, then you can use your air-targeting units to take it down quickly (Archers, Spear Goblins, Minions, Musketeer,…)

In this block, your best tech options are: Minions, Baby Dragon and Giant.

Arena 3a: 800-1000 trophies

You will usually face Barbarians, Cannon and Barbarian Hut decks in Arena 3a.

To deal with Barbarians, the best choice is to use either flying units or Bomber. Baby Dragon is extremely useful at dealing with Barbarians as it can hit all four Barbarians at a time. Bomber is great too you should place your Bomber in the middle, once the Barbarians have crossed the bridge. Cannon is a great defensive card and it will lure your Giant/Balloon to the middle. Minions and Musketeer is your best choices to deal with Cannon at this time (Musketeer can out-ranged Cannon!).

In Arena 3a, your best tech options are Bomber, Bomb Tower, Minions, Musketeer and Baby Dragon!

Arena 3b: 1000-1100 trophies

At here, you sometimes face X-Bow decks. The X-Bow got nerfed a lot before but many players are still using it. Yes, that’s a good news! It sucks If you don’t know how to deal with it properly but trust me, dealing with X-Bow is very easy and it will give you an Elixir advantage. Just make sure you place sometime else on the ground before it starts hitting (to avoid it from hitting your Tower). You can use Giant, Valkyrie,… to tank damage form the X-Bow and use Spear Goblins, Minions, Archers, Musketeer,… to take it down. If you have Rocket and you can’t reach the X-Bow, just Rocket it!

The only way to deal with Rocket is to keep your buildings spread apart so your opponent can’t damage your buildings and Tower nearby at the same time.

Hut Decks are  pretty popular in Arena 3 and you will quickly grow to hate them (or love them?). Your best way to deal with these annoying decks is to use Rocket on those Huts. You will always want to have the Fireball to deal with Barbarian swarms. You will also want to use the Bomb Tower, just make sure you have enough air-targeting cards to deal with the opponent when he is trying to take down yours.

I usually like pushing on the other lane immediately with Prince If my opponent places the 7-Elixir Barbarian Hut. He won’t have enough Elixir to deal with a decent sneak push and If you do it well, it will be an easy crown for you!

In Arena 3b, your best tech options are Bomb Tower, Rocket, Bomber and Fireball.

Arena 4a: 1100-1250 trophies

You are going to face Hog Rider, Minion Horde, Tesla and Freeze Spell!

Minion Horde can be easily countered by Arrows, Fireball and Minion Horde. Also Tesla is pretty weak in this patch but you still must know how to deal with it properly. You will want to use your tanker to soak damage and use your high DPS troops behind to take it down quickly. Most Hog Riders in Arena 4 are low level so all you need to do is to keep a high DPS-per-Elixir troop (Skeletons, Tombstone, Goblins,…) on your hand to deal with Hog.

In Arena 4a, your best tech option are Arrows and Fireball.

Arena 4b: 1250-1400 trophies

Hog Riders are ripening now and you have to know how to deal with them properly otherwise you will get a really really bad losing streak.

Cannon is definitely the best defensive building to deal with Hogs. Don’t place it down unless you are at 10 Elixir. Place it in the middle of your side once your opponent places the Hog Rider and use other troops to take down the Hog Rider quickly when it is attacking your Cannon. Skeletons and Goblins are perfect for this. Otherwise Barbarians and Tombstone are also great! Tombstone is very useful when your opponent has Freeze. Most players drop the Freeze on both Tombstone and Tower before the Tombstone is destroyed so your Skeletons will still take it down quickly (Yes, your opponent has just waited the Freeze!). Moreover, If your opponent has Freeze, you will want to wait until he drops his Freeze, otherwise you should use ranged units and drop them far enough so opponent can’t freeze them and your Tower at a time.

Inferno Tower? Don’t worry about it! You can use Minion Horde or any swarm to deal with it. Because Minion Horde is also very useful against Hog, you will want to have this card in your deck as well. If you face any P.E.K.K.A, you can distract her with your small units (followed by high DPS troops). Cannon, Minion Horde, Barbarian, Musketeer, Inferno Tower,.. are great at dealing with P.E.K.K.A.

Your best tech options in Arena 4b are Cannon/Tombstone, Minion Horde, Barbarians, Skeletons, Goblins and Spear Goblins.

Arena 5: 1400-1700 trophies

There are not many changes here. You will see Wizards backing up tankers a lot here. In the 1400-1500 trophy range, Wizards don’t do much damage and Zap won’t even kill your Goblins as they are low level. Just don’t use your Spear Goblins or Minions to deal with Wizard! You can use Baby Dragon, Prince, Mini P.E.K.K.A or Knight to deal with him. Otherwise, I posted a guide before which shows you how to deal with Wizard by using Barbarians and even Skeletons, you may want to take a look at here! People usually use Wizard to support tankers (Giant, Giant Skeleton,…) so you will want to take him down first. Drop your counter on him immediately once he has crossed the bridge.

Mirror is a non-issue in Arena 5 for sure. Poison is a pretty weak card at Arena 5 and there isn’t any decent way do deal with it. Just don’t place your troops in the soup and you will be fine!

In general, your best tech options in this Arena are Musketeer, Mini P.E.K.K.A and Knight.

Clash Royale Arena 6
Clash Royale Arena 6

Arena 6: 1700-2000 trophies

Although not many cards are added in Arena 6 but they are all great cards. You will get pissed off a lot If you don’t know how to deal with them properly.

Mortar? Firstly, your opponent will almost always place it right next to the river so it can damage one of your Tower. Mortar is usually coupled with Cannon or Bomb Tower for defense, with Spear Goblins, Goblins, Barbarians,… for controlling the bridge. Once again, in my opinion, Baby Dragon is very great at this. Usually Mortar decks have poor anti-air defense and they are holding Arrows or Fireball for Minion Horde. Valkyrie is also extremely useful when gets protected well as she can take down both multiple defenses at a time.

Elixir Collector? The best way to deal with the Elixir Collector is… to have the Elixir Collector. Otherwise you can Rocket it and deal additional damage to thee Tower. If you have great cards on your hands which can launch a big sneak push (Hog Rider + Freeze for example), immediately push on the other lane!

Golem? Hands down, the best way to deal with it is to use the Inferno Tower. Just like Hog Rider, place it slightly off center in order to lure the Golem and your troops will have a lot of more time to hit it. If you also face Hut and Hog decks a lot, I strongly believe you should use Cannon in stead of Inferno Tower. Also, just don’t forget to take down the supporting troops behind Golem first before dealing with it!

In Arena 6, your best tech options are Baby Dragon, Minion Horde, Valkyrie and Inferno Tower.

Arena 7a: 2000-2200

Obviously Arena 7 cards don’t affect the meta a lot. 3 Musketeers is a great card but rarely used in this range. Dark Prince is an amazing card but just like 3 Musketeers, no one wants to use level 1 Dark Prince.

At this trophy range, you will face Mortar decks a lot as this is where Mortar starts to hit level 7-8. You will also face a lot of P.E.K.K.A decks. So you are going to deal with a stronger version of Hog Freeze.

In this trophy range, your best tech options are Inferno Tower, Cannon, Minion Horde, Baby Dragon and Valkyrie.

Arena 7b: 2200-2500

This is what we call the paywall in Clash Royale. Or this is the range where you begin to see players who have spent a serious amount of money to get level 4 Epics, level 9 Commons,…

The upside of this trophy range is that you will not see too many variety. The downside is that it’s a bit tough to deal with most attacks here, just because of what it is. Players who can push up to 2200 trophies are all smart and have a decent knowledge as well as skill in this game. It’s extremely hard to predict what you will face and it’s also hard to deal with high level cards.

You are still facing a lot of Golem, P.E.K.K.A, Prince, Mortar, Hog Rider, Elixir Collector,… decks here but players are much smarter.

  • Hate Mortar? Go with Baby Dragon, Cannon and Valkyrie.
  • Hate Rocket? Go with Hog Freeze.
  • Hate Hog and Freeze? Go with Cannon, Freeze, Minions, Spear Goblins,…
  • Hate Hut Decks? Go with Lightning, Rocket, Fireball, Bomb Tower,…
  • Hate P.E.K.K.A and Golem? Go with Inferno Tower, Barbarians, Tombstone, Goblins,…

I don’t think I can give you any more decent advice here. It’s just because of you! Keep playing and grinding! Because you can push to 2200+ trophies, you can push to 2500+ and even more! Above 2500+ trophies, it’s just about your focus and the level of your cards…

Okay guys so that’s it! I know this guide is pretty long but I have done my best to keep it as simple as possible.

Thanks for reading guys! If you need any help, please comment and I will help you out!

How to counter Clash Royale Mortar Decks

Due to the fact that Clash Royale Mortar decks are very popular at this time, I would love to make a small special post about how to counter them for players who still don’t know how to properly do that xD.

counter-mortar-clash-royale

Please take everything in this Clash Royale guide with a grain of salt as every situation you face will be very different and it’s up to you to adapt and deal with it properly.

First, Mortar Deck is not OP at all unless you don’t know how to deal with it properly. Things make Mortar strong are the cards used in conjunction with it. I did post a Mortar deck before, which helped me push from 2400 to 3400 trophies, you may want to take a look at here. Also, you can read everything about Mortar on Clash Royale Arena at here.

Typical Mortar Decks in Clash Royale:

  1. Mortar + defensive buildings (Cannon, Inferno Tower, Bomb Tower,…).
  2. Mortar + high Elixir troops (Barbarians, Valkyrie, Giant Skeleton,…)
  3. Mortar + low Elixir troops (Skeletons, Goblins, Minions,…)

How to counter Clash Royale Mortar Decks

  1. Keep track of Clash Royale cards your opponent is using to make the Mortar setup.
  2. If you do have Clash Royale Elixir Collector in your hands, play it aggressively. I love using it to distract the Mortar while using my troops to take down it. If you don’t have Clash Royale Elixir Collector, start mentally preparing your cards to counter the opponent’s plays. Most Mortar players usually focus on the weaker side and stick to it.
  3. If you have Clash Royale defensive buildings in your hand, always having them ready to place down immediately once your opponent has just placed his Mortar so it will lock onto that Mortar right away.
  4. Clash Royale Barbarians and Minion Horde offer insane damage to counter Mortars + Towers nearby. Of course other small troops can also get the job done: Spear Goblins, Minions, Archers, Baby Dragon, Musketeer, Goblins,…
  5. Clash Royale Zap offers a great utility against Mortar. You can Zap the Mortar when it is hitting your Tower and it will immediately reset the target (of course make sure you have troops/buildings on the ground before zapping it). Zap is also a great spell to clear cheap troops which protect the Mortar. Zapping Mortar + taking out small troops at the same time is such a great trade!
  6. If your opponent has Clash Royale Minion Horde or Barbarians, you can easily make the most of your spells (Fireball/Rocket/Arrows) by using it right on top of them. You are always above to hit both of Mortar and whatever he uses and get an Elixir Advantage.
  7. Clash Royale Hut decks work pretty well against Mortars as they constantly distract Mortars with continuous waves flowing. You can easily make a strong death ball counter push at the late game.
  8. Giant, Golem, P.E.K.K.A are extremely effective at distracting the Mortar. These heavy Clash Royale tankers can soak all hits from the Mortar and help you launch a strong push on the other lane. Of course you can push on the same lane Mortar is placed but personally I think it’s better to push the other side.
  9. Clash Royale Valkyrie is a great choice to deal with Mortar deck as she has a decent amount of HP, nice damage and she can deals damage to all buildings nearby which are protecting the Mortar.
  10. Don’t hesitate to play for the Clash Royale Draw If you think you just can’t win.

More details can be watch in this video!

Okay guys I hope you enjoyed this Clash Royale post. Don’t hesitate to comment If you need any help. Also, please share other tips you know to counter Mortar Decks here and help me improve this page! Thank you guys!

How to counter Clash Royale Sparky

How to counter Clash Royale Sparky

Lately, I have seen lots of complaints about the new Legendary card, the Sparky. Clash Royale Sparky is a very overbearing card which can deal an insane amount of damage. It will completely destroy your Clash Royale Tower if you don’t know how to deal with it properly.

How to counter Clash Royale Sparky

Most Clash Royale players will say using Barbarians is the easiest trick to deal with Sparky. It would work well if Sparky is alone. But trust me, most Clash Royale Sparky users don’t drop Sparky down unless they have support troops/spells.

  • In my opinion, Zap and Freeze are the best Clash Royale counters! These Clash Royale cards are your best bets while playing against Sparky. Both them can stop and reset Sparky’s charge and Sparky will have to charge for 5 more seconds. Personally I have found that Clash Royale Freeze is extremely helpful at dealing with Sparky pushes. Save either once you have noticed your Clash Royale opponent using Sparky.
  • Clash Royale Fireball is also very useful at fighting against Sparky. It takes out 1/3 HP of Sparky and also cripples Clash Royale Musketeer + Wizard nearby. You will only want to use it If you can use another troop in the blast.
  • People are using Clash Royale Rockets to deal with Sparkies a lot! And I definitely agree with this.
  • If you don’t have any Clash Royale spell in your hand, drop a cheap Clash Royale card (Skeletons, Spear Goblins, Goblins, …) down to soak damage (surround the Sparky If possible). Then use a high DPS troop such as Mini P.E.K.K.A, Prince,… to take out the Sparky.
  • Clash Royale P.E.K.K.A can soak 2 hits from the Sparky and yea, she has tons of damage. Read more about their damage and HP at here.
  • As Clash Royale Sparky can’t shoot air troops and it takes time for Arrows to reach side, you can use Minion Horde or even Minions to deal with Sparky, if Wizard isn’t behind it of course. Don’t forget to “Zap” it right on the Clash Royale bridge before it hits your Tower. If you don’t have Zap, it’s recommended to use a cheap Clash Royale card to soak the damage.
  • Clash Royale Guards, yes, this card is just awesome! But you will want to place them correctly so they will surround Sparky.
  • ….

Do you help any other way to counter the annoying Sparky? Please don’t hesitate to share your opinions my friends!
